I have 144 pcs NVIDIA GTX1050 2GB GPUs which mining cryptonight-xhv.
What do you advise me to mine ?
I dont want to sell my GPUs. I tried to mine NIM (argon2d algo). But the rigs are unstable.
is the any ethash algo coin which can mine with 2GB GPUs ? (I know ETH and ETC cannot mine with 2GB GPUs.)

Wait until 370 epoch, you will change your mind. Kawpow works on 4GB still but i thin kthat profitability will be killed when all those 4GB or 50% of them will switch to Kawpow ... good luck with profitability. LOL epoche 370, this is what i expected. This is in November so what is the problem? With linux i can mine up to epoch 380? Very usefull to change the OS for about 1 month  So about what we discuss? Your advertising for simplemining os? |

........I don´t know why i get this error. I do some research tomorrow. My other 10 rigs with windows10 running well.

My rigs stop mining today, when Epoch 352 went active.
After restart, 13 GPU are detected, but AMD driver is not capable of stopping fan on a single GPU anymore, indicating, no control.
When miner starts, miner is loading, but no hashing.
In "show miner" it say, all GPU hang and miner must be restarted.
Anyone have similar problem, or solution ?
Have tried ethOS update, no result.
Have tried miner update, no result.
Running ethOS 1.3.3, without trouble for month.
Any input appreciated.
I have a Rig with ethos and had the same problem. I switched to hiveos and claymore and i get error: not enough vram for dag. switched to hiveos and phönixminer and all is ok. I don´t know why i get this error. I do some research tomorrow. My other 10 rigs with windows10 running well. |

Hi Patrik, question, or maybe a suggestion Is it possible in the rules to set some trigger for a rig A, but the action (like a start/stop miner command) is for another rig B? Or maybe multiple rigs B, C, D, .....? If this is not possible right now, it would be awesome if you could do that. Thanks for the suggestion. This isn't possible today. Can you give an example of when this might be useful? This would be of help for me to understand what's missing today. Thanks! Hey Patrik, here are two examples for my own benefit. I have a few watercooled rigs with 2 seperated rigs in 1 water-loop. If for whatever reason the main-rig turns off, there is no waterflow anymore and I have to shutdown the second rig too. Right now that shutdown is managed by a smart socket, but if AM could handle that with just a rule and much faster, it would be awesome. I also have multiple containers, running each 4 rigs inside, but with just 1 power line per container. If the main-rig including the power for the containers airflow turns off, I have to shut down the other 3 rigs to protect them of overheating. AM could handle that even faster than any smart socket. I think this option can be useful for other miners too, to protect rigs in a better way without using external stuff like smart sockets or so. How could this be done? One idea would be in the rules -> actions -> "miner command" for example another line which is already set to "this miner/group", but I also can choose other miners or groups. But maybe you will find a better way like always it is maybe better to make the water flow separately and don´t let control a rig the waterpump. The same with airflow, it make no sense to control the airflow or waterflow for multiple rigs with one rig. You look for the wrong solution my friend. And patrike it is possible at the moment to shutdown many rigs if one rig goes down. You can set a rule that push an .cmd file with start/stop api commands or shutdown. Much work at the moment, but it is possible. An easier way would be nice, but not for the strange scenario joseph32 explained. |

Monitor connected to GPU1?
yes my friend, a monitor by HDMI cable, also connect the cable in the GPU2 and the same thing happens, the GP1 that is in the main pcixpress, I also try to boot without connecting any hdmi cable to the cards, and nothing, my motherboard has no integrated video I think Windows uses more video memory on primary videocard. This causes your problem. And nothing will help there. You need integrated videocard or 1st GPU with 6G or 8G onboard... +1 Nothing more to say. |

Hi patrike, i have a Problem with GPU Clock Profiles. I save the GPU settings from a RIG, and sometimes if i want to change some settings from 1 GPU Profile i get an error. But this error makes no sense to me.  And other Problems: NBminer 31.1 recognize AMD AND NVIDIA CARDS, so if i want to set some devices for the miner, the order is wrong. Awesomeminer only show nvidia cards, and will begin with device 0, but the first card is a AMD card. So the order of the devices are not correct. Wildrig Multiminer the same problem. It will recognize AMD AND NVIDIA CARDS, but i only can choose AMD cards in Awesomeminer. So the order is wrong too. |

its possibel to add on awesome miner a string like in claymore miner like -rxboost and more like this
Please right click on your miner and select Properties. 1) On the Environment tab, enable "Run mining process with administrator privileges". This is required for -rxboost and similar parameters 2) On the Command line tab, please enter the "Parameters to mining software" you want, like -rxboost. run mining process with administrator privilges is not required for -rxboost. only for the first start to install the driver, but after that, administrator privilges are not required!!!! For me it is important, because the console in AM will show nothing with administrator privilges or it will show the console in a very ugly way  |

Or add the -gt values to the phönixminer startbat lol. you only run phönixminer tuning only 1 time and than you can add the -gt values and it the cards mining at full speed without tuning. |

My mining rig has been running for 2-3 years without any issues, but one of the psu broke and after i changed it the mining software closes on startup there is no error msg or anything, ive tried adding "pause" and checking the logs but nothing, looking for any tips what the issue is, here is what it says in the log

-clkernel 3 uses 2 DAGs so 8GB are not enough to hold them and it will stop working at some moment when DAG size approaches 4GB.
If my mem is 8 and 2x3,75=7,5 (current ETC) there is still 0,5 free mem I guess if 4gb cards are working on -clkernel 1 then 8gb should work on -clkernel 3 Or i am missing something... You using Win10? Which driver you are using. You can't just calculate 2x3.75. Can you mine ETH with clkernel3? If so, then you have not enough vram for ETC and clkernel3. What driver your using. |
