741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 09, 2022, 08:57:59 AM
Without get agreement both side between Pogba and Manchester United next window transfer opening Pogba become free transfer player and all club looks easy to get his sign's,

I think that's what Pogba wants. If he were on a free transfer, he could demand a much higher hand money in contract negotiations with his new club. It was similar with David Alaba, for example. He had rejected contract offers from Bayern again and again for a long time and gained time until Bayern could no longer sell him with a transfer fee. In the end, he moved to Real Madrid last season without a transfer fee and got a big hand money from his new employer.
742  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: January 07, 2022, 09:08:23 AM
At this point, I wouldn't speak of a bear trap anymore. Bitcoin has lost over 30% from its all-time high. So this is a big correction, however I expect we'll be going into a bull market again soon.

Just have to look at the comments of the last few days. Goldman Sachs yesterday - although Bitcoin has fallen significantly - made the statement that Bitcoin is the new gold. Two years ago, Goldman Sachs would have spoken of such a slump in prices as a scam and that Bitcoin would have no intrinsic value. Today it's the new gold. So the narrative has changed completely.

With so many Bayern Munich players who will not be able to play in the match against Gladbach, I was quite surprised to see the Asian betting market, because Gladbach was given a +2 handicap in this match. I feel something fishy here Roll Eyes

Other betting sites have similar odds for Gladbach. I don't think they've really priced that in yet, which makes it a good betting opportunity.
Here is a list of Bayern's new nominees for today's game against Gladbach (age in parentheses).

Arijon Ibrahimovic (16)
Paul Wanner (16)
Bright Arrey-Mbi (18)
Taylor Booth (20)
Jamie Lawrence (19)
Lucas Copado (17)

The first two players just turned 16  Cheesy
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 01:32:17 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED.
What FED? Do you mean FUD?

FED = Federal Reserve, its the American central bank.
Yesterday, the FED announced that it will probably exit its loose monetary policy even faster because of the high inflation and therefore less money will be available. That is why not only crypto collapsed yesterday/today but also some stocks, especially the highly valued stocks from the tech sector. In my opinion, an overreaction, but it was about time that a little air was let out of the bubbles.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 06, 2022, 01:28:14 PM
Bayern wants to postpone tomorrow's game against Gladbach because there are so many corona cases in the team. But it doesn't look like the German Football League will go for it. That's why Bayern is flying in several U17 players today, so that a squad for tomorrow's game can be set up at all. On the other hand, Gladbach has only one confirmed Corona case of a regular player and can therefore virtually has the full manpower. I bet a small amount on a victory of Gladbach  Cheesy The odds are still much too high for the current situation in my opinion.

747  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: January 05, 2022, 10:57:32 AM
This thread is now 3.5 years old and it was written when Bitcoin was in the bear market and interestingly enough it is always re-published when Bitcoin is in the bear market again Cheesy While Bitcoin is rising it is very quiet here with new posts.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 05, 2022, 10:53:08 AM
Its been a very long time that I've been using coinmarketcap.com/new to find new crypto projects that just get listed on the platform and I've come to notice that every two to three days coinmarketcap always list up to 30 new crypto projects, how insane is that? It shows that more than 100 crypto projects are released every week cos some landed on coingecko first before coinmarketcap, this to me is scary

Yes, that's definitely insane, but it's also not new. I remember back to 2016 and 2017, when it was even worse. There were 20-30 new ICO projects every day. One lost the overview. And a similar number of projects were listed on Coinmarketcap every day at that time. Then, during the years of the bear market (2018-2020), there were significantly fewer new projects founded. With the bull market and the NFT boom, this then changed again.

Also interesting is an article from Techcrunch from 2017 about which projects are promising. You only have to look at how many of them are still in the top 10 at CMC and you get a good impression of how fast-moving crypto is.

749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 13th Birthday, Bitcoin. You are a teenager now! on: January 05, 2022, 10:41:43 AM
You have more than 100 million owners.

You are a legal tender of a country (El Salvador).

90% of Americans have heard about you.

Your market cap is around one trillion USD (it is close to the biggest companies and only 10 times less than the market cap of gold).

Your price has increased about 50 million times (from 0.001 USD to 50 000 USD).

Interesting summary of some important facts and achievements! And all this without a central unit, only through a constantly growing and decentralized community! That is the really impressive thing about Bitcoin.

Also more than 90% of it has been already mined.

And yet it still has the best days ahead of it. Just like a 13 year old Smiley

According to Di Marzio Morata will stay in Juventus.
LOL. Juventus doesn't want to lose him although his performance doesn't look impressive during this season. I think Juventus doubt that they will get a top CF in the next transfer window, so they prefer to extend Morata's contract. So, even they don't sign any central forwards, their attacking line is still quite strong to face the remaining matches

I also think that Juve does not want to lose him. Especially after it was just reported that Aaron Ramsey is in agreement with Newcastle and wants to leave Juve. Accordingly, Morata would be another bitter loss that they will probably not accept.

Also, two new contract extensions were reported. Thiago Silva extends at Chelsea by another year until July 2023 and Angel Correa extends at Atletico Madrid until 2026.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Altcoin experience and Lessons on: January 04, 2022, 10:50:58 AM
Take Hex coin for example I invested some amount in the coin when the project first launched with a very low price of 0.0005 and I bought around 50k of the coin that was a $25 investment at that time but the same coin raised to 0.49 in 2021 before dropping back 0.24 at the present price, let say I sold my $25 investment of 2 years at the peak price of $0.49=$25,500 that could have been huge profits but guess what I sold at the $0.005 which is much less but lessons learn always make the right decision at the right time.

HEX is a bad example in my opinion although I don't begrudge you the price gains. I only hope for you that you also realize and secure these profits. Because HEX is in my opinion highly dangerous. The high price only comes about because a large part of the coins are lured and they promised horrendous interest rates. In addition, the very largest part of the coins lie with the founder himself. The fully diluted market cap is at $150 billion what makes it third after Bitcoin and Ethereum.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains with Real Utility that Get Overlooked on: January 03, 2022, 07:15:14 PM
Utility is something that is seriously overlooked by a lot of people in this space. It's understandable that this industry is highly speculative, but there are some blockchains in this space that don’t get the amount of attention they deserve.

There are many blockchain projects that can basically read a problem and where at least the goal is to fix a real problem with it. The question is whether there is enough adoption for such a project. If no companies and businesses are interested in it, then the idea can be as good as it is, but the project will come to nothing. This is a much more important point than just looking at the real utility factor.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 03, 2022, 07:11:06 PM
Bayern munich seems the most favorite in this match. And they have high probabilities of winning with many goals.

One should not lose sight of the Covid factor. Bayern currently has seven regular players who are recognized by Corona. There is a suspicion that at least one more player is sick. Most of them will have to rest for at least two to three weeks. In Gladbach, there is currently only one confirmed case. This could turn the game completely upside down if it is not postponed.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk guesses who bitcoin's mysterious creator Satoshi Nakamoto is on: January 02, 2022, 02:58:00 PM
I personally don't care if it is Elon Musk or a random guy who says he thinks who Satoshi might be.

In the wording Musk did not say that he knows who Satosthi is, but only what he believes or considers most likely. And there was the name Nick Szabo. Of course, you could dismiss this as pure speculation, but maybe Elon Musk knows more than we do. However, as I already said, I personally don't believe that Szabo is Satoshi. But I guess everyone has their own opinion on that.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: January 02, 2022, 02:20:14 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.

In retrospect, investing $200 in Shiba Inu would have been best. I recently read an article on Business Insider where an investor invested $8000 in Shiba. He then sold when they were worth $5 billion. If you would have bought Shiba Inu for $200 you would have $55 million in your account today.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 02, 2022, 02:02:07 PM
I'm watching Getafe vs Real live on TV and I must say that the game is much more exciting than expected. Despite many great chances of Real, Getafe leads 1-0. I didn't bet on the game because it looked too clear for Real, but Getafe is always lurking on the counterattack and they could take at least a point here. Just thinking about betting on a draw in the live betting.

758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin new year on: January 01, 2022, 03:41:32 PM
happy new year 2022, hopefully 2022 will be better than 2021. what do you think I want to buy bitcoin, can it still be profitable?😄

Well, if you believe one Bitcoin can reach a price of $1 million, then you still can make more than 20 times profit from today Cheesy It is always a question of perspective. The question has always been there. No matter if the price was at $25, at $150 or at $7000. So far it has always multiplied from those levels. Quite possible that in two years at the turn of the year someone will ask: Bitcoin reached 500k, is it still possible to make profits from this level? Smiley
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: January 01, 2022, 03:36:28 PM
It is difficult to evaluate the strategy of Borussia, since we do not know what depends on what - whether it sells players out of a desire to make money, or whether it makes money by selling players from a lack of them. In any case, I'm sure Borussia has less money than Bavaria. As for Haaland, he himself inflates the hype around him - his performance is better than that of Ronaldo or any other player in his years.

I think the situation is already clear. Dortmund must sell Haaland. Not for financial reasons, Dortmund's balance sheet was relatively good compared to many other clubs in the last two pandemic years. But because Haaland has the exit clause and he will most likely pull it before the end of the contract period. Dortmund has already found a successor in Adeyemi from Salzburg. The club and the player are in agreement, only the amount of the transfer fee is still being haggled over.
