Sorry man, i didnt read that well, i just had a quick view into the rules, didnt read them all properly. Who is now the maintainer of this contest? Directbet/truegrades/u?

As you can see in the OP, FrueGreads and I are managing this event, and DirectBet is sponsoring it.

I don't think game is officially started. They stated that they will open a new thread for tips.

Yes, the competition hasn't started yet (it starts tomorrow), but the new thread was already created (though it is locked until the competition starts):

The competition thread has been created, and can be reached through the following link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159253. The thread will remain locked until the competition starts tomorrow.

We've tried to clarify a few of the rules a bit more, and encourage all the participants to re-read them, and post any doubts in this thread.

Name: frank0929
Coin address: 1Lx8hwTsB5Ha248qV2h8aZFJ5MetwRkDJN
Bankroll for the competition: 0.1BTC

Ah, yes; some users with active tipster threads on the forum have been contacted to join the competition - welcome aboard frank0929. Smiley

Please make sure to read all the rules, and let us know if you have any questions.

Rules has been change now only senior or above who can joined this competition. Sadly i cant joined, good luck who is be participant this competition

Well, initially, we were only planning on having 20 participants but, since we've reached and exceeded that limit fairly quickly, decided to change that rule to allow in a few more people. As such, Senior Members and above can still join, as you pointed out, but so can anyone else that has been keeping a tipster thread in the forum these last few months. Other than that, we'll hopefully be repeating these events on a regular basis, and so, you can join them then. Smiley

tomorrow competition will started and when will finished or ended ?

The competition will last for a month, and end at noon (UTC), September 22.
1605  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 22, 2015, 09:10:06 AM
when you hold a game and give a gift like this again OP? give me hope to win: D

The competition starts tomorrow, and will go on for a month; assuming everything goes well, we will then look into making this a recurrent event, hopefully running every month. Smiley

However, you can still enter the current event (even though we're sort of over the limit of allowed participants already) if you have been keeping a tipster thread in the forum (or are a Senior Member or above).
1606  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 22, 2015, 08:31:37 AM
Do we need to post our bets in this topic before they are playing or after game is done???

It is really confusing to me at this point.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Joust

Ideally, participants would always make a post in the competition thread with the bet ID (following the format in the OP) as soon as possible, after the bet was placed in the site - not only in the interest of transparency, but also to keep the competition interesting for those following it (and also, to allow them to follow the tips).

Also, just to clarify, we will create (and announce) a new thread later on today for the purpose of the participants posting their bets - that won't be done in this thread.
1607  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 22, 2015, 07:52:59 AM
What it's live tomorrow? I thought you wrote next Sunday at first?  Cool The Game of Tips is near.
I don't see it say tomorrow anywhere. Shows Sunday only in the post right above you. I might be interested. Can you explain about the 5% rule a little more ?

Yes, the competition starts this Sunday (which, depending on your time zone, is already tomorrow).

The 5% rule refers to the Betting Rule 6 from the OP, although the recent changes also affect Betting Rule 5. The main purpose of these rules is to decrease the impact luck can have in the competition.

As such, according to Rule 6, when you place a bet that exceeds 5% of your current bankroll, for the purpose of the competition, we will register the bet as if it had been made with the maximum of 5% of your current bankroll, and your winnings will be adjusted accordingly. So, for example, if your current bankroll is 0.1 BTC, and you place and win a bet of 0.01 BTC (10% of your bankroll) at odds of 2, instead of the leaderboard registering you as having won those 0.02 BTC from the bet, it will show you as having won only 0.01 BTC (as if you had made a bet with only 5% of your bankroll).

Similarly, Betting Rule 5 states that the maximum odd a bet can have for the purpose of the competition is 10 - anything higher, say 10.5, will be rounded down to 10, and your winnings calculated as if the bet had been placed at those odds.

I hope that helps; but feel free to share any doubts that still remain.

So far so good, Need 10 more and the competition will start. Anyway i have make parlay match again with little bet amount check this out http://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1GX4CUqDtDhPB172H5gdL9mbCCpDHKKbAA

Congratulations on another great winning bet. Smiley

By the way, don't you want to enter in the competition as well? You have demonstrated an interest in doing so a few times already, but haven't actually made the required registration post yet.
1609  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 19, 2015, 08:09:59 PM
Wow already 10 participants,10 left and we can even start the damn show Smiley too bad we need to wait until september Sad
but looks good Smiley i wish the prizes could increase

Actually, we might start the competition sooner, if we get to 20 participants before September, and assuming those who registered before that update to the rules agree.

In relation to the prizes, you have to take into consideration that there is no minimum amount you have to risk in order to enter and potentially win the competition. Further, we tried to set everything up in a way that interferes as little as possible with what a punter would normally be doing, so this is a nice extra, on top of your regular winning bets. And, if everything goes well with this first event, hopefully we will get even better prizes for you guys. Smiley
1610  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 19, 2015, 07:19:34 PM
Thanks man! Last question: using always the same address is to have an easy computation on winning bets. Can I use the same address for other bets that I'll not list for the competition?
In little and few words: the address must be used only for this competition?

Just to know if I need to create a new address  Smiley

Whenever you use that address for a bet payout on the site, that bet will be associated with you, and so, entered into the competition. Other than that, you can use that same address elsewhere without any problem.

I would prefer to bet on another site, if we had free choice of Betting site for the competition I could enter  Undecided

Well, the only sponsor we have is DirectBet, so it makes sense to use them for this competition.

Do you have any idea how GoldenTowns or PipsTycoon can pay their user if all of them gain profit ? Few people said these are scam, but i'm not sure
Also, i heard similar site such as GoldenCows become scam in the end Sad

Well, I assume, maybe incorrectly, that these games make money from the player's investments - players invest in an effort to get the upper hand over each other but, obviously, by the nature of these games, not everyone succeeds. Now, I've also seen some claims that these games are scams (and at least some questionable practices do take place), but never seen a lot of evidence to back it up - granted, I haven't really looked very far because, to be honest, I have absolutely no intention of ever depositing any money in them; I play them only because they don't take a lot of time, are somewhat interesting, and allow me to get some extra BTC.
1612  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 19, 2015, 08:04:49 AM
Wow, really nice, i have see only now directbet sponsored this competition.

I have understand good, id open to all, not only for tipster that have a thread?

That is correct; the competition is open to everyone. However, as this first competition has a limit of 20 participants, we will give priority to those who have been active tipsters in the forum, if they choose to enter.
1613  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 19, 2015, 07:15:00 AM
anyone know when this competition ended? i want to know more detail this competition

Hmm, the competition hasn't started yet - we're currently in the registration period, which will last until the end of this month. After this, and assuming we have a good number of participants by then, the competition will start, and go on for one month.

Please let us know if there are any other details you would like explained.

EDIT: thanks Dannie; that is correct.

1615  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any game site to earn bitcoin? on: August 19, 2015, 02:06:20 AM
I know these games but they need so many time. Just I want to play only small game maybe ten or twenty minutes later I want to earn some satoshies.
You know small flash games. I want like these small games.

Hmm, depending on your play style, it's true that GoldenTowns can take up a lot of time, but that doesn't really seem to be the case for PipsTycoon. I mean, the more assets you have, and the more companies you're managing, the more time it will take to play, of course - but, to give a personal example, so far I've been spending maybe 2 minutes a day playing it (log in, see how much energy I need to work, buy energy, and work), and making maybe about $0.50 a day (well, now, as I've just bought clothes; I was making 30 - 40 cents a day before, while naked and just buying food). 1617  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 18, 2015, 11:41:31 PM
A small update on the rules: Entry Rule 6, which deals with players being allowed to re-enter the tournament during the first week, has been extended by 4 days. So, you now have 10 days to re-enter the tournament.
1618  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 18, 2015, 11:26:35 PM
Good to see this competition will sponsored by Directbet.eu, What is the minimum bankroll? i would like to join but i don't have much money in my wallet.
Btw i have make parlay match lastnight and it was win http://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=13Cq2BWknDi6Ft8qLLYyE14Dyber6vSMRs Do this bet qualify to enter?

Yes, that bet would qualify - both parlays and even live bets count. By the way, congratulations on your win. Grin

In relation to the bankroll, there is no minimum amount requirement - you can use any amount you feel comfortable with.

EDIT: when you are ready to join the competition, please make a post with your username, coin address, and your bankroll, as detailed in the OP, Entry Rule 2.
1619  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Tipster Competition - 1 BTC in PRIZES - Entries now Available!!! on: August 18, 2015, 11:05:29 PM
So there is no minimum for the betids ? And any reason to even have a max cap on the number of participants as there would be no problem with having more than 20 participants.

Well, we thought it would be best to have a lower participant limit initially, as this is the first time we're organizing this competition - but, if everything goes well, future events should have a much higher participant limit, and hopefully, even better prizes. Smiley

In relation to your first question, I assume you're asking if there is a minimum number of bets you have to place? If so, yes, you must place at least 20 bets during the competition in order to qualify for prizes, as you can see in the OP, Betting Rule 7.
1620  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] My own Steam account (500+ games, worth 5k$) on: August 18, 2015, 05:59:32 AM
Hi!
I want to sell my steam account with over 500 games and 200 DLCs. It was registered back in 2008, no bans from that time.

Steam Calculator: https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561198003161150/?cc=us

I want to have 3BTC, but i'm open to offers.
PM me, then add me on skype: gleb_best1

Hmm, I'm under the impression that Steam accounts are easy to recover, given that the original owner will have the email address used while registering the account, and just about every detail of the transactions made so far - so this seems like a risky deal. But, in the event that you do find someone interested in trading with you, follow el kaka22's advice and ask a trusted forum member to escrow the deal.
