4181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 30, 2013, 12:58:18 PM
yeah but preordes were placed and...

AVALON chips, clones - clients are doomed
90% bfl customers are doomed
75% KNC miners will be not profitable for sure
october bitfury units will not make roi in 2 years
VNC, hashfast, monarch, cointerra preorders were placed unvisely too.

So basically what you're saying is that everyone will unprofitable? So they will turn off their miners?

So in about a year's time, I can start CPU mining again? Shocked Awesome.

 Grin Roll Eyes
Why not? Enter Primecoin!!!
4182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 30, 2013, 12:09:41 PM
knc miners are not profitable. deal with it.

How? Prove it. Figures. You're spreading fud. The genesis block calc has so many more functions than the default most of the newbies in this forum are concentrating on (or those currently attempting to scare people).

For the default calculations to transpire over time the network would have to continuously double in a linear fashion time and time again. Impossible. Never going to happen.

Say 3,000 units are shipped in Oct, that would require 6,000 in November, the 12,000 in December, then 24,000 come Jan, 48,000 in February, 96,000 in March, 192,000 units delivered in April, 384,000 units in may, 768,000 units in June.

Can you honestly see this as even remotely realistic?!? It's ridiculous.

Knc, and whoever else are never going to manufacture and sell that many devices. Sure you can 'scale production' to a few thousand a month, and i've chosen 3,000 as an achievable figure, but the doubling, and doubling, and doubling. There's some seriously naive people in this forum.

I actually wrote to the Genesis Block and asked them to address this. I suggested they allow us to enter achievable figures of prouction for various manufacturers, and the dates by which those products are likely to be introduced to give more realistic scenarios, which they like, as it's the most sensible way to approach this, and they agreed, they like the idea.

In the mean time there's a constant increase per month option (MM) which can be used instead of the nutty (%) that is there by default. I may even write up a tutorial as people seem reluctant to play with the calc as it's quite useful if you know how to use it properly, which apparently a significant percentage of this forum can't. It's got to the point where it's just laughable and it's being used purposely to scare away small miners, which in turn will effect the distribution of the network. It's just beyond comprehension how the majority of people in this forum think a compounded increase in network harhrate is feasible over the long term!!

Certainly in this period of transition as GPU farms dies out and ASICs are introduced there are solid doubles of network over time, but if you think KnC, or Cointerra will be able to manufacture in excess of 5,000 units a month you're a complete idiot.
Can you do some calculations with your estimations for Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec? Including all possible vendors.
Interesting to see the results!
Thanks.

4187  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ► ► ►HashFast Endorsement on: August 30, 2013, 06:47:56 AM
Tape out is an incredibly important step.  Especially since it looks like we may have a chance to catch KNC; if they're late.
Most important thing for customers would be if they do not have more than 15 days gap! Of course this hurts people invested in KnC but it would be the best for customers in general long term.
The same applies if Cointerra could catch up like this with HF, it is a double edge sword cypherdoc Wink
4188  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 30, 2013, 06:44:57 AM
a) If you want 100% refund, you need to give us 3 months time. We fully acknowledge that we are legally required to issue a refund when asked. Legal issues aside, we ourselves want to do the right thing to maintain our credibility. But the fact is we do not have enough liquidity right now to process all the refund requests. If you are willing to settle for a partial refund right now, please contact us and we can work something out.
b) Keep your order with us. We deliver it within the promised time (2 weeks of receiving the chips). We will also give you a 20% (of your current order) credit for our next project which we will be announcing next week. This credit will be transferable (you can sell it if you want).
Great to hear news from you, I appreciate this!

Regarding a) if payment was in Bitcoins how will you refund, dollars or bitcoins?

It seems best thing to do right now is wait until next week to see what are you up to!

Cheers.

anyways.. all investors beware, do your own research, do the business name search and you will all see this is a fraud.  have a good day

What the hell is wrong with you? It's obvious to anyone doing the search himself that either a) you are deliberately lying or b) you are mind- bogglingly incompetent.

I'd like to know which it is. If b), let me help you. If a): go fuck yourself.

Side-note: I usually draw my hat for a good trill, but this shot is just sad.
His is so heavily invested in Labcoin he is afraid lol
I bought both muahahahahahahahahhahaha
4190  Other / Off-topic / Re: Syrian uprising, what is it? on: August 29, 2013, 08:34:39 PM
How full of total lies yo can be?

Assad is democratically elected president. Assad is from Muslim Shia minority but he is secular president. Majority of Syrians are Sunni Muslims. Assad is backed by Iranian Shia regime and Hezbollah movement of Lebanon. Assad is anti-western and he is not a puppet of western world. This is why USA and Israel with all their puppet states wants him to be removed from office. They already succeeded in greatly reducing Syrian support and presence in Lebanon by killing Lebanese politician in false flag operation.

Living conditions in Syria is better than many parts of European Union. The war is fought because of ethnic and religious conflict. USA and their puppet states gives clandestine support to rebel groups no matter what they are fighting for as long as they are fighting against Assad. Some of the rebels are even ready to eat heart of killed pilot.

The uprisings succeeded in Libya and Egypt. They already attempted the same in Iran but it got crushed really fast. The Syria is holding up desperately and it is no surprise that they used poison gas. Although I'm still 50-50 who used the gas or was not it a USA or Israeli false flag operation.

P.S. I'm not against the fact of using a gas. In WW1 the gas was used by both sides. There is no difference as long as result is death of enemy. USA and Israel uses banned weapons and tactics all the time. Why everyone could not use the most effective means to kill enemy?
At some time I saw in the news some steroid monster warriors doing horrible things - real animals. Who were they? On Assad's side or against? Just wondering, I have no preference for any party involved in this clusterfuck...
4191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 29, 2013, 08:15:19 PM
Only for your anxiety, I've updated my numbers a bit!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgSa2BKZz0WudHVlQVc0NmNVaXJEUHdLS090dWptSEE&usp=sharing

15th of October - at this increase rate - seems to be the "deadline".
Please explain this graph.  What does it mean?

The point is just that the longer that they take to ship, the longer for the ROI.  If it ships quick, ROI could be weeks or a month, if it ships just a month later, it could take 3-4 months for ROI, so a short delay equals an exponentially longer ROI, or negative ROI.
Okay, so "according to this doc" if you're not hashing by Oct. 15th, you're fucked.  And everyone should stop hashing around May '14.  Yeah, it's pretty dumb, I hope it's wrong.
I see this argument a lot.
And I have to ask: Is there a guarantee that the Bitcoin experiment will succeed?
Anyone signed a contract that btc price will always increment?

Why not?? Why not there is a chance that YES, no mining will be possible at some point until we reach a new equilibrium?

Are you one of those who can keep up mining whatever the circumstances?
4192  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 29, 2013, 07:58:41 PM
well, you know when a company has a bit of credibility when MPOE-PR tries hopelessly to label you as a scam.

that was a serious boost to the shareholder confidence in Labcoin.

I agree 100%.  Right after his little post I thought "wow, didn't he show this same distaste towards asicminer at one point?"  This was the biggest signal for me, and I bought up a shitload..

I remember him saying AM shareholders wouldn't make any more profit way back in March/April. That was the trigger that made AM go nuts.

And now, today, he makes his scam statement.  I think we'll see LC hit 10 btc, now.

and just for the record, I think he's really good at running an exchange that has no securities.
What happened? Not informed on this...

10btc? Wow you are bullish!! Can you elaborate some more on this projection? That would be x10,000 the IPO price!!
4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official AnonCoin thread - Client Update!! (Native I2P, TOR nodes) on: August 29, 2013, 07:55:18 PM

Already aware, but thanks anyway  Smiley

https://github.com/Anoncoin/coinjoin - Forked for reference.

We're looking on some DHT Kademlia Library right now to intregrate into the client. This will open possibility for decentralization of CoinJoin. E.g clients share a DHT system for CoinJoin, making it decentralized. And it would help with Zerocoin as well. By the way, one of the developers from Zerocoin answered on a tweet today, so we're going to contact Zerocoin for a possible implementation.

Very interesting stuff keep up the great work.
The only alts I hold anymore are ANC and XPM. Today sold all my MEC, the link I posted was the nail in the coffin for my view on alts based only on zerocoin...
4194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 29, 2013, 07:40:11 PM
Since when is 0.11BTC = $32?  I mean, if it was I'd certainly like to know Grin

Oops.  It was late.  I misread 0.11 BTC per GH as 0.11 BTC per chip.  Still I don't see late 130nm as a viable option.  There is nothing wrong with 130nm in June 2013.  Look how quickly it allowed Avalon & ASICMiner to get "to market".  130nm in November?  I don't see it being attractive not when there is cheaper more efficient silicon.
250TH in September...

EDIT: For the network difficulty part, users will have them later for sure (2nd batch)

UPDATE: 8.29 02:18 EST

Trading is closed and the buyback is complete.

Thank you everyone for your support. We are sorry we were not able to make this happen.

HOSTED-MINING

Try listing on Bitfunder instead.

BTCT is the kiddy exchange and the kids are exhausted from the Garden/LagCoin debacles.

In contrast, ice.drill raised millions on Bitfunder.  Go Pro or go home!
Good idea!

I would go Bitfury mate, sorry...
EVEN NOW I would prefer October BF than October KnC because a chip exists 100%.

EDIT: BTW missed both these trains, oh well...

Klee I don't understand your beef. If you still have an order as you claim, and you are unhappy, go ask for your refund.

Why continue tormenting yourself, when you clearly aren't confident?
No orders with anyone thank God (as it turned out to be). Only stock trading!
What's the beef, upset? No worries, you have plenty of time until 10 October Wink

Lol, i'm cool bud. No worries. Tongue
98% out of my ass statistics that you will ROI mate! Smiley
But buy some Labcoin stocks for hedge Tongue

EDIT: Shameless promotion

HashFast, Cointerra, KnC pending...

they will have 28nm chips.
Bitfury still only 50% of KnC power draw Wink and already delivering

Bitfury at wall is around 1W/GH

KnC Max at wall is 1.6W/GH

Somehow I'm not seeing the 50% Sad

Would you prefer a 400GHs by Bitfury delivered in a week or a 400GHs by KnC early October?
That is the question my friend...

That isn't the question, depends on cost. Would I pay $20,000 for a unit delivered now max 400GH or $7000 Delivered 30 Days from now with Minimum 400GH?

Bitfury 400Gh is only $8580 compares to US$6795, http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/shop/
These are the prices for October orders, they had more for July , august, September now removed.
