1761  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Any good CPL/CPA Networks? on: April 24, 2016, 04:13:42 PM
Any of the biggest networks will do. Peerfly, NeverBlue, etc.. I'm pretty sure there'll be publishers/affliates willing to promote your offer/generate leads in the BTCBTCBTC niche.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Play-Off Discussion on: April 24, 2016, 12:06:07 PM
san antonio will finish this and make some relax on there next round I don't see any good fight that will happen against memphis even playing at home ML and handicap can be cover with this game SA vs Mem.

True, no point in taking a gamble for Pop to risk losing the game. He needs to win this one and prep for the next round early. Rest is a bonus worth fighting for in the playoffs.
1763  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: April 24, 2016, 11:17:28 AM
I use bitcoin as a place to store some of my wealth just in case thd world economic system hits the proverbial shit fan...

Well by then you think BTCBTCBTC wouldn't be affected? Wouldn't there be some kind of panic selling too?
1764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fasten your seatbelts: now it begins... on: April 23, 2016, 05:05:52 PM
It's having a series of new highs and lows. Probably when this movement is all over again, the price would be at a new higher floor. Kinda hoping that this would be a cycle - break, then new highs, then break again, till the halving.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Play-Off Discussion on: April 23, 2016, 04:26:19 PM
Kawhi Leonard is the first player with 30 points, 5 blocks and no turnovers in a playoff game since Shaquille O' Neal on May 20, 2000.
I love how NBA take statistics. Cheesy

Another defensive player of the year award for Kawhi again too. Pretty excited for the upcoming Spurs-GSW match-up if Steph returns healthy in their series.  Grin Grin Grin
1766  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining Centralization Concerns on: April 22, 2016, 03:53:27 PM

the solution. expand the manufacturing and get more rig manufacturers on the market. which will trickle down as more choice, and more options and also a price war on the rigs. which will result in cheaper rigs to allow for more chance of competition.

Where is silicon valley folks? All those manufacturing plants...

Dont let them go to waste, they should start producing cheap mining equipment for americans and europeans.

Even if you produce cheap mining equipment elsewhere besides China, operating costs such as electricity and manpower would still kill your profits. In all honesty the only situation that can keep mining as decentralized as possible is for the difficulty to remain stable.

They have had volumes in the thousands on certain days, then it goes right back down to tumbleweed again very rapidly.

Give it time guys, I'm not sure why, but they're not advertising as much as they should. Their plans for customer acquisition must be revamped, a good product w/o proper marketing is nothing at all.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll try to pay my dentist with BTC on: April 22, 2016, 11:35:03 AM
At the end of the month, I'll fly to Budapest for some heavy dental work, and I'm planning to pay with BTC. Has anyone ever paid his/her dentist with BTC? The dentist I'll see mostly has foreign patients traveling to Hungary because it's much cheaper, so BTC would be convenient for many of them. Any argument I could use to convince my dentist?

Unfortunately my dentist would most certainly just laugh at me asking himself what the hell I'm talking about.

Same story over here, although a workaround is to have him/her use BitPay as a payment method. I doubt it'll work though. Here in the Philippines, there's a service that allows you to request bitcoin payments and the customer would simply pay you over convenience stores/pawnshops. Works for online shops.

@ontopic Update us on your dentist's reply. This'll be fun.
1769  Economy / Speculation / Re: CHOO CHOO! "Bitcoin payments are coming soon to Steam" on: April 22, 2016, 10:53:08 AM
http://coinjournal.net/bitcoin-coming-steam/

Valve confirmed that Steam will accept Bitcoin.

Quote
We have heard back from Valve. They confirmed that the letter was sent from them to developers and publishers on Steam, stating simply “Here is the note we sent to dev and publishers about it.”

So that's really some great news!

Finally, it's been months since there were rumors about this. Glad it finally happened. Next stop, Amazon.  Grin Grin Grin

1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Play-Off Discussion on: April 22, 2016, 07:51:00 AM
Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors. 3rd leg, i think Rockets spread will be good. and over points too.
Dallas Mavericks vs Oklahoma City Thunder. 1-1, and i think Thunder will win this match.

I believe Houston can win one game at home. Taking Houston with the handicap will be great choise

to win on home yes but taking handicap maybe little risky i hope that you know what you doing they play vs GSW after all

It's a 1 point win for HOU, It's good seeing that Harden is becoming more experienced and does not choke easily when the situation needs him. This would really boost the confidence of the Rockets, which means we'll be seeing more of Curry next game.
1772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption and it's future. on: April 22, 2016, 07:31:16 AM
Coins.ph is doing a wonderful job in getting bitcoin used here in the Philippines. Bills, phone credits, payments, remittances, and more. The only thing I really need right now here is a bitcoin debit card that I can use locally.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin Andresen's AMA on 8btc 21th April on: April 21, 2016, 12:26:03 PM
Is there a video documentary for this? I'd like to check it out a bit.
1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: 440$ reached on: April 21, 2016, 04:06:25 AM
Mmmm or it can be just another minipump to around 450 to go down again like it has happened 2-3 times before recently. I will hold some, but will sell some too just in case it goes lower again.

Even if it is a minipump, what's important is that the price trend's going up. New higher floors are being maintained, and the tech developments are becoming felt. This halving price hike isn't like the last one, this time bitcoin and the blockchain is much more mature.
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Play-Off Discussion on: April 21, 2016, 04:01:54 AM
Charlotte - Miami matchup, Miami makes no mistakes and get 2-0 from home. Don't expect surprise from this match.
Detroit - Cleveland matchup, we saw a tough in first match, but Detroit couldn't end it well. Tonight if they'll play like first game they have a chance. They just need to learn how to play 4th quarters in playoffs.
Portland - Clippers matchup, Portland can make a surprise if bench help Dame Dolla. Otherwise it would be an easy game for Clippers.

Both Miami and CLE got their 2-0s, kind of expected as this is the east, and these are higher seeded teams. What's gonna make the east exciting is how IND will try to make their name again in the conference.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Help Mexicans to Overcome Trump’s Border Wall on: April 20, 2016, 04:27:25 PM
Hilary and Trump are both bad choices, they are both protectionists meaning its going to stifle trade and create more regulations to do business with the States.
Really dislike Hilary and see her on the same level as Trump. When you think that both parties ran some one that was a bit more wacky as opposition to appease the voters.
It will not work next election but I am sure we will have a few terrorist attacks to rally around to vote Hilary in the second term when it comes time.
Its a pretty well scripted plot.

Woah easy on the conspiracy theories there cowboy. But you're right, Trump is the perfect example of what's wrong with the thinking of conservative people and Hilary's a good example of an elitist. I like Bernie with his ideals, especially regarding the campaign funds. People need to see that most businessmen see these campaign 'donations' as investments.

@ontopic Bitcoin's main purpose was for these kinds of situations anyway.
1777  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How else can i monetize my internet connection? on: April 20, 2016, 08:13:54 AM
Try social sharing, the one where you get points for sharing and tweeting stuff then you can cash those points out, or sell them.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Play-Off Discussion on: April 20, 2016, 08:09:45 AM
Guys, you think MEMPHIS can win with +18.5 advantage today against SPURS?
Stay away from that, I don't trust memphis cover as well as SAS to cover theirs. That huge point spread can easily be manipulated in the organization will play. My advice is go with the over/under.

Well, the 94-68 SAS victory is real commanding for the series. The griz's getting old, they can't get their grit-and-grind play to the next level. I'm thinking this is gonna be a 4-1 thing.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It looks like the community is supporting Bitcoin on: April 20, 2016, 07:51:19 AM
Not that great of an article. I'd like to get an article out about how Bitcoin can help us not depend on banks. People need to get the "Bitcoin is used for crime" and the "Bitcoin is dead" and the "blockchain is the only useful thing about Bitcoin" out of their heads, and see that the real value in Bitcoin is that you own and control your own money and don't depend on banks.
And then yes, people will see that there is a true need for Bitcoin, more than buying gift cards or stuff on Overstock.

It's still good for publicity, it's on Yahoo.

I've always assumed the nay-sayers are either late adopters or government shills trying to manipulate progress.

Doesn't help we've got plebs like Andresen and Heard muddying the waters....

Even Warren Buffet said peeps should stay away from btc. Yet here it is still fighting.
1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: April 19, 2016, 02:15:00 PM
The bitcoin price is now slowly going up in price, after a long time of waiting and hoping that the price is going to change. It is finally time, the price is moving and Bitcoin users are getting exciting again.

I'm not sure if it's about time. If this movement is because of the upcoming halving then it's pretty early. I'd presume this is simply a pump by some big guy to get things moving?
