I never understood that, either you eat normally, or you don't eat meat, in witch case you are vegetarian. If you are someone who wishes to be a vegetarian but can't hack it, you are just a normal eater, not a "flexitarian". And right now my air fryer is signalling that my "Lunna melle" is ready. Since I bought that thing I make everything in it, I even heat lasagna in it. It's perfect for everything I used to put in the micro or on the frying pan. And there is like, almost, no cleaning. Was talking to a surgeon dude the other day, and he brought up an interesting per-capita point about India having a relatively low death rate. Even in the densest slums packed with over 2 million people, the death rate is pretty low. Why ? It's because they are all on HCQ over there for anti-malaria purposes. They make the stuff in India, so it's passed out like candy at $0.02 a pill. Just need one dose a week. HCQ, coupled with Zinc, has been proven to reduce cytokine storm severity, providing prophylactic capability against severe COVID-19 infection. Called my doctor, after talking to surgeon dude, asking for HCQ as prophylaxis, and doctors are largely refusing to fill orders for it in the US, for, reasons. Everything is dumb. There is some weird shit going on in Sweden as well The death rate is suddenly dropping for no apparent reason.  Sweden has this weird delayed reporting system where they keep adding to the death toll of a day over several weeks. So their curve is always looking like the death toll is dropping, and is then adjusted upwards later. Yes, I'm aware of the lag, but I don't think it's this big, guess we will know in a months time. |

What I don't understand is why Trump didn't immediately switch to Gab or Parler when he became president. All his followers would have switched too, and all his opponents and all of MSM would have had to switch too.
It would have made it an immediate success and a serious, uncensored, threat to twitter.
Parler is no different. Parler is a US corporation, and as such has to abide by the same laws and regulations. There absolutely is "censorship" on Parler. They remove posts, ban users, etc. who violate their terms&conditions. Yes, well of course they have rules, everybody does, but Parler only have what you might call "skeleton rules" but if you brake those, you will of course be punished. But they are neutral, and don't kick people out for having the "wrong" ideas. "Wrong" actually is "harmful", "wrong" opinions that are not harmful are not censored. And in that sense all the MS social media also have skelleton rules. I mean you can still spread anti-vax shit there. And people do actually believe that shit causing huge economic damage - and driving up the price of my health insurance and making it take longer till the bars and clubs reopen. Today i suffered from acute hearing loss, everything sounded dull but some sounds like claps and low rumbles were uncomfortably loud, almost painful, at least irritating, accompanied by the constant feel of a state of passing out the very next moment. I promised to myself that if I survive covid (with or without a vaccine), I would do some traveling this year, regardless of btc price.
I want to go to Rome this summer. Hoping my wife gets a little better than she is now. It has been almost a year since she was hospitalized for covid. She has finally shown improvement Since October. I think we will get vaccines this spring and take the trip. Why would you need vaccines if you already had it? .......... There is the rub.. My wife and I had "it" Dec 31 2019 to Jan 2020 she was sick longer. So no covid tests. But lots of other tests. When we recovered they were not giving covid test yet. So while we tested negative for everything they tested by the time they had effective covid tests we were not sick. By the time they had the antibody test it was six months after we got sick. So we got a negative which is common. So we think it was covid it fit all the check lists for covid. We did not test positive for 3 types of flu. We had most symptoms . But for we know we had "WTF virus do you have virus". So while I don't want to vaccinate for this I will. And since my wife lungs are still subject to getting infected again. I will most likely want her to get the shot after I take it. Yeah that's pretty common. Immunity you get from being sick only lasts about 3 months. My friend had covid and she had no antibodies days after the first negative test so I suspect some peeps don't develop natural immunity at all. No, having had an infection gives better and broader immunity then a vaccination, Antibodies are typically only detectable for some three months or so but there are other parts of the immune system that acts as a memory, and starts to produce new antibodies when needed. Last I read was that immunity lasts for at least a year, probably longer, but we will have to wait for that. So, you're trying to say vaccines only work for less than a year? We don't know yet how long the covid vaccines will work, we will just have to wait and see. As to other vaccines, for other infections, it varies wildly. Smallpox lasts for several decades, but with a lower potency as time goes by, Tetanus should be renewed every 10 to 20 years, depending on how many shots you had as a kid, influenza only lasts for a couple of years and so on. |
