Bob is still going strong
The thread has it's mojo back
All is well in here

Just popped in to say hi and discovered that Bob is leaving us, makes me vary sad, I will miss him a lot.
I think I might post a haiku tomorrow and then take a short break from this thread.
It doesn't feel like it used to, don't know why.
Maybe things will have changed in a month or two, maybe we just need some upwards movement, or maybe the thread has lost its mojo, I guess time will tell.

Until tomorrow.

An interesting graph showing dead per day in Sweden 2015-2019 and 2020 The green line shows 2015-2019 and the purple 2020.
It seems that we have a hump for about two months and then a sharp drop, a possible explanation could be that the vulnerable, that would normally die evenly over the year, instead perished during those two months and those left are the more viable part of the population.

Edit: March 1st to June 18th if you couldn't figur that out by yourselves.

Shoo shoo... run along.... Notice that I have vegeta behind me on this one....

Dude. You're gayer than I am sometimes. And that's really REALLY difficult to accomplish.

Found gay JJG on a Swedish bronze age rock carving (in the middle if there was any doubt).

Remember when I told you about the real reason why Sweden didn't lock down?
Well, now a newspaper finally wrote about it.

I remember that we established it wasn't the real reason.

I remember no such ting, and it would not be true anyway.

Hi guys

long time no see. Hope everybody is well, I will not try and catch up, have read the last couple of pages tho.
I have been down the rabbit hole of power tools, I decided to give the battery powered ones a try now that batteries have improved, I hated the older type batteries that would die on you in like a year.
I ended up buying some Makita copies from China and some third party high capacity batteries and a knock of double charger. All for a third or less of the price of the original.
I also bought some rather unexpensive stuff named Meec, from a local chain that's supposed to be good. And now I'm working on building a converter so I can use the Makita batteries in those (Meec) tools.
A mans got to have a hobby.

Ibian, be nice.
You can't blame every individual of a whole (artificial) group for that groups collective actions.
And I also think that the boomers of Scandinavia started raising taxes before the boomers of north America. Besides, being born in 1961 and thus a boomer I must say that I was born in to a system already in place. I never voted for higher taxes, I always voted for lower taxes.
And I don't like the runaway welfare state we have in Scandinavia, and never has.
I never claimed to be nice.

I know, that's why I'm urging you to be nice.
I know I can be hard sometimes when it comes to politics, but that's never personal. I would not have any trouble having a beer with any of my political opponents after a hard debate. But then again, I used to be involved in local politics and am used to that, some people in here might not. (looks at Hairy and smiles).

There's a Swedish saying, "It costs nothing to be polite, but it pays of well". (In a somewhat loose translation).
Are you going to urge the boomers to be nice or not? Let's just get that cleared up.

No, I think the boomers in here are pretty nice already.

Very nice news:

ETC Group to launch bitcoin ETP on Deutsche Boerse

Quote
ETC Group is set to list the first cryptocurrency exchange-traded product (ETP) on Xetra via white label platform HANetf.

The BTCetc Bitcoin Exchange Traded Crypto (BTCE) is set to launch on Xetra later this month after receiving approval from BaFin, the German financial regulator.

Physically-backed, BTCE tracks the price of bitcoin and has a total expense ratio (TER) of 2%.

Trading bitcoin through an ETP structure removes the technical challenges associated with cryptocurrency such as setting up a wallet or trading or unregulated exchanges.

It also removes the need to manage cryptographic keys or engage with blockchain technology.

Soon available in Germany, Austria, Italy and UK.

The Germans are probably the last country on the planet who would mass adapt Bitcoin. Technology wise we are sooo waaay behind. I am German an living here.

I mean, I pay 55€ a month for 11GB of mobile data package. I was shocked when I visit Thailand and got a unlimited data plan for 6€ a month. I asked twice if there is some setback because we here in Germany dont know unlimited mobile data, unless you pay 3 digits. We are also now the leading country in the world in terms of tax. The Germans really proud of this. You cant see anybody protesting for anything related to our country. Instead they protesting for Floyd Cheesy
Really? My mobile phone bill is about 30 eur a month and that includes unlimited surf, I hardly make any calls though, just surfing. (In Sweden that is).

Edit: sorry, typo, I ment 30 eur.

What are your predictions for BTC to reach all time high? Usually it takes a year time to reach there after the halving but I am willing to hear your predictions Smiley What will be the ATH price this time, any idea??

100000+ USD by late november or december 2021.

Why the dumping, my dudes? I thought we were going to cross 10k?

Also the fact that not everyone decided on 0% in the polls is sad to see. Embarrassed  Where art thou, hodlers?

The best, simplest and safest way to accumulate wealth is to hodl.
But there is no point in hodling forever. At some point you have to do something with your money.
And if you manage to sell on or near the top and buy back a year later at the bottom, you have also successfully increased your stash, that you can then keep on hodling.

Government over-reach again. Or perhaps under-reach, depends how they go about it.
As long as it is strictly advisory it's fine. We have those in denmark too and nobody is going to come running if you stand a little too close to someone. Hand sanitizers are in every major store and I never use them, never even got a sideways look for that. Let people choose and things will work out.

Ibian, it's a joke, it says pubic instead of public.
