1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: February 28, 2019, 11:00:24 AM
We need new command - POW end earlier. Because i loose to much time after zil mining. It needs about 3 minutes to get the pow end command. So every Zil pow it mines around 2minutes and the pow phase is around 6 - 8 minutes.

Why no Explorer? I mine for ower 2 weeks and have no coin in my wallet. I cannot follow the transactions, because no explorer. So for me SCAM COIN

It works on AMD. I have driver verion 18.6.1.

Nicehash MTP only supported by the official MTP CCminer version.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 21, 2019, 02:12:47 PM
Command line arguments:  -a mtp -o stratum+tcp://mtp.eu.nicehash.com:3374 -u 3CGJUpDgyez4Zn4QG8M3sa5CYM5p9p87ux.minero5 -p x --no-watchdog  -b 0.0.0.0:4028
there error when mining MTP in nicehash, I believe that 0.0.0.0 is not correct but I can not change it. Anyway, it does not work, neither in tt-miner etc ...

0.0.0.0 is right. It says only that it use the local IP and the 4028 is the port for awesomeminer. What error?

EDIT:

I think it is a problem from the specified mining software (cryptodredge, TTminer) and not from awesomeminer. It cannot handle the BTC address form i think.
See the last post in cryptodredge thread:

Why Evry version of PM miner  works on AMD cards and not more working on NVidia cards Developer  Sad

NOw i use Bminer and NBminer works fine with Nvidia cards
i have 1080 and 1070 running very smooth on PM Wink

version PM before 4.1.c dont work with Nvidia cards ,last version 4.1.c and all versions before working good with AMD cards

Phönixminer has been working with NVIDIA cards since the first release.

1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Issue with too many shares and disconnect when dual mining with CLAYMORE v12 on: February 12, 2019, 01:15:19 PM
LOL you know that pascal coin has forked to the algo randomhash in november, so no mining possible with claymore.
You can dual mine pascallite

Why you don´t read the help from cointron?  Roll Eyes

https://www.coinotron.com/app?action=help

Next time check algo and such easy things, before you start mining.

@styleshifter

don´t spam this forum with such stupid answers and webpages. If someone need a miner, load it from github or from the bitcointalk thread.
And phönixminer only support dualmining ethash and blake2s and not pascal.

Hi JCE, I've strange performance problem on one avx machine, JCE minig MSR is 2times slower as xmrstak minig XMR. Hmmm. Any sugestions? Config line: -o pool.masari.hashvault.pro:443 -u xxx -p db -c ./config.jce --variation 21 --ssl --forever

Changing threads count, multihash all tried but this is maximum what I can get out of this. Sad

Thank you.

Hi Patrike,

any plans for adding rhminer for randomhash?

https://github.com/polyminer1/rhminer

I integrate it at the moment as a ccminer, so i get pool information, but no hashrate or something else.
Maybe someone has an idea how I get the hashrate

Dudes read, it is a normal very old problem. Why so many people ask this question this days?  Roll Eyes
R9 290 and R9 390 have DAG issue. There is no fix for this, only mining Coins with lower DAG (CLO, ETHO)

claymore fix this problem with RX 580/570/480/470, but they said they have no support R9 390 8g for the moment

claymore fix this problem? XD no this problem where not fixed by claymore. It was a driver bug, and amd fixed this problem.

You think the RX 480/470 is not an old GPU too? Claymore has fix this DAG file problem

Phönixminer has all said. It is your time that you lose by searching a solution. I wait for your solution XD

hi

is there any news for hashrate drop for R9 390 8g, is not yet set as RX 580, DAG file eat my hashrate  Cry

from 33 Mh/s to 25 !!!

There give no news, DAG problem, mine a coin with lower DAG. This problem will never fix and it is very old shit. I write this 1 or 2 times a week and every day the same question.

Read this from phönixminer:

Hi

have there real problems, when mines with R9 390 u. R9 390X GPU's .....
For some months, the hashrate is decreasing continuously from formerly about 33 Mhs / s to about 25.9 Mhs / s even though the R9 390 (X) of the DAG Epoch problem should not be affected at all ...
have any idea to get back 33 Mh/s
Resiste the DAG Epoch
This is caused by the size of the TLB, which is too small for the current DAG sizes and causes constant eviction from the TLB cache. AMD released the "compute mode" fix for RX4x0 and RX5x0 cards, which simply increased the memory page size. However there is no such fix for 290/390 cards. Probably there is no way to increase the page size on these cards because of hardware limitations but only AMD knows for sure. You can either mine coins with lower DAG (basically everything except ETH and ETC), or accept the hashrate drop (but it will get gradually worse over time).

1436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 17, 2019, 09:48:22 PM
Hi Patrike,

since AM can show the wattage of all NVidia and AMD GPUs (which is a great feature, thanks!), can you please add a rule to check the wattage?

Especially for AMD rigs it can happen that the damn Crimson/Radeon driver switch from the own optimized settings to some standard settings with insane power draws. To catch that it would be nice to have a wattage-rule.

Downclock your cards. You clocked to high and the AMD driver reset the settings after a driver failure. This is not a problem from AMD  Wink

Hi, I am mining XMR on minergate from last 2-3 weeks with 13-15khs. And I made around 0.19 XMR.

My estimate earning is 0.06 XMR per day. (According to Minergate's Calculator)

Now i had done little research about minergate and I found many negative reviews that minergate is not good for mining, they steal hashrate, they don't use optimized miners, low hashrate etc...  So please share your experiences with mining

I have not tried any other XMR pools yet. but i heard about nanopool but I am not sure it's the best pool or not

So please help me

0.19 in 2 - 3 weeks XD thats say all about minergate. I get 0.3 xmr in 5 days with 12 kh/s on nanopool.

Hello.

I've also mined on minergate, and after a couple of days i also read many negative reviews about them.

I'd recommend you to try out nanopool to see the difference - i'll promise you that you get better returns.

What application you are using with nanopool for XMR mining?  XMRig?

Application depends on your hardware. You give us no information what hardware you have and here are so many threads about this theme.

GPU Miner

Teamred
JCE Miner
SRB Miner

CPU

JCE Miner
XMR Stak
XMR RIG

I got the fluctuating hash rates with the 8700 as well. On different PC's but with the same hardware. Sometimes 400, 350 or 280 - sometimes even as low as 150. Close and re-open and it can change. Tried with XMR Stak, 2.5 and 2.7. Also tried XMRIG. ll the same.

Auto configs or manually configs?
Use JCE Miner for CPU. Best monero miner for CPU.

Nvidia 3 Gb are there solutions with DAG ?

Mining other coins with lower DAG, there is no other solution.

Nvidia 3 Gb are there solutions with DAG ?

Use Windows 7 and it will work. I have an EVGA 1060 3GB running on Windows 7 just fine with version 12.0. With Windows 10 the system utilizes 20% of the memory and the DAG won't load because of that. In Windows 7 that is not an issue.

And how long? 1 or 2 month? and 20% system utilizes is wrong, this would be around 600mb.
Sorry mine other coins with this cards is the only right solution.

From the dag calculator (https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size) you can use 3GB cards for approx another 4 months.

As for the 20% check out this post about it (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/15b9654e-5da7-45b7-93de-e8b63faef064/windows-10-does-not-let-cuda-applications-to-use-all-vram-on-especially-secondary-graphics-cards?forum=win10itprohardware). Windows 10 "reserves" part of the VRAM and doesn't allow other applications to use it. This isn't an issue with rigs that have 4GB and larger currently, but 4GB will see there end in 2021 according to the DAG calculator.

And yes you of course can mine something else but those dead set on ETH there is a way for now.

Why i must check a post? I check my rigs and see that windows 10 don´t use 20% from vram XD, it will to be around 10% and when you use the igpu from cpu, it will be even less.
And Win7 always reserve some vram too. So i think in around 2 month eth mining will end for 3gb cards.

Sorry you read to much and check nothing by your self. I don´t trust calculators, i try it out and make my own opinion.

Has anyone compared the v12 with Phoenix Miner in Nvidia cards?
Right now I'm getting an average of 49.0 - 49.5 MH/s with Phoenix on EVGA 1080ti FTW3 @74% efficiency.

Phönixminer is much faster on nvidia cards.
