Seems they are lurkers...

I think it's just difficult for PhishTank users unfamiliar with Bitcoin to decide whether this is a real site or a phish.

Looks like we are winning.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin (?) Purchased at Walmart (STE) on: August 28, 2011, 04:01:07 AM

I have an honest question for you, NothinG. Do you believe the cake is not real? Please be honest. Thanks, bud.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

If the cake has to prove it's not a lie, it's a lie.

BRB! I have to take another picture of a stupid cake. LOL!

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Going to Walmart to Buy a Cake & Take Pictures of it to Prove it's Real

I take it you've never played Portal.

Sent payment, hopefully I get them soon Smiley
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox spoof mail+site on: August 28, 2011, 03:28:16 AM
I submitted it to PhishTank:
http://www.phishtank.com/phish_detail.php?phish_id=1262006&frame=details
Vote for its confirmation if you have a PhishTank account.

Seems they are lurkers...

The cake is a lie!

Code:
Walmart Supercenter
6800 W Us Highway 34
Plano, IL 60545
http://www.walmart.com/storeLocator/ca_storefinder_details_short.do?rx_dest=%2Findex.gsp&rx_title=com.wm.www.apps.storelocator.page.serviceLink.title.default&sfsearch_city=plainfield&edit_object_id=1003&sfsearch_state=IL

Ah...what information a "cake" can bring.
I wonder if I can re-order the same "cake"?

I knew that was coming. It is an 8" cake purchased in the Donut section of Walmart. You could order the same cake. Also, I wasn't afraid to to show the receipt with that relative information on it, for I've already stated on this board that I'm located in Sandwich, Illinois, and can easily be found--just ask the Major (or the police, for they know me, too--in a good way [except for that ticket I got from them yesterday while going to Walmart to order this Bitcoin cake--my first ticket in 35 years]).
It all broils down when you try to take on the roll of GlaDOS.

Anyways, awesome cake! Smiley

Had to Google GlaDOS, NothinG. The following is edited from Wikipedia: GLaDOS has been well-received by critics and gamers, some of whom called her a narcissist, passive-aggressive, sinister, and witty. In no way, shape or form am I a narcissist or sinister. I do see, though, how you can easily come to that conclusion by the amount of posts I make, and maybe by their contents. But believe, you, me, I do love Bitcoin and would not do anything to diss her (Bitcoin is a her, correct?).

I enjoyed the post, NothinG. Later, bud.

I was going of of...
GlaDOS (from Portal) tries to make the User believe the cake is real.
Which of course any sane person KNOWS the cake is a lie!

1) Spend Money (for mining rigs, electricity)
2) Mine BTC
3) Huh
4) Profit!
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin (?) Purchased at Walmart (STE) on: August 28, 2011, 03:03:40 AM
How to mimic current events:

1) Go home and label your toilet "MyBitcoin.com".
2) Eat the Bitcoin.
3) "Deposit" the Bitcoin.
4) Enjoy the lulz.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Ewe, you forgot to flush!
1069  Economy / Goods / Re: USER: THYDUDE IS IN THE HOSPITAL. on: August 28, 2011, 03:00:11 AM
This seems like a double edged sword.

1) OP's account was stolen.
2) OP is telling the truth, but doesn't care if other users post false info.
2.1) Unless, OP has information and wants verification.
2.1.1) OP's original owner can verify transactions.
2.1.1.1) If so, why doesn't OP's original owner just say "I'm in the hospital?"

1072  Economy / Goods / Re: SELLERS! Automatically updating price for your ad! on: August 28, 2011, 12:50:18 AM
Bored to update prices for your products? Use my script, it will automatically change the price Smiley
Example: Random Stuff, price:

How to use
Just paste this code:
Code:
3 decimals: [img]http://pricecounter.hostzi.com/img.php?p=PRICE_IN_DOLLARS[/img]
2 decimals: [img]http://pricecounter.hostzi.com/2.php?p=PRICE_IN_DOLLARS[/img]
or put it on your own server: http://pastebin.com/aa7aSpdR (You need verdana.ttf in same folder)

Version 0.02 8/18/2011
Added one more decimal, new font, font size fixed. Only cosmetic changes so far, will do other stuff after some sleep. Stay tuned!

Do you like my script? Donate few cents to poor coder! Thanks Smiley

It would be great if you could license it specifically - so I know what I can do with it.

It's a web server so AGPL might be a good idea
But it's fairly short and "obvious" so WTFPL might be even better
Don't worry about the licensing.
This has been publicly released.
Somewhere...OP, don't make me look for it. >.>

1075  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How would you engineer this fan setup? on: August 27, 2011, 11:12:58 PM
I only see three.
I'll try to sketch something up.

Also, depends on how hot the cards will get.
Where you will be putting the case...etc.
1076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Voucher [Mt.Gox] on: August 27, 2011, 10:58:11 PM
This strikes me a foolish waste of BitCoins, but the entrepreneurial spirit is strong here.
It wasn't even a whole bitcoin.
I've wasted ~15-20 in ponzi schemes. Tongue
That's also pretty foolish.  Would you have done it with your local currency?  If so, you may be a fool.

Also, I would happily manage your BitCoins for you. Tongue
Yes; yes I would have.
0.05 BTC is roughly 0.425 USD, so yeah...

FFFuuu...I can't delete this stupid topic.
I only wanted to do it for a few post, give out the code, and go asleep.
Seems no one wants money.

I'm going to sleep.
Mods, delete this thread whenever you feel like it.
1080  Other / Beginners & Help / Free Voucher [Mt.Gox] on: August 27, 2011, 05:44:22 AM
So...I was trying to figure out how the voucher system worked;
I created a voucher for 0.05 BTC and now know how it works. I'm left with a 0.05 BTC voucher...

Reply bellow for why you should get it Smiley
