Looks like Austin and Becky Craig are filming and gaining attention from Fox News Stateside...

http://fox13now.com/2013/07/28/provo-newlyweds-try-to-survive-using-digital-currency-only-for-90-days/

Well done! Your work as a shill is excellent!

There is nothing better rather than post something completely unrelated to the present discussion to divert attention from the fact that there is no evidence indicating KnC will deliver as promised!

Divert attention from what? They are the main sponsor of the film. You would know this, but you don't read around topics, you just vent wild, unfounded accusations to discredit companies for your own purpose.

Talking about delivering as promised. They are busting a gut to meet expectations of a September/October delivery, if there is any reasonable delay, it may affect overall profit, but ROI, for now, looks comfortable and those that paid with CC are protected if KnC were to scam and vanish. They won't, as they are a legitimate company.

You however have been selling ASICminer block eruptors at a price point that you know will never show a return on investment for anyone purchasing from you with all known knowns. So who is scamming who exactly?!

And FYI, the definition of a 'shill', according to Wikipedia is;

"A shill, also called a plant or a stooge, is a person who publicly helps a person or organization without disclosing that they have a close relationship with the person or organization."

I'm not sure where I fit that description, as I've been totally open and shared everything I saw, heard and uncovered, and not exclusively to KnC. Furthermore they don't need a shill, you just email, and they answer you, in most cases, promptly. Try it, because should they deliver on time, or there abouts, you're unsubstantiated comments will just be plain embarrassing.
He sells block eruptors? Biased...
4442  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner Refund Policy? on: July 27, 2013, 09:17:53 PM
I payed for hosting in btc without having ordered a miner first. When I realized it I asked for a refund and they will pay back with USD (Bitpay).
I will inform when I see the money in my account. They are very professional and legit, I don't think there will be issues if asked for refund!

I just googled hashfast, and that's not what I was looking for.  Grin

Hey guys about my issue they emailed me today and said they will refund me in USD!

The guys are very professional IMO and too bad I did not catch the pre-orders...
Next time!

I hope they will deliver on time, they deserve to succeed.

Did you originally pay in bitcoin or USD?
Bitcoins through Bitpay (see previous posts).

I wouldn't panic, once they understand your mistake I'm sure they'll refund.

I agree.   Also don't forget-- when you pay with BTC, it is converted by BitPay.   It is not like they can send you back the BTC that you paid with.

It will be interesting if you get BTC or FIAT back,  let us know how it turns out.  I don't think you should worry though.
Sure, I will post any update..

I don't panic but I have to admit the lack of feedback is annoying - I have a bad experience in this (only this) with Terrahash so go figure... Tongue
4450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 24, 2013, 07:45:58 PM
I was hoping not to have to post it here, but I think I have to in order to have any chance of getting my refund.
I am not biased against KnC or trolling, in fact I feel bad for not knowing them when pre-orders were open.
I decided though I don't want to buy a miner that ships in October (with the new orders).
When I saw the hosting options I got crazy - I thought I did not have to buy the miner and the offer seemed unbelievable.
Unfortunately the site is not very helpful to see this.
It was only later when I discovered here that I had to order an ASIC before hosting is enabled.
I think it was a huge mistake to sum the whole period and pre-pay it, it confused many people here as I see.

So I asked for refund (I paid with BTC) but I hate to say I am not very optimist. Here is the mails:

1st:
"Hi,

I saw the hosting offer today and I ordered without having bought a miner previously!
I don't plan to order an item separately so I would like a refund.
I paid in bitcoins so it would be easier for you.

My order is the following:
https://bitpay.com/invoice?id=LqWvUj7FiaatjhfyoMZBoJ4S-TQ8vRDDBEZjKa2kV1g=

Thank you in advance and sorry for the misunderstanding.

Best regards,
kLee"

2nd (just to make sure they have an address):
"My btc address is:
xxxx"

3rd:
"Hi,

Any feedback?"

Reply:
"Hi,

I’m assuming you plan to have a hosted miner. If you order a miner and make a note in with the order number of the hosting we can link them together.

Thanks,
Carl
Med vänlig hälsning  |  Best regards

4th:
"Hi,

I am not interested in purchasing a miner thank you.
I thought the prices for hosting were without having to buy a miner!

I live in Greece so with actually buying a miner I would prefer it shipped to me at that prices, hosting would not be
the optimal option!

Regards,
kLee"

No reply since then!
I forgot to say I phoned to the company yesterday (before the mail) and a guy said to mail the support.
First mail was send after that yesterday.
The rest today.
Their reply was 4:24PM local time (now it is 10:45PM).

I hope they will send my refund, no money for buying a miner unfortunately else maybe I would consider ordering a Mercury and paying the difference (though I don't believe it is wise - better go 2xJupiter to be sure with the rise in difficulty).

The whole hosting issue and reluctance to refund me immediately in bitcoins is kind of a red flag IMHO.

Peace.

EDIT: My English are not good because I don't have time for revision before posting, sorry guys...

Προς το παρόν Bitstamp (και MtGox για Super High Risk Day trading)...

KnC hosting now available for ordering - https://www.kncminer.com/categories/hosting

Jupiter 12 months $3960
Jupiter 6 months $2200
Saturn 12 months $2400
Saturn 6 months $1400
So when are these going to be up & running? September or October?  Huh

They say "Hashing within a few hours of it being finished at the factory".  What if they finish in November or December?! :Sad
Priority goes to the ones paying to get it shipped...

I mean compared to the units shipped (pre-orders in September, orders now shipped in October) 'according to plan'.

EDIT: I ordered "Saturn Hosting 6 Months"

Anoncoin Mac wallet working great!
Not the case for me...

The problem is known. It's been detected a error with the Qt library linking in the OSX version. A new build should be out within the day. I'll update this thread when the build is ready.

If you want the wallet up and running at once, the installation of Qt 4.8 for OSX might be a workaround meanwhile.

Sorry for the problem it caused you!
No worries I can wait!!
