I attempted to add my verge wallet to balances but it doesnt work - by default AM puts the "block explorer API URL" as "https://verge-blockchain.info/ext/getbalance/[address]"

edit:

that url does not work but from the same site i found that https://verge-blockchain.info/address/[address]" does work however when i put that in AM - AM still cannot get my balance.

https://verge-blockchain.info/api/balance/[address]

next time read the api documentation:

https://verge-blockchain.info/API

doh that worked. I just tried to set it up this morning, the default one AM provided does not work. I went to the api page and grabbed the one at bottom but that is a direct link. yours is the one further up on the API page - I blame not having my morning coffee yet Smiley thank you.

 Cheesy no problem

Load of BS was far as Blackminer is concerned. And Ultra costs $1458.

Show me some real arguments against Blackminer.

PS: I have been their customer since launch.

You read his post? You need more arguments? Or you did not understand?
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Who's mining Nervos CKB eaglesong on NiceHash successfully? on: April 28, 2020, 10:37:47 AM
Can mining of such irrelevant and little-known currencies really be beneficial?

Top 100 Coins on Coinmarketcap rank 68.

Very little known XD
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HashAltcoin Blackminer F1--best FPGA miner,in stock,support hosting & shipping on: April 28, 2020, 08:41:41 AM
is there was an answer for that medium post about blackminer scam "devs stealing your hashrate" ?

if blackminer got answer to this article, can someone, please, point me to them ?

Article was a bunch of nonsense. Go to discord for responses.

And why blackminer don´t answer here?
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NetReboot - Reboot On Lan / Force Reboot Frozen Rigs / Control Network WD's on: April 27, 2020, 06:53:33 AM
If the target computer responds to packets it using System.Net.NetworkInformation
If not, first it sends requests on "wake on lan", then it tries to send request via bios (realtek chip models)
This tool works fine for my particular setup, but it should be low success rate in real world situations.

Works on no rig (tested on 20 rigs with different configs). This is release is senseless. Release such software if it is useable for more people and not only you  Roll Eyes

LEUTE WAS WIRD HIER DENN FÜR MÜLL GESCHRIEBEN? SIND WIR DEUTSCHEN IM MINING BEREICH WIRKLICH SO ZURÜCK GEBLIEBEN?

BITTE ERSTMAL KLÄREN WAS GEMINED WERDEN SOLL. MAN KANN NICHT DIE HASHRATEN VON MONERO ODER BTC VERGLEICHEN UND EURE RECHNEREIEN SIND ALLE SINNLOS WEIL IHR RECHNET JA IRGENDWAS AUS. WO HABT IHR DIE ZAHLEN HER?

@THREADERSTELLER:

BITTE NICHT WEITER HIER FRAGEN, 90% IST ABSOLUTER MÜLL WAS HIER STEHT. DU KANNST NICHT MAL COINS VERSENDEN ODER VERSTEHST DEN ZUSAMMENHANG VON LEDGER, KEY UND WALLET. FANGT DOCH ERSTMAL KLEIN AN UND LEST IM INTERNET.  Roll Eyes

DEIN RECHNER BRAUCH IM MINING BETRIEB SICHER MEHR ALS 200W XD UND DU HAST CA. 2000Kw/h ÜBRIG IM JAHR, BEI 200W VERBRAUCH KANNST DU DEIN RECHNER 41 TAGE AM STÜCK MINEN LASSEN.
1188  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Projekt eigene Mining-Farm on: April 24, 2020, 10:02:53 AM
Naja, 110 TH/s sind halt nicht wirklich viel.
Da ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit gleich wieder so gering, dass es nicht lohnt.

Ey mein guter, bevor du hier überhaupt was machst.

95$ a week, and how long? I think you will never make 95$ in a week. Diffi wil be raise and raise and raise. The same shit as with all other ASIC´s.
yep, went over all that in the video

Ok then your topic is a clickbait. Vosk this is shit. Make good content and you will get more followers.

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: April 21, 2020, 02:35:00 PM
I am not sure if Claymore reads this, but are you working on enabling somehow offloading the Dag after it reaches 4GB? Maybe using a rig with some 8GB cards and some 4GB cards and averaging the Dag between the cards. Would make your miner even more popular.

More popular?
Claymore is the most popular ethash miner over the last 4 to 5 years. And no he didn't read this.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: True mining story, thanks to Pandemia on: April 21, 2020, 02:12:08 PM
What to do, while "sitting duck" due to pandemia?
Do you want to try mining coins?
If your answer is "Yes" then proceed to read!
Just few weeks ago I found a coin, and dev(s) claiming "that it is minable only on computers and phones". There was no doubt that ASIC resistant algos exits, but I was asking myself: "Is it minable at all?".

Long story short, cloned github repo into linux box, found a CPUminer and cloned it too. As I have already prebuilt environment to compile all sorts of blockchain projects, it all went smooth. We got daemon for a blockchain and a miner to get coins.

Test configuration is i7-6700 CPU, 16Gb ram and that is only what matters for this particular test. "Solo mining" here we come! Solo mining "went south" as it can't produce hashes fast enough (307.91h/s on difficulty 0.003, 2 threads). We need "MORE POWER (hash-rate)"!!! 😠

Got few PCs around and running stratum server. Darn!!! Server cant service "yespower" algorithm. 😠 Github website is really handy, cloning stratum server repo, done. And here comes the hard part: "Inject algorithm code into existing code of stratum server". It took me about three days (actually one) to sort it out. Time to test.
But before we proceed to final part, I want to say "Thank you for reading.".
Fired stratum-server, connected 5 PCs running "cpuminer".
Wow, we solved (found) a block on the second minute of mining!!! 😍

As of now our system found 47 blocks and each block reward is 50 coins. Success!!!

Join us,
stratum running right now on https://www.tdcoincore/pool/

And your mission is?

SQRL is scam!
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: April 15, 2020, 11:54:40 AM
I think have a pretty good number on virtual memory.  Initial Size(MB): 3000 Maximum size (MB): 20000

no is not enough
raise it to 48.000 it should solve your problem

switch your mining to a linux distribution cause your cards of 4gb will mine much longer on linux than on windows, and linux is more stable

Linux more stable? Why? Explain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you are wrong, setup win10 in the right way, it is also stable. Running my Rigs on win10 over 3 or 4 months without reboot is no problem.

Claymore live or died?

Last Active:   November 11, 2019, 06:37:41 PM

Claymore is not working on this forum on his miner
If you want to weep an eye on what is he doing, follow him on github https://github.com/Claymore-Dual/Claymore-Dual-Miner, the last update was 25 days ago

Cheers!

lol this is not claymore XD
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Flashed GPU Bios, Computer Won't Post on: April 06, 2020, 11:56:33 AM
I flashed an RX580 with a new bios and now my system won't post with that GPU plugged in. Unplugged, works great.

I can't flash it back to stock without booting first. Is it worth trying to hot-swap it in once the computer boots without it plugged in?

I have an ASUS b250 mining expert.

Delete AMD driver with DDU and plug the card in a second pcie and a working card in the first slot. i think you can now boot and flash it back to original bios.

The trick with the paperclip will always work.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Old "ants" D3 & A3 --- make them profitable again? on: April 06, 2020, 11:11:47 AM
Regarding reflashing to mine a different algo, its impossible. You can do that with CPU, GPU and FGPA mining but never with ASICs. Hence why they become obsolete so fast in the crypto world.

this is the answer I was worried about... it will be better to find some way to make them hash anything else, cause now those machines are just garbage now  Undecided
even sell them for spare parts can't cover even the shipping cost...

Yes it is garbage and we can do nothing. This is a normal life of an ASIC  Cheesy

Hello everyone. I was just wondering what are the ETH hash rates of the Radeon 5700, 5700 XT, and 5700 XT anniversary edition? And how much power do each card consume? Thanks
