The coming flu season will be the breaking point. Normal flu is less lethal during spring and summer so finger crossed how Covid behaves for the months ahead. You don't want to have people hanging on ventilators at the ICU's again.

Vaccine will be ready at the start of 2021 ore later during spring, it's also possible before 2021. All of them are in the 3th fase of testing.

I hope it will be a done deal in summer 2021 so i can enjoy major sports events like Euro football championship with mass gatherings drinking a glas of beer watching the games and of course seeing woman in tight orange football outfits again lol.

The top 3 is still worrisome, i expect India to overtake U.S.A sooner ore later. Do not underestimate Covid-19 the danger is still there, stay save.

It's about the initial infection's virus load the immune system has to cope with. This is, by research, the main factor for severeness of Covid19.
Secondary, how effective the individual immune system is working against viruses.
Additionally, the virus floats, bound to aerosols. Influenza is falling to the ground pretty quickly, compared to SARS-CoV-2.
Make your own judgement based on these factors.

Even worse, it seems that positive individuals without symptoms don't develop antibodies. I leave it up to research and science if most of these were false positives, but it seems kinda obvious. Otherwise: good bye, herd immunity.

I recognized that i started to get extremely fed up about "Corona" discussion in general. Not only the mask-defenders, also the weak conspiracy minded and selfish "we don't need the weak and old, so let em die"- type. Everything. It seems like constantly arguing is making everything social-related worse. And it sticks out of my ass already.
I couldn't eat as much as i'd like to vomit. I hope i can find my way out of this depressive episode soon, without being dependent on people becoming SANE again, if they ever were. But this time, with the flu season coming, it's likely going to boil up to the point where everybody hates everybody else. Or is it just me?

EDITed some minor things.

I don't think there will be much of a flue season this winter, what stops covid stops the flue even more effective. When measures against covid was enforced this year influenza just died.

As I sit here in the night thinking, I must admit that I'm getting a strange feeling of racing against time.
I'm just not entirely sure that the world as I know it will last until the next ATH in Q4 2021, and I really want to cash out enough money to be able to get the hell out if TSHTF.

How did you not notice that TSHTF already?

Because it hasn't (yet) in my corner of the world, and I usually, based on history, think that it won't. But I'm beginning to hesitate. It very much depends on the actions of the government in the coming years.

Does it, really?
I am starting to believe that we are moving to a bit more chaotic world in the interim.
Maybe something similar to a "Snow crash" world with many small jurisdictions.
It could be different in Europe, but in US the gap (in almost everything) between some places is vast and expanding.
Additionally SHTF situation and "cashing out enough money" kind of contradict each other.
What is money then? If money is unaffected, then it is hardly the dire situation.
If money is affected, then the question is-which assets (if any) you want to hold?
Not an easy answer.

Not all the world is affected at the same level, and the Scandinavian countries are usually not as much affected as many other countries are.

i still think major currencies will be used in a shithitting situation, besides I'm talking about having money BEFORE TSHTF.

Well, if it is not gonna last (as you know it) even until Q4 2021... Why the need to cash out for? What is your EXIT-PLAN?

Well, all the neighboring countries are pretty stable, so all I have to do is go across the bridge to Denmark,I don't really need any elaborate exit plan.
But the Swedish politicians and elite seems to have awaken abruptly recently, since the violence spread into the middle class and upper class areas.
Now everybody is talking about and planning for stricter laws, even deporting foreigners before they have committed any crime, just because they belong to a certain group or clan.
Repatriating those who are not real refugees is also on the table. Things are moving fast here right now, and it almost happened overnight. So there still is a chance to stop the balkanization of Sweden.

Peak bull run can’t come soon enough for me. I’d be happy to be on an island on my own, free from nonsense, draconian, communist type ruling that we seem to be living under atm. Nobody will be forcing me to wear a mask to go in a shop once we make bank.

There is no island in the world that is not controlled by a national government.

Edit: However, I lived briefly on a remote atoll in French Polynesia and there were very few rules where I lived, breaking up hermit crabs to put on a fishing line to catch my dinner. No Internet, solar for electricity, rain for water. Very simple, nobody to enforce any "laws" other than nature.

"No internet" doesn't really work for a bitcoiner.

September Sideways...

I don't get it.
What are those numbers?
How can 2018 end on 6600ish and 2019 start on 10000 and 2019 end on 8200ish and 2000 start on 11000ish?

Notice the chart shows months 8 and 9, as denoted by the "8" and "9" on the bottom of the chart.

I see, thanks. Putting that on the chart would help a lot.

Those posts/deletions do not belong to THIS thread. It is just the one that BSVtard opened about flagging a lot of people (corrupted cap wearers, etc), that probably got nuked.

Nothing to see here.

Oh, I see, well then, disregard earlier message, carry on please.

don't mind me just preserving the ancient scrolls

Yeah, what's going on?
I woke up to a small heart attack believing that my account was hacked when I had a message in my in basket from bitcointalk about a deleted message, I haven't been posting lately so I was sure someone had hijacked my account. But it turns out that it was an ancient post, must be more than a year ago, I hardly remember the context and I had totally forgotten it, but I think it had to do with someone putting everybody on ignore and annoying people.
Is somebody trawling thru old posts and reporting them? very unWO if so.
Anyhow here it is, preserving the ancient scrolls as it is said.

I sense a storm coming our way, moving from north to south.
Should we name it ?

Hurricane Bearolina

Good one.

Is it really a hurrycane or just a dropical storm?

EDIT:
my take:

dropical storm Bigbart

I am thinking that the severity of our current storm is somehow related in a kind of exacerbated way to some purging of froth that seems to be taking place in the ethereum (and perhaps related) space.  It may be too early to call that dynamic, and surely there are likely a decent number of 14 year old snot-nosed investors in ethereum, defi, yield farming et al that deserved to be purged to zero or somewhere in the vicinity of zero and to verify if they are still committed to such projects after a wee bit of froth purging.  Hard to know, exactly.

Valid option, imho.
VitalikCoin is dumping even harder, like many other Alts. Don't know how much the defi crap is dumping at the time.

EDIT:
I have to do some cleaning now, pasteurize some raw milk, transform some of it into a caffè latte and try fresh baked cookies with weed.
So in case they're too intensive and i won't show no more today  Grin have a nice evening, do yourself something good  Cool

"pasteurize some raw milk" You have a cow in the garage?

we will climb back to $11k soonish. and then it is decision time. we will either go through this barrier and all is good or we will get rejected. if we get rejected we will see 9k and in worst case 8k, but that is the very bearish case. I want to accumulate more, that is why I am even considering those scenarios..

Worst case $8k? Have you even confirmed your math and science facts? We will be hitting $3k again for certain. Everyone's confirmed it.

Confirmed.
