I tried both versions of the miner 5b-5c and at least 5 types of drivers and the maximum speed I achieved is 10.4m per card. The cards are RX 580 4G. I will be happy if someone shares if this problem can be fixed.

where you find the version 5.0c?

What Bios you are using for the RX580? Which driver version? Which OS? OC your Cards? How you oc your cards?   Huh

Hello!

How do I make Awesome Miner detect that Claymore doesn't initialize?

I have a few nasty rigs that may sometimes not initialize properly and Claymore either throws "Miner cannot initialize for 5 minutes, need to restart miner!" error (and freezes) or just stops at GPU initialization.

I don't have enough time right now to deal with these rigs, so I just want AM to detect such behavior and restart the rig using "shutdown -f -r -t 0" because if such a thing happens, only a full reboot helps.

Which rule shall I create for this situation?

And a feature request: sometimes GPUs fall of the bus and are not detected. Right now I have to set up a rule per each farm that detects a number of devices and if it's not the same as specified in the rule, the notification is displayed.

But maybe it is possible to be able to set up a GPU count in the Properties of each rig? Because right now I need to create 50+ rules for each rig.
1) The built-in Offline Detection rule should be able to detect this. By default the rule only provides a notification, but you can modify it to also take an action like reboot. The action name is "Miner command" for this, where you will find Reboot as one of the optioins.

Do you see the notification message when Claymore miner ends up in this state?

2) Good point about specifying a GPU count on the miner. Thanks!

No, the deal is that this state doesn't trigger any notifications.
Just to confirm - in the Options dialog, Rules section, you have enabled (checked the check box) the predefined rule called "Offline Detection"? Even when enabled, you don't get any notification?

The miner doesn't go offline. It stays online.
http://i.piccy.info/i9/081cf6b9fd441f660ec8dda024132959/1590617631/134093/1380548/fail.png

See the screen. It's not mine, but I get the same error: the miner just hangs on this screen and that's all.
So it is considered as "Online" and "Mining" in AM.

Which rule do I need to create to detect such a situation and execute a reboot?

Accepted shares doesn't increase after x mins?

You have screen or hdmi dummy in the rig? I think this is the problem why it not initialize.
If Claymore not initialize, then you should solve this problem, because this is not normal.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Shark Eye Miner v1.0.0 on: May 28, 2020, 12:58:01 PM
Shark Eye Miner v1.0.0

I want to present you mining software that works in one click, it is suitable for any GPU coins, and more specifically ETH, ZEC, BTG, and others. He works with the most relevant mining programs, such as Phoenix miner, Gminer, TT-miner, and takes care of all the inconvenience of using them from you. It is for this that it was created, for situations when you have mining rigs on AMD and Nvidia video cards, and you need to use different programs for mining on both cards. The primary goal of this software is comfort and simplification of the mining process itself.

Main Functions
Below are some Features for the first version:

  • Support all coins based on GPU (ETH, ZEC, XMR, BTG, ETN, ZEN, ETC, ZCL and others)
  • CPU mining with XMR and ETN.
  • Support for different graphics cards. Nvidia and AMD
  • Switching in 1 click between miners and coins.
  • Mine on Startup
  • Automatic restart of the miner in case of failure or accidental closure.
  • Shark Eye Miner is open source. We do not steal a hashrate like Minergate.
  • Quick Switch to Pool Account

Planned Features
  • Profitability calculator
  • Mining several different coins on different graphics cards
  • Auto reconnect to Wi-Fi. If the Wi-Fi connection is lost, it does not reconnect, and the miner freezes. Therefore, for your comfort, I plan to fix this problem in the future.
  • Launching Scripts and timer commands, for example: rebooting a PC at a set time, and so on.
  • The possibility of double mining at the expense of temperature increase

How it Works
  • During the first opening of the software, you will have “Default Ethereum Miner” in the settings. This is done so that you could test the software itself
  • This can all be edited and used, in which case it becomes an ordinary miner. To do this, right-click and select “Change Miner”, and replace the address with your wallet.
  • Also, you can click "Add Miner" and create a new miner.
  • ATTENTION! Adding a new miner will remove all unedited miners the next time you restart the application.
  • There is also a right click menu in the list of miners. It is intended to edit / delete or activate the miner.
  • Activation of the miner. The miner can be started using the “Start” button, but when the system restarts, it will not turn on by default, for this you need to select “YES” in the “Mine on Launch” menu.
  • Settings screen: IMPORTANT! Edit the settings and enable "Launch on Start" and "Mine on Launch".
  • The Script tab shows a script according to which everything will work. To edit this, click on Edit on the right and then save with Save.
  • Closing the Shark Eye Miner does not kill the process itself. It minimizes it to tray. For a complete lock, you need to open the system tray, right-click and select "Exit".
  • Closing the Shark Eye Miner during mining will not stop the work of the miners themselves. You can close it if you have completely done the setup and you no longer need a graphical interface.
  • All downloaded data is stored in% Appdata% \ Shark Eye. It creates the <your_miner> .bat file inside the software used for mining. ATTENTION! It is not recommended to make your own corrections if you are not an experienced user.
  • The sharkeyeminer.json file contains all the information about your configuration. Do not delete this file! Because you will have to reconfigure everything. But even if you deleted do not be afraid, you will not lose your payouts.
  • To transfer all your data to another computer, simply copy the sharkeyeminer.json file to another computer in the same% Appdata% \ SharkEye folder.
  • If the miner’s window is constantly closing, it means that your equipment is not suitable for mining.
  • In order to disable the console display, on the settings screen, select the option “do not display the miner’s user interface”. Personally, we do not recommend doing this.

GitHub: https://github.com/sharkeyeminer/sharkeyeminer
Download: https://github.com/sharkeyeminer/sharkeyeminer/releases

System requirements
  • Currently supports only Windows 7 and upwards
  • .Net Framework 4.5

Zcash, ETN are ASIC Coins over 2 years, so we need no Virus Test to identify this as a Virus XD but some people are stupid enough XD

Must you really quote the very first post?

Give it up. The guy is gone.

You think he is gone, i think he came back at the end of this year, when the 4gb cards are stop mining.
Phönixminer ist also back after a while without any update.

I create 1 rule for every GPU count. 1 Rule for 6 GPU Rigs and 1 rule for 8 GPU Rigs and so on. if a GPU not detected, it add a Tag (GPU Missing). But if you integrate such feature in AM would be nice.

@Patrike:

If you add such feature, keep in mind: 1 Rig with 7 AMD and 6 Nvidia Cards, it runs 2 Miners.
So it must be configurated per Miner and not per Rig, and we must configurate which GPU´s the miner instance use and check.
I hope you understand the problem.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246518.0

I think it is easy for you, because it is a fork of ethminer.
At the moment i add it a as user defined software.
I will look into this one. I know it has a 0% mining fee, which can be attractive. Have you verified if it's performing better than the other software that also support Kawpow?

It perform same as other Kawpow Miner.

Ya patrik lately  to many bugs with awesome miner please check it deeply... in windows or Linux mostly have a big trouble
Please share more details about the issues you are referring to and which specific part of Awesome Miner that isn't working as expected. I'm more than happy to help out resolving issues related to Awesome Miner but we need to work together to identify and reproduce the problems.
everytime new miner version come its a paint to make it work 1 rig can run other rig not run because new software mining update not downloaded... i must make new name software and upload manually that first problem.... and on Linux I only can make run t-rex miner after installing cuda drive but other software cant run that's 2... and other else i cant remember all Cheesy cheers (edited) last I cant run nbminer on benchmark but I can run in manage miner not profit miner

seem we are with the same length using awesome miner and I manage more than 300 gpu THANKS!!!

New miner version, i click upgrade miner, stop a rig and start it again. rig work with new miner version. If you do it right it makes not problems.
I manage over 200 gpu´s and 50 asic´s. No problem Wink

I can prove it. But after your manner of communication. I will not do this. You are very uncivilized

XD i think you cannot prove this, because it is not possible. AM use only the Miner software from the developer. So if someone stealing then the developer of the miner software but not AM XD

I am uncivilized, aha ok you know me? If i read stupid comments, i gave stupid comments back XD

And how? Lol XD he can´t cut hashrate. What a shit your are writing? If you are to stupid to do the right setup? Can you prove your statement?

RVN 2% fee is too much!!  Angry

Get Kawpowminer -> NO fee - at least for now! https://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/kawpowminer/

AND ... it’s “open source” so you know what you’re installing / using on your rigs!

AND ... you can also use their code to learn, copy and paste, then close source it and charge people less than 2% fee!!

To save even more, ZERO fee -> https://ravencoin.flypool.org/start

TT-Miner also 0% fee and faster, kawpowminer is to slow for me.

I'm mining RVN with 2 cards:

RX 570 MSI 4gb - 8.5Mhs - 120w at the wall
Bios mod - memory  @1950 - Core Clock @1100

GTX 1660 Gigabyte 6GB - 11.6 Mhs - 70w at the wall
Overclocked +160Core Clock - @960 Memory

It's incredible how Nvidia performs well and with low consumption

I'm trying to refine the power consumption of RX 570, any ideas?

RX 570 4GB 9.5 - 9.7 @ 110w
GTX 1060 3GB 9.5 - 10 @ 90w
GTX 1060 6GB 10 - 10.5 @ 90w

First time or troubleshooting kawpow:
-   First time users - all ver. 2.02+ works on Cuda 9.x &Cuda 10.x and it is recommended to make sure you've updated your NVIDIA drivers. You can find drivers here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx ver., min  ver.398+++
-   Next important thing is intensity. We recommend intensity -19 or 20,(21 for 20x0) at first.
-   kawpow algo using +mem , but use no OC at first until you verify stability..

We use anydesk instead of teamviewer, need less resources, no limitation in time if i connect to much to some computers, and it is easier to use.
I use it with Awesomeminer, right click on miner and connect (make my own rule). Don´t use RDP, only with strong PROTECTION, we had last month 2 attacks over Awesomeminer Ports, our luck RDP is deactivate on all machines, but the attackers tried to connect.

I use this to remotely reboot pwr on/off my rigs

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32641809240.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4duNVoA1

You can install a software that comes with the relay on a local PC with Awesome Miner, my mining farm is like 200 km away from my home. I only go there for cleaning and repair, last time was like 6 months ago

Nice thanks for this  Grin this is what i looking for.

Okay, here is a strange one. I've worked on it for a few hours and can't resolve.

I have 2 cards in a side rig. One 5700, one 4gb 470. For whatever reason, the 470 won't allocate the dag. It's not the monitor card, so I assume it's good. Any who, I decided to just throw it on Ubiq.

Pool set up for 5700, proto 1, gpus 1 - connects no problem.

Pool set for 470, proto 4, gpus 2. Won't connect to the pool. I check the epool file for that one and no proto is being passed. I've put it in the Phoenix/Claymore section, I've put it in the command line section. If i manually add proto 4 and save/close double click the miner it's all good. But it will not run as it through AM.

I'm currently mining on a pool that I don't want to mine to. Because it takes standard proto.

Any help or suggestions?
Hi,
Using the GPU with only 4 GB memory, did you get an error message about not enough memory to generate the DAG?

For Phoenix Miner I noticed that Awesome Miner didn't consider the PROTO property correctly for Ubiq. If the DAG size is the problem, please try with another EtHash based coin like EXP (Expanse).

Try commandline option -rvram 1

@patrike
Hi boss, i have problems with firmware replace on my Antminer L3+, actually i have installed original Bitmain firmware 10 July 2019
I have tried different methods with SD card (yours and Bitmains tool), but nothing help, i cant replace firmware (Cant find signature error). And no SSH ((((
Maybe someone know a trick.
Regards
The SD card installation method should always work. Can you please verify:

1) The SD card is formatted with FAT32 file system

2) The files you put on the SD card correctly. It is not the same file you install via the web interface that you can put on the SD card. It should look similar to the screenshot you see at the end of this page:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000145544-awesome-miner-antminer-firmware-installation

For L3+, you should for example see a few files in the root folder and then have a single sub folder called "nand".

SD card installation is required when running Bitmain firmware from July 2019 and later - as these have the signature validation. Installing via the web interface will give you the signature error message.
trust me Patrike, i have tried all this steps) I have formated to FAT32 16GB SD card, extracted your files (i saw subfolder "nand"), started asic with SD card inserted. nothing helps.
Maybe i must start asic with SD card and press some buttons during start?
some step by step manual needed...

you have the nand folder and the other files on sd card?

Use a smaller SD Card, 4GB is enough and best for this.
