1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 13, 2020, 02:47:21 PM
Monero is a big project but big is not always good, a small project like RYO which is the next big competitor of monero fix all the flaws that monero failed to do in Cryptonote protocol. Monero is itself a big question mark on decentralization, if you ask monero community about this they won't give you an answer of it they will start talking about something else that has nothing to do with Decentralization. And monero Emissions are the worst emission scheme in the crypto space they have mined 40% of coins in the first year when difficulty was low there and later on they dump all those coins which result in quick fall from $400 to 70$ while small project like RYO focuses on the things that monero promised us as a privacy coin, Privacy, security, decentralization, and fairness.
So, when it comes to privacy coins I go for Ryocurrency instead of monero because I believe in quality not in quantity and we all know only quality can survive in the long-term.

You know that monero is one of the first crypto currencies? You think RYO will survive and Monero will die? XD unbelievable

Maybe used 1080ti 11gb better.?

BiblePay is testing a dual mining RandomX integration on its testnet chain,

this will allow miners to mine both BiblePay (BBP) and Monero (XMR) at the same time!

1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No gpu found on: February 12, 2020, 08:49:33 AM
These cards are not going to work on ETH because of low-memory. You can try mining Cryptonight-GPU(RYO) which is a core dependent mining algorithm that don't care about the memory.
Give it a try.

And next stupid comment XD

These cards has 6GB, you can mine ETH with cards of course.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ryzen 2600 XMRig how to get extra speed on: February 12, 2020, 08:31:51 AM
You can try out mining monero with free miner XMR-STAK-RX where you don't have to mess with command lines as you have to with Xmrig and other monero miners. I think xmr-stak-rx can improve your hashrate which you are looking for. Check it.

Herry Toms go home now. Your commandline comment is stupid. Donīt write it in any thread, other peoples believe it.

Hello all ! I have a bad situation with one of my rig ! My hdd is bad and i changed it with another one (new). I installed all the drivers but when i start mining with claymore , my GPU only runs with 11 mh/s ! Before this happened they goes with 29 mh/s ( they are overclocked) What is wrong with them ? I tried to copy the bios but they said that is the same bios ... Any ideas ? Thank you in advance !

Sorry for my bad language !

1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire 16gb RX570 mining card testing and review. on: February 09, 2020, 09:43:35 AM
I think hashrate can better if you test it on Cryptonight-GPU(RYO). Is it possible for you to check this card on Ryocurrency and share results?

LOL and again the RYO noob. The 16Gb RX 570 Card is for Grin mining, no one interesting the Cryptonight-GPU hashrate.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with your hard drive...Is it worth it? on: February 08, 2020, 02:29:04 PM
I am so interested in this POC mining algorithm but I can't find many POC coins around, they are very limited, if any of you can lead me to the right sources I will appreciate, I have many free HDD laying around that I can put to  good use

I heard that some are worth it, the higher the space of your hard drive the higher your income, the problem here is the life span of hard drives especially those using HDD that normal have problems later on and since this drive mining will be always it will easily kill HDD unless one use SSD which are more costly

You are a hdd miner? You read my post? Sorry but don't answer if you have no idea.

It will not kill your hdd XD

That's crap. Hard drives are mechanical devices subject to physical wear. It will age your HDD faster,
raising the probability of failure. There's a reason HDDs spin down whenever they can, it's to lengthen
their life.

Go home kid. You mining with HDD no? So how can you say this? You donīt no how HDD Mining working, so please don't write crap if you don't have your own experience.

1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: D3 flashing TO L3, L3 BOARD INSIDE D3 on: February 08, 2020, 02:22:42 PM
According to Bitmain yes it's the same board for the L3,L3+,L3++,D3,A3,X3

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=000201807311735163200cr1JTsS068C

So all you would need to do is flash the firmware you need.
You may or may not need to use the SD card method depending on the revision of the firmware that is already on it.
There are guides on the Bitmain site.

Roll Eyes oh dude oh dude XD

Yes this boards have the same Controller board and thats it.
The asic boards are different. Because ASIC, the name say it XD

So no you canīt make an D3 to a L3.

You are correct. I misread it. I was thinking he was asking about swapping a dead control board for a good one between units.
Something I have had to do a lot on Bitmain gear Sad
This is what happens when you read & post on mobile while standing on a train.

 Cheesy yes thats true

Why mess with this to make it free, when you can mine monero with free miner xmr-stak-rx without wasting time on these command lines and setting?

Because XMRig is faster?
Wasting time with command lines and settings? What? Explain please. You donīt need a command line in xmr stak rx? Roll Eyes

Was it ever worth it?

I may be biased but I never took it seriously. Doesn't it wear out the drive?
Hard drives and SSDs have a limited lifetime that is shortened by heavy use.

Yes it was worth. At the start of BHD, i mine it solo and get 200 BHD in 2 month with 35TB. Sold 1 BHD for 0.4 ETH. So yes this was worth  Cheesy

1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 06, 2020, 10:42:14 AM
Hi Patrike,

i found a bug. No Miner or System Uptime in the Information column

And is it possible to write fans and other labels (information column) in bold, like i have in the progress field? I think it makes it better readable.

Thanks for pointing out the format error.

In the Information Column dialog you can edit any label. You can change from the default "Uptime: " to "<b>Uptime: </b>" to get bold text.

Thanks Patrike.

Another question:

I have add a custom coin. In balance is only show 0 dollar for this coin if i add a dollar price in the coin properties. I must add the btc price to have the a value in balance tab. Is this normal?
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Windows 10 Update on: February 06, 2020, 07:58:52 AM
I would really recommand windows 7, whatever which updates, I havn't got any issues with mining...
Thanks for the advice.. I will not install win10 now ...

Windows 10 is very unstable, so it is better to install windows 7 and you will not have any problems. The fact is that I had a small mining farm and the whole system rested on Windows 10. Recently I received updates and after that I also received error 0x800f0831 in the set. I searched for a long time how to solve this problem and found instructions on the site. The problem is that I had to roll back the updates and reinstalled the entire mining system. So do not repeat my mistakes!

the error is behind your screen and not windows10  Tongue Cheesy

Disable windows10 updates takes around 1minute.

Hi Patrike,
how do disable the windows update? Only disable the Windows Update service?

Thanks for the correction for Gminer
When you activate this feature (Options dialog, Mining Settings), Awesome Miner will stop the Windows Update service and also put a value in the Windows Registry to prevent Automatic Updates.

It will still be possible to open the Windows Update settings in Windows and click a button to manually install the updates.

Any feedback on this feature is of course welcome. Thanks!

Ok thanks for the information. I build a test rig today and give you a feedback.
