I have 32 shares in R17 at $3870 (5.6 btc) so think I'm screwed out of any ROI. BA took us by the hips again and is having their way with us..

If we are delayed, it will make me happier knowing that DZ was not officially made aware of this delay prior to the announcement. I suspect they are probably a little upset as well considering the preparations they were making with getting the hosting facility ready for these.

Well, unless we are getting a different deal than everyone else, I would like a refund for my 4 shares.
I think I'm done with pre-orders. After the hashfast disaster, I still figured that I could rely on Black Arrow after they delivered on time for rounds 9-12. Oh well, you live and learn.

I don't think their doing refunds - but you can trade them in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386682.0

In the first post on page 5 of this thread thomas_s stated that the co-op had a contingency plan if Black Arrow didn't ship but he couldn't go into details at that time. I think it might be time to hear that plan.

no really, this GB still has 1 month on the clock, and you already want contingencies?!

the lack of response is not good. most of the coop is round 17.
I believe there is a post from dz himself that states more then 60 percent of the money is in round 17.

If they're not shipping until May it doesn't matter if it's February yet or not. And in fact if we know we're not getting anything until May then quite frankly the sooner things move the better. The mining game isn't a slow paced thing, it's a constant sprint.

I'm fine with waiting until the end of Feb since that is what we agreed to, but Black Arrow has already stated that they aren't delivering as promised. Why wait 4 more weeks if they already have a plan in place? At this point the original end of Feb date is completely meaningless as far as having and executing a contingency plan.

Why wait 4 more weeks if they already have a plan in place? At this point the original end of Feb date is completely meaningless. Once again a response from bob, dz or thomas would be nice. At least for me in dollars/fiat even a complete self destruction of the coop starting as of the feb 1 payouts due to me would not put me in fiat red. I am quite a bit nervous due to the lack of response. If this the end: I lose 1540 round 17 I lose 155 round 1 I lose about 500 for rounds 5 + 6 I lose about 400 for rounds 9 -12 that would be about a 2500 dollar fiat loss. based on future hash current hash and btc owed to me. I am ahead about 5500 in fiat. From the earlier r5+r6 and r9-r12 payments. So worst case is my 5500 turns back into 3000 usd. I am Hoping that we get a response from the group leaders soon.

Yeah I do agree. It is a really big set back. Well like I said they have made me fiat. So no matter what happens next I do support them. But shit this is 60 percent of the groups hash and a feb to april delay is a long time.

I thought I remembered that there was some talk about a plan if BA don't deliver, but this may be dependent on something a "sting" and I am not sure how far along that project is. They would be my bet as they are a community project, which is where all my btc spend would go from now on.

Hey guys quick update - I have been on direct contact with Black Arrow in regards to the recent announced delay. They have not disappeared, taken off with the money ETC. - We will be getting the 25% extra hashrate as promised to all batch one customers (applies only to Batch 1 R17 orders) - I will be working as much as possible with them directly to further resolve this and to hopefully speed up the timeline - I will be hopefully flying out to the UK next week to meet with them all in person, just waiting on when they can have me arrive (they are finally opening their physical London office) I will to my best to bring pictures news and updates away from this meeting. I have been up a very long time last night working with this, and probably will be up late the next few days, so please excuse me if I come off as rude, just want to keep you guys as informed as possible. Either I, DZ or thomas will post updates as we can. Thank you for your patience and continued support of us

borito4 is actually bobsag3 on an old 2011 account that's somehow labeled a scammer, when it shouldn't be. bobsag3 has handled a couple thousand BTC and tons of miners on behalf of the co-op and the mining community without major issue so far. Team DZ is among the fastest mining teams in the world (esp. for an Intl. public co-op) on the biggest mining pool at the moment, under bobsag3's direction: https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings§ion=teamsI don't know all the details with the 2011 account, but if that's an unwarranted scammer tag, which is what it appears to be: I've seen this before with a new GBC whom I vetted who had negative trust before he even started posting heavily. Told him to msg. mods for help (didn't even have any neg. trust ratings from what I could see). Poor guy gave up on this cruel forum world before he could even get started...

Just checking I'm just happy to get an update. Do you know when the 25% will start mining?

Word back from bobsag3/borito4 (I want to know if there's a bomber5 or speedracer5 in his acct. stable too):
We don't know when that extra 25% will come online, but that's part of the reason why bobsag3 is taking a 2nd trip to meet up with BA (this time to the UK) to discuss our paid co-op order and minersource.net's orders and what can be done to speed up our orders.
We should have more clarity on this once he's had a chance to fly out to meet with BA next week Monday or Tuesday.
