The Czech Republic is a one-player team... Patrik Schick certainly played well in previous games, but still the English have much more professionals... I think the English will win!

By the way, a lot can change in Group D today! Grin

Not really, right? England and the Czech Republic are almost certain to qualify. Even if one of the teams loses and the other game doesn't end in a draw, then the Czech Republic or England is only third but with four points and that would definitely be enough for the round of 16. So the only exciting match is Croatia against Scotland.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: metamask: how do I delete accounts on: June 22, 2021, 06:35:43 PM
All the addresses are dervied from your private key or seed, so you can not delete them, they are connected to your account literally forever. If you want to "get rid" of them you need to hide/dismiss them or create a new account and transfer all your assets to this new one. But it is not recommend in times with such high fees. So you need to live with them.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: June 21, 2021, 03:12:37 PM
I did a lot of them back in 2018. All are worthless now.
I stopped around 2019, also because of KYCs.

That's the real cause why Airdrops are time wasting nowadays. In 2017 and earlier, airdrops were a money printing machine. Especially until the peak in 2017, you could earn several thousand dollars a week just from airdrops. It was insane. But only those who sold directly after they received the airdop tokens profited. Because after the peak in December 2017, the prices crashed enormously and many airdrop tokens were hardly worth anything.

After that, the airdrop boom waned and serious projects then demanded KYCs. There were still airdrops without KYC but they were mostly scams where it was not worth the time to invest.

The time of the airdrop era is over. So, to conclude, airdrops are not worth the time anymore.
1325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 21, 2021, 02:57:58 PM
Most likely Belgium will make changes in the starting lineups to give the main players a rest... For example, yesterday Italy did so... But I don't think they will have difficulties with the outsiders...
I'm more interested in Ukraine vs Austria match... The winner will play Italy! Grin

I don't think Belgium will underestimate Finland. Because for Belgium it is important to finish first in the group to avoid strong opponents already in the round of 16 or quarterfinals. Basically, it is possible that Belgium can only finish third in the group, if Russia and Finland win, they could both pass Belgium. Therefore, they might spare some players, but in general they can't do that.
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: June 21, 2021, 02:34:18 PM
Because the majority of them afraid of crypto regulation, thats all. Crypto is still a shady thing in almost every country

Banks must undergo a regulation. Investing in assets that are not regulated is therefore dangerous for them. In addition, banks always want to hedge their investments, e.g. with swaps or options. These do not (yet) exist in the crypto sector, so investments in the crypto sector would currently be very dangerous for banks. In my opinion, that is the main reason.
1327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: June 21, 2021, 02:31:12 PM
Question: What's a good indication that the dump has stopped and it's  at its lowest before prices start increasing? Any pattern in this regard?

There is no clear indication. Often it is a bear or bull trap. Moreover, from technical analysis, there are hardly any indicators that work well in crypto and show an end of a dump. One should pay much more attention to the news. Currently, dumping is taking place as China continues to get serious with its crackdown on cryptocurrencies. That is the main reason. Crypto is extremely news-driven, so this should be one's first point of reference to determine if a dump can still continue or has reached its end.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 20, 2021, 06:05:30 PM
Wales play well, but they can't beat Italy... Hopefully we'll see some more goals from Italy in the next half! I think Wales are now playing with future cup champions!

Today Italy disappointed me a bit. After the first two games I saw Italy as a clear favorite in the tournament, but after today's game they don't seem to be as strong as the impression was. They didn't play badly, but you could see that they have difficulties when a team is defensively compact, like the Welsh today.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype is over, next hype please on: June 20, 2021, 02:03:15 PM
Unfortunately, no real discussion has unfolded here on the actual topic, that I think it is better to close the thread.

What can be said from the posts so far is that there are many who believe that the NFT hype is not over yet. That surprised me, since many indicators clearly point to it.

1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 19, 2021, 04:29:39 PM
Wow, Ronaldo is on a roll! Shocked
He scored his last one to take the record of the most in Euros 12th goal for this one.
Germany looked good out of the gate but I think Portugal got on their horse after that disallowed goal from a hand ball by Mueller to deny it.

The goal was taken back because of Gnabry's offside, not because of Mueller's handball, as it was not intentional. I can't understand how Germany are doing such a tactic on corner kicks. All defenders in front and Harvertz and Gündogan as last men. No wonder that such a goal can happen through a counterattack. It was beautifully played, so the lead is justified.
1332  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 19, 2021, 02:31:32 PM
Though we think that Biden's tax plan will be a success, the reality is that there are still many holes that need to be closed. I don't know how much tax rates they managed to get from an uperclass like the multi billionaire mentioned above, but it's pretty bad considering they can get away with it easily, and I'm sure there's still a lot that we don't know and don't disclose to the public, imo.

Biden's tax plan will take the wealth away from the upper middle class and distribute it among the poor. The rich are not going to get affected, because they almost never sell their assets and take loans against the assets to cover the monthly expenses. In the end, the rich and the poor are happy about the Biden tax plan, while the middle class get royally screwed. The rise in corporate tax means that almost all the commodities and essentials will become costlier. Also, families with one or two children are at a disadvantage, as the new tax plan favors those who have a dozen or so children.

And don't forget where Biden (just like the Republicans) got their enormous campaign contributions. From the super-rich. He will go easy on them and largely burden the richer in the middle class, because why should the Democrats hurt themselves by alienating their best donors.
1333  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 18, 2021, 09:45:41 AM
I read this recently as well. Whereas with Soros and Bezos, it didn't surprise me. It surprised me much more with Buffett, because he has been an advocate for a long time, and has also publicly demanded several times that "his class", the super-rich, should be taxed more. And then, of all people, he is the one of the super-rich who pays the least taxes. This is exactly my sense of humor!
In general, however, it shows that the U.S. has a problem with taxation in general.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The notion that “Ethereum is a shitcoin” is passé in 2021. on: June 18, 2021, 09:36:05 AM
How can people like Max Keiser and Tone Veys still call Ethereum a shitcoin? I get all of ETHs flaws, but it is a working function product. Stablecoins are useful. DEXs are useful. These people are starting to sound like the Peter Shiffs of Bitcoin.

Honestly, many of the top 100 coins are no shit coins. They all build on the same technology and go their own way at one point or another. When people talk about that those top 100 coins are shitcoins, then it usually has to do with the fact that they don't understand the coin.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype is over, next hype please on: June 18, 2021, 09:32:47 AM
That was a pretty short hype, but you can state that the NFT hype is over. This can be measured most clearly by the prices for NFT projects and NFT tokens. If you take Chilliz, for example, the price has collapsed by 75% from the high. In comparison, Bitcoin is currently valued around 45% lower from its high.

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
Well, it’s now like a regular thing for community; every new idea that comes into the market gets hyped and after that, they all fade and people stop investing and talking about them again.

I would not say that. There are some new technologies in crypto which did not get much hype (or at least not yet). The DAG technology  (directed acyclic graphs instead of a single chain of blocks) for example comes straight to my mind. Another one are side chains. Great idea but projects who have implemented it yet have not really got hyped.
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 18, 2021, 09:22:05 AM
Tomorrow we will have boring games, maybe the only one interesting will be England Scotland since it is a derby.
I find England - Scotland as an easy game, it should be a training mode for the first team. If England struggle to win, I will be very surprised. Otherwise Sweden vs Slovakia is interesting since the latter could be the surprise of this group, picking a spot from Spain or Poland.

Seeing it the same way as you. England - Scotland should be very clear. England convinced me in the first game, so that I would count them to the three four teams to win the tournament, and Scotland showed that they can fight but having a lack of strategy and individual skills.

Sweden - Slovakia could be an interesting one. According to the odds, Sweden is the clear favorite but I would go for a double chance Slovakia.

Betcoin.ag | 1.65| 4.0| 5.8|
BetFury| 1.65 | 4.0 | 5.8|
Bitsler | 1.63| 3.88| 5.63|
Cloudbet | 1.66| 3.95| 5.9|
FortuneJack | 1.65| 4.0| 5.8|

Stake | 1.65| 4.0| 5.8|
TrustDice | 1.65| 4.0 | 5.8|
Wolf.Bet | 1.64| 3.86| 5.94|

When were this odds it was bigger yesterday. But currently netherland leading 1:0 and clearly better with more 100% chances. A lot of misses hopefully dosent cost them in the second half

The odds are constantly changing depending on how many bettors are betting on a certain outcome of a game. It is usually always the case that the odds of the big favorite drop in the last few hours before the game, because many are still betting on the favorite just before the close. It's a known pattern. So if you are sure who will win days before the game, then you should bet on it as early as possible, because the odds are then usually higher.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Large exchanges contacting and offering us to list altcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 02:46:17 PM
Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit
I wouldn't call them large exchanges. Now that you mentioned them, I would rather take my time than rush and list the tokens there. You can also try searching on the internet about fake trading volume and you would probably these two names appear. Again, this is assuming you are talking to the real exchange representatives.

I agree. Those exchanges are not really big. When you talked about large exchanges I thought on Binance or KuCoin. I also doubt that these exchanges really have such a high trading volume. Often this is just manipulated in that the exchange itself trades coin back and forth so that the volume increases. I would not spend so much money to be listed on these exchanges. Just the fact that they write to you already shows a lot.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans Bitcoin again in 2021 on: June 17, 2021, 02:41:23 PM
China is closed economy for the world but china want to do business in every country of the world. China controls the crypto market and its funny that they have banned crypto in their own country. Nonetheless take this as buying opportunity. Remember 2017 DIP? BTC went up to its ATH after that in Dec 2019.

I don't think you can compare this ban with previous ones. I remember when China banned Bitcoin a few years ago, the price plummeted massively. At that time, the ban did not last long, by the way, because the Chinese also realized that they can't do that so easily. Today, the ban has only had a minor impact. That also shows how the factors are shifting. A tweet from Elon Musk about Bitcoin has much more influence nowadays.
