I wish I had or have bought more coins, but in Hindsight I could have sold or never have kept coins at all.. I’m probably lucky enough just to have what I have in coins considering the real life struggles I have been through where selling coins was probably the right/responsible decision but I did not.. I’ve lived poor AF but never sold my coins to fix my situation.. Even now I still live lower middle class but have been able to get myself into a good enough income to get catching up..
Not selling..
Is refusing to sell coin to pay off debt basically the same as going into debt to buy coin? Kinda the thought process I have been struggling with..
Yes it is, but I prefer to pay of my debts and then get a new loan specifically for bitcoin, it feels purer somehow, and you might get a better deal on a new loan if you are debt free.

I'm living on the countryside, in case you didn't know already Next ox(es) no more than 100m away Who uses oxen in farming in 2021?

So ammonium nitrate is an oxidizer, so you cannot put out an ammonium nitrate/sugar mix that's burning with water or powder or any other fire extinguisher. So how do you put it out?
asking for a friend.
fire blankets Not unless they are magic blankets, you can't suffocate a fire that has it's own oxygen supply.

How long does it stay cool in one of those bottles?
|
|

Another option is cool it below the ignition point. Liquid nitrogen would be a start.
Not a bad idea, he could have a bottle in the garage as a special fire extinguisher.

Do what the fire department does with a burning magnesium engine block... keep it from spreading and let it burn itself out. Too large an amount.. GTFO before it goes Beirut or Texas City. Yeah, hat's what we hypothetically did too, next time it might be a good idea to divide the big batch into smaller batches and store them safely. Mmm a texas bbq sausage and a glass of milk, now I will sleep like a slightly drunk baby.

Is this what trying water did? I'll ask my friend later, but that looks like water on burning oil, at least you can put that out by just putting a lid on it, happened to friend of mine who forgot the Bearnaise sauce on the stove. I was going to suggest throwing a damp towel over your "friends" fire, but WTF do I know? Muppet labs would give better advice. Since the saltpeter is an oxidizer you can't suffocate the fire, it has it's own oxygen supply. Would fighting fire with fire work? I don't see how. Anyhow, its time for a sausage and then to bed. Good night everybody.

Arrie... Arrie... your friend shouldn't play with fire if he doesn't know what he's doing (I assume it's a he).
No dount he will give up playing with fire and try the EMP thing next week. Actually, the same friend was changing a light switch this summer, he is also a lazy fuck who decided to try to change the switch without turning of the main switch. And while the cable ends was bare he stumbled, and to regain balance put his hand on the wall, where the cables were sticking out, he still can't feel touch normally on a small part of his hand.

He knows what he is doing, but hypothetically he might want to make a big batch of 50/50 to make smoke grenades, in order to re-live his childhood when he and his friends went down to the grocery store and bought saltpeter and sugar and mixed it and then filled an empty bottle, lit it and watched in awe the giant cloud of smoke. Again, hypothetically, that big batch might accidentally catch fire and engulf two/three blocks in thick smoke. If that where to happen, how would you stop it? Never mind.

Closing in so, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Thank you for the year that was, and cheers to the year to come.

plenty of options.
An EMP would be the choice, but I like it messy. I always recall the slingshot I had as a kid, whenever I see a drone flying low on a beach. Perhaps the coming summer I'll even buy one and carry it with me. Throwing stones manually at them does not work very well. I didn't mention EMP, because i didn't know if it's even possible without nucular materials. Once i read about DIY building an EMP from a microwave, but i thought that was a hoax. Also, afaik EMP spread spherical, so you would take out your own electric circuits as well. Certainly have to dig into that topic a little deeper. I'm fed up shoveling show, it's the fourth day in a row now The EMP from a microwave has been debunked. There is a youtube video with a insane guy with an even insaner dialect that tried it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWF-2Z508j8

See the price dropping. Moved some FedBux into Gemini and placed a dip order for $250 @ $28,000. Let's see what happens.
Huh. Order got filled. Feeling sassy and placing another degenerate dip order for $250 @ $28,250 and see if I get filled again. I like getting filled with dip.
a wild bore
What on earth is that thing?
