The British are perfectly civil provided one knows one's place.

When I invite personages to dine with me should it prove that they did not attract the correct schooling, their table privileges are immediately rescinded and they are sent to the kitchen to peel potARtoes before being firmly propelled on to the cobbles by a riding boot in the posterior.

One has roving working classes under the table removing the excretions of my guests as they emerge and placing them in a (monogrammed) bucket. Every Christmas Eve these troglodytes are permitted to address the chief of my housekeeping staff with their complaints.

From under the table. And only in writing. And none of them can write.

All this in a bus stop?

Does it mean "justice requires weapons"?  If so, it should be "armas".

I don't think arma is a first declension noun.  I'm pretty sure it would follow the same declension (2nd) as bellum in the plural form (one of the only declensions I remember well from high school Latin)
The accusative pl. would be 'bella'.  I'm pretty sure the motto is fine the way it is.  I mean if I was a betting man...  Wink

You're right, xhomerx10 and Arriemoller. I stand corrected.

It is actually a plural-only noun, neuter gender, second declension.

Romanes eunt domus?

Does it mean "justice requires weapons"?  If so, it should be "armas".

It has been checked with a professor in latin at the university of Lund.
So I'm pretty sure it's correct.

EDIT: Yes it means "justice requires arms".

EDIT again: I'm starting to second guess my English, should it be "checked by a professor?
Is it "professor of latin?

I guess this is the decade we had been waiting for.

It’s going to be the 1920s all over again.

Hyperinflation and the beginning of Grossdeutschland?

Come on WO,s I can still continue with this page.

Aaaalright:

Our Raclette Grill died today. After 20 seconds smoke came out and then the main fuse of the house blew.
After getting the lights on again, we had cold dishes (chopped) with white bread and patties and slices of sausage fried in the pan (meh).

Karma.

Since it's a new year and all I wish everybody (even makrospex )  A Happy New Year.
And since everybody loves cute cats, I'm posting a cat picture to go with that.

Got the artwork for my pin/cufflinks/etc based on XhomerX's design of my crest today.

I wanted it 15 mm high, but the smallest they could do was 19mm.
Some changes need to be done, the trigger must be attached to the crossbow and the scale is not perfect, and the frame should be protruding, not recessed.

Here's the final artwork

And below is another artist's rendering of the whole thing including helmet etc.

Here's the finished product, not happy with the trigger, will have to talk to the guys about that on monday.
Sorry about the bad photo, it's almost impossible to get a good photo with my mobile.

The halvening can't be priced in. If the halvening is priced in, is the next halvening priced in too? How about the next 25 halvenings? It's impossible to price in halvenings. The halvening is like a change in physics.

One imaginary merit for that, (saving my last real one for someone who really needs it.)

not using any adblock for quite some time, so not sure about that.

I can't even imagine myself browsing for more than a minute without having ublock on. (not saying adblock, adblock bought by google. Name of the game is ublock now)

Everytime I reinstall my OS, it is the first thing I install after chrome.

Content providers fucking ruined everything.

Ads are the reason I quit watching TV 15 years ago. I don't want the same shit on my internet.

True, it makes life very easy. it might sound weird but that's why i am not using it anymore. could be flawed observation or it just me but it helps me to stop spending too much time on youtube.

It's my birthday.

Arey Jiyo Lala  Grin Happy birthday

Happy birthday! May the force be with you.

Thank you heslo and somac, Fuck you makrospex.

huh?
WTF?!
We all three said the same: Set it to zero.
 Huh
You didn't spoon feed him and were late with the details  Roll Eyes

Alright, i see...
I typed my reply in a hurry while the other two WOs were posting already.

EDIT: Backread the thread now and it obviously was the step-by-step google selfhelp instructions from me that set him up.
However, that's how the pro's do it  Grin

If you don't want to help that's fine, but in that case, just don't reply.
Using your precious time to mock me for asking instead of using the same time to answer my question is an asshole move in my book.
I know very little about computers and need to bee spoon fed to get it right, I don't know what I'm doing and really don't want to do something wrong. I can't tell if a online tutorial is correct or not, but I do trust the people in here, that's why I ask. If you knew of any good tutorial, why didn't you direct me to it instead of being a dick?
I don't really see people saying "google it" whenever someone asks about something non computer related so I'm assuming that it's just you computer nerds that have that special asshole gene.

How to win friends and influence people by Arriemoller... read above.     Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm sure maskorpex just wanted to help him, but at that moment he didn't have time.
It also irritates me when someone tells me to look for the solution on YouTube or Google. Wink

He had time to write this.

"OK, here we go:

1. Open google in a browser.
2. type "how to disable superfetch" (omitting the quotes), followed by your windows version
3. hit enter
4. read the first few linked articles and follow the tutorial(s)
5. reboot Grin"

Looks to me like he gave all the info that was necessary, I just highlighted #2 and right clicked search and every link gave a step by step. What more can you want?

Having the keywords (also called tags) is the most important parts of finding something and that is what he gave you.He also went to the effort of telling you how to use those keywords.

I think you are not understanding this.

Teach a man to fish.

No, you don't understand, I didn't ask for directions to a manual, I asked how to do it.
If you ask me how to change tires, I guess you would be pretty irritated if I gave you a lesson on how to google "change tires" instead of just answering your question
If someone doesn't want to answer my question, then just don't answer.
