Really?? I got Alexander the Great, not Galdur - I was never that good at math, I guess. Tongue

PS: you could have added 0 as well, galdur.
1463  Other / Off-topic / Re: Chess Board, what is the best configuration of the back row? on: November 14, 2015, 09:46:14 PM
According to the Laws of Chess this is the correct order for a chess board setup.

♖♘♗♕♔♗♘♖
♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙

♟♟♟♟♟♟♟♟
♜♞♝♛♚♝♞♜

Hmm, from Black's perspective? Notice the colors on the pieces (particularly easy to tell on the King).

I have seen the option for this an many apps and video games. Soem people have even set up my chess board in that way and I have hadd to change it in order to put the "knights" and "castle" in the correct place.

I suppose it can be a popular variant, of some sort - but I've honestly never heard of it before. Smiley

EDIT: perhaps, something like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_chess_variants?
1464  Other / Off-topic / Re: Chess Board, what is the best configuration of the back row? on: November 14, 2015, 09:28:42 PM
I was just thinking there are two formations of the chess board.
The one I use is:
♖♘♗♔♕♗♘♖
♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙

♟♟♟♟♟♟♟♟
♜♞♝♛♚♝♞♜

I was thinking of using this for some market research for a gambling low risk application.

Actually, the formation should be (from black's perspective):

♖♘♗♔♕♗♘♖
♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙
        |
        |
        |
        |
♟♟♟♟♟♟♟♟
♜♞♝♚♛♝♞♜

That is, Kings (and Queens) on the same file.

In relation to the poll question, I can't say I've ever seen a configuration with the Knights on the outside - and, to the best of my knowledge, that isn't used in official tournaments.
1465  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit.net withdrawal problem on: November 14, 2015, 08:16:50 PM
I am trying to withdraw ANTI/BTC/1337 from Yobit exchange and it's in processing stage for 2 days now, contacted admin twice, tweeted to them twice and people on chat say they have no problem withdrawing, I know that everything I did is correct, I withdraw before without a problem, now every withdraw I make just go to the processing list, and I end up with 3 stuck withdrawals.

Anyone that can give me the admin ID on this forums or at least help me reach admin, it's not a big withdrawal but I really wanna start staking already.

0.006 BTC
3000 ANTI
5000 1337

This is likely not the best place for this post - try posting in their thread directly, in the Altcoin section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=914975.

Yobit's admin username, by the way, is YoBit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594).

You forgot to change the campaign name here  Grin

Oops. Thanks for pointing it out. Cheesy

Done. I hope I didn't miss anything else.

EDIT:

Also, they pay USD-based, as MD:

$0.10 per post paid in the equivalent value in BTC, currently 0.0004 BTC / Post.
Payments will be issued weekly to all participants via a single transaction that will be posted on this thread.

So they should be listed in the same way, shouldn't they?

[...]

Ah, yes. Sorry, I didn't follow the situation with Magical Dice, and how it got resolved (just looked at their entry in the OP now). Thanks.
1467  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 14, 2015, 07:42:01 PM
A new signature campaign has popped up: The Merkle - it does have a couple of red flags, though: the campaign thread is self-moderated, and the campaign manager, themerkle, refuses to use escrow (and the pay per post is quite low to boot). Tongue

This is what the Simple Table entry should look like:

PNYC|The Merkle|post/weekly|0.0004|0.0004|0.0004|x|x|x|x|20/w|100/w|N|

Code:
[table][tr]

[td][url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1249297.0]The Merkle[/url][/td][td]|[/td]
[td]post/weekly[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]0.0004[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]0.0004[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]0.0004[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]x[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]x[/td][td]|[/td]

[td]20/w[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]100/w[/td][td]|[/td]

[/tr][/table]

And here is the Detailed Information:

you will be managing two leader boards

No, there will only be one leaderboard, with all the participants competing for the top 7 spots.

Later, you will be able to check the leaderboard directly in our sponsor's site, at the following link: https://directbet.eu/Competition.cshtml - at the moment, it is still showing the participants for the previous event, and their results, but that will be updated soon, as we come closer to the start of the competition.

when does the competition start?

As Muttley posted above (and as you can see in the OP of this thread), the competition starts in about a week, on the 16th of November.

Thank you and i have a question ,, are the leaderboard and prizes separate for 100mbtc bankrolls and 1btc+ bankrolls ?

No; regardless of the starting bankroll, participants are competing for the same 7 prizes - the only difference the starting bankroll makes is you can receive 7 times the prize you would normally get, if your bankroll (and bets placed) are greater or equal to 1 BTC (or equivalent amounts in other coins).

I just created my wallet, I guess I have to update my address here, right?

If so, here it is my new address (I will stay with the same bankroll):

(I will deposit as soon as I get to home, I do not like login in to Coinbase from public networks).

Thanks!

Noted; FrueGreads will update that in the list as soon as he is back. Smiley

I make the first bet Cheesy but the competition is not started Cheesy
Sounds good Cheesy

Estoril v Academica , Over/Under 3.5 Goals , Under 3.5 Goals

0.018 BTC @ 1.08

Ok... about this little joke, there is the possibility to use different currencies during the competition? Sometimes for personal purpose I need to exchange the coin... maybe you can add a rule like that?

Hmm, that's not possible right now, of course (you can only use a specific coin at the moment) but, if that suggestion was to be implemented, it would require some time to set up, since, not only would it complicate the inscription process (you would need to provide the addresses for all the coins you intend to use in the competition beforehand), but it would also complicate things for DirectBet - so, at least in the near future, that will likely not be a possibility.

Thanks @u9y42
Yes, I have a doubt. No problem if I bet less than 1% bankroll (3k Doges), since only my other bets = or > this amount will be counted, correct?

Yes, that is correct - those bets (with a stake of less than 1% of the current bankroll) will simply not count towards the competition (although you can still make them, if you want).

I would love to bet using Dogecoin, but I lost all my remaining coins to Atletico de Madrid : (.
Question: What would happen if there are network problems again?, I mean, 1st I use Coinbase so I do not have control over the fees and 2nd, even if I had control over them I would not be willing to pay more in fees than what I am (potentially) going to win. I noticed in the past competition some users where leaving because of that, is not there a workaround? (I mean, other than buying Dogecoin).

Thanks.

Thanks for registering, 98789.

In relation to your question, I believe you can now make the bets directly from within DirectBet1, if you prefer - this should take care of any fee, or network problems.

1 - I'm not entirely sure if that is already possible for this competition however, so let's wait for either FrueGreads or DirectBet to confirm this.
