Pretty sure they got rid of those a year or two (maybe longer) ago. RIP
Well, I can't speak from experience but, according to the article from TechInAsia 1, the real used panties vending machines (and shops) disappeared over a decade ago; however, it seems the "super used kakou" panties (that is, panties manufactured to appear used) can still be found in sex shops, and going by the video I posted above, sometimes hidden within other types of shops. But, of course, while those might be harder to find in physical shops nowadays, their online counterparts seem to be doing well. 1 - https://www.techinasia.com/japan-used-panty-vending-machines-fact-fiction (from December, 2014)

Mitchełł, would you like me to take over? I should be able to update it on a daily basis / every few days, at least (starting this weekend).

u9y42 <---- You are a great help. I have been looking through a number of the posts on here and you have been a great help in the past with other people, as well as myself for I am learning from a number of your posts. I am hoping to become a great part of this community.
Thanks knightkon. Be sure to vote for me as the most helpful forum member at the year end poll! (I'm kidding, though I think someone actually made one such thread last year ) Let us know if we can help with anything else.

Thank you for the assistance. Now can someone please tell me what I should do here?
I suppose you'll both have to wait for the escrow now - monbux is still online, and should answer soon, detailing what each party must do to complete the transaction. I assume that will mean something along the lines of shanerc563 providing the account details to monbux, for it to be held as collateral, and then, you sending the BTC to either monbux, or shanerc563 directly (as soon as monbux confirms the account is secure).

I'm okay with any escrow. Haven't used any on here yet, so not sure where to look.
I would like to receive .01 Will return .0125 within 48 hours.
Try choosing someone from the list in the following thread, for example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 - at least monbux and Tomatocage seem to be online at the moment (from the current top 5 list). EDIT: yes, ramkumar was possibly just trolling, but it doesn't hurt to point it out (just in case someone takes it literally).

PM me with collateral.
You mean, he should PM a trusted escrow with the collateral, right? That should always be the case with anyone, for safety's sake, but especially pertinent after looking through your trust ratings.

My account is almost 6 months old in this forum and still my rank status is newbee..can anyone please explain when will i become full member and how the activity thing increases? :/
only old account is not enough to rank higher, as others explained you need to be active on forum and make posts during different activity periods, I have checked your potential activity and its 56 so if you make enough posts your activity will increase to 56 and your rank will changed to member, to rank up further be active and make posts on forum. Hmm, are you sure about his potential activity and Member status? First, isn't the Member rank given only to those with 60 or more posts? Then, I think dukeneptun got it right, and Ceizer54's maximum potential activity is 42, as he posted in no more than 3 different two week periods - he posted on the 31st of March, but did so after the start of a new period (which I assume starts sometime during the morning, or early afternoon by now).

i think you should never check reddit and subreddits like gonewild and its family, because it would blow your mind how many similar weird stuff is going on there.
if i am not mistaken there is a sub named /r/usedpanties or like that which is doing the same thing #facepalm
And he should never, ever, check Craigslist. Anyway, in Japan, you can apparently still get panties (and maybe used panties as well, somewhere) out of vending machines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkMGhKGp--Y - but this has mostly moved online now, it seems, and isn't restricted to underwear: Warning! Skip the following sentence if you want to keep that last smidgen of your faith in humanity. For customers who purchase used clothing items, the site’s number-one seller offers some disgusting add-ons: a vial of spit for 2,000 yen (US$18.50), a 500ml bottle of urine for 3,000 yen (US$28), and feces – shipped in a pink tupperware container – for the same price as the “number one.”

Sorry, but what do you mean "not so good account"?
I suppose he means: an account that might not have a great post history (as in, the post quality might be poor, making it harder to use in joining signature campaigns), might have been banned in the past (so, potentially incurring in greater penalties if it gets banned again), and if you have no escrow to check it for you, perhaps with negative trust as well.

An avid chess player cannot beat top-tier chess software, which is free. Stockfish has a rating of 3000+ and the top player in the world plays at a rating of ~2800
I think that has been mentioned about a million times already, in this thread alone. At any rate, even if the general idea is right, comparing the rating of a computer chess program with a human player directly doesn't tend to work very well, due to the way ratings are calculated 1 - basically, there aren't enough high profile computer versus human matches for that to provide very accurate information by itself (though, again, it's undisputed that computer engines can be much stronger than human players). 1 - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess_engine#Comparisons, below the engine's table.

Earn does not equal free. Earn means you've given something for the payment.
There is NO way to earn free bitcoin.
You must spend time, money, or effort to get your bitcoin...
well gift or giveaway are considered real free earning, in any sense, no time or money are involved to acquire those amount everything else that require very little and give you big amount of coins can be considered free too Pretty much - Possum577's point seemed somewhat of a meaningless distinction to make here, when any way to acquire BTC (or just about anything else, really) will require users to spend a minimum amount of time and effort (even if just to provide a Bitcoin address for a giveaway, as you suggested), and whether or not someone considers them free may depend only on how much time/effort/whatever they are willing to spend for it - some consider faucet rewards free and worthwhile; some many others consider them a waste of time and money (money that could more easily be acquired elsewhere).
By the way, AnimeFanJohnLee, there is an online game you might want to try out: PipsTycoon - it's still in Beta (so, expect a lot of bugs), but it allows you to withdraw the money you make in-game to real currency (through several means, including Bitcoin). Now, it won't give you anywhere near the amounts of BTC you're looking for, but it's a nice extra (for me at least; I'm currently making about $0.80 a day), and it requires almost no time to play (unless you have started / manage a lot of companies).

If op signs a message with an old quoted address stating the detailed loan terms and information, the lender can send the message to a forum administrator to stop any account recovery attempts.
I still doubt that it is worth lending though, as the collateral needs to worth 10% more than loan value.
Yes, I suppose you're right; the admins should be able to stop any such attempts if needed, by directly resetting the account's password and email. This should allow cryptopaths to still access his account and perform whatever business he needs, even if it won't provide privacy; although, the terms can be rearranged so there would be no need to provide access information to the lender, relying only on the admins to transfer the account in case of default. Still, I imagine they might be somewhat reluctant to get involved like this - have there been any cases where they have intervened in this fashion? As for the value of the collateral itself, I have no idea; I still remember Hero Member accounts being worth more than 1 BTC, but I guess that has changed a lot since.

Yes I can put it as collateral however in that time can I still access my account as I have some things I would also like to get done. Also if I put my account as collateral will the person holding it be able to read my private messages and alter my stuff in any way?
Yes, of course, the person holding the account will be able to read through your private information and change things 1; however, you won't, because your account would have no value as collateral if you could access, and potentially recover it, unilaterally. 1 - likely password and email, in order to secure the account.

Have you sent a fee with it?
If not, you probably have to wait a few more hours.
Yes, he did, as you can see in the link he posted 1 - transaction details, including fee used (0.0001 BTC), are shown. Could it be the case that there are other unconfirmed transactions still pending (which the funds you used here depend on)? 1 - https://blockchain.info/tx-index/4b19a80b97bafacd02b67a781b146a832c319328212ec80f18be26252a66725dEDIT: looking at the input addresses, that doesn't seem to be the case either. EDIT2: yes, definitely not the case; I just noticed blockchain.info adds a warning after "Estimated Confirmation Time", clearly stating it if a transaction spends an input which is unconfirmed.

The racial tension is being perpetuated by the uninformed public, which really does not help. Similar to the tensions between those of Asian origin (Pakistan, India) between native Englishmen over here in the UK, it seems that whenever someone of the majority does anything negative towards the minority the race card is always pulled before anyone really looks at both sides of the story. In order to have all of this calm down, I believe that the stupid racial posts that you see on sites such as Facebook and Twitter must be stopped, as they seem to trick the people seeing them into thinking 'its because he was black', when in reality that is not the case whatsoever. The OP is also doing this, though he is too close minded to see it.
Unfortunately, censuring those posts won't help the uninformed public suddenly become informed - it will only ensure one side of the argument is heard, while the other isn't. Personally, I'd rather see those posts, and the ideas they expose (regardless of how much I might disagree with them, or how fundamentally wrong they might actually be), challenged and defeated in an open, rational debate.

I am glad that I was able to help you.
if possible for me to see what I edit? like on facebook Not possible unfortunately. I'm not sure how Facebook goes about showing edited posts (I very rarely go there) but, for the most part, you're right - users here can't usually see what has been edited in/out of a post (and in fact, as Muhammed Zakir pointed out, you won't even know a post was edited, if it occurred within 10 minutes of posting). However, I think there are a few exceptions to this: I believe Admins might be able to access this information (I'm not sure if there are time limitations to this, but if you're dealing with a scam, it's probably worth the shot to contact them); and some previous versions of posts are often kept in https://bitcointa.lk (just replace the "bitcointalk.org" in a thread's URL with "bitcointa.lk", to access the corresponding thread) - as an example, compare theymos' post in the two following links: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0https://bitcointa.lk/index.php?topic=497545.0 - should lead to: https://bitcointa.lk/threads/recovering-hacked-accounts.272883

Not very surprising. Racial tensions are peaking in the United States. I just hope that things will not get any worse.
Indeed. Following the Virginia shooting a couple of days ago (where the two journalists were killed), and the release of the shooter's manifesto (which basically calls for a race war), white supremacist racist groups (the Northwest Front, the League of the South, the Council of Conservative Citizens) have put out statements claiming they are getting "prepared" for what they see as the coming wave of black-on-white crime - this might get worse before it gets any better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HpG6HHFLtc - "Virginia Shooter’s Manifesto Called For Race War" (06m01s)

Hmm, I was just looking at the campaign spreadsheet, and noticed that only 16 out of 27 of my posts have been counted so far. Now, of course, the first 2 I made shouldn't be considered (and are clearly against the rules stated in the OP), but I don't understand why 9 others were excluded - could you please let me know which posts were excluded and why?
Sure, I'll aim to send you a PM with the posts I didn't count in the next couple hours. I'm a bit busy right now but you should see a PM later today. Thank you guitarplinker.

Sorry guys, but it turns out I won't be able to continue to help manage this event. You will now be left in the capable hands of FrueGreads, and the competition's sponsors, DirectBet. Good luck to all the participants, and make sure to have fun.
