Yes there is scams everywhere, before buying from china read feedbacks from that seller. i use aliexpress sometimes i get scammed too but i open dispute and get refund. Also there is good sellers too.
Hi batsonxl can you pls recommend a seller that's 100% reliable for me? I oy have gpu suppliers not motherboards and this days no one is reliable again I'm just trying to avoid getting scammed
Yeah sure mate. For example this seller is not scam :

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/all-wholesale-products/911662100.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000061.2.78a9159bI9CLO4

But prices are still bit high

For the same price you can get rx 480 580 with 8gb memory which is still doing 30-31mhs easy.
And also gtx 1000series life about to end just like gtx 900 did.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to power this mobo for mining on: July 30, 2021, 02:52:56 PM
No you dont need because your risers are allready powered risers.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Powering 4x Vega cards on: July 30, 2021, 02:51:28 PM
It is not enough get better psu for those beasts. Remember vegas are good cards dont mess up with cheap psus. I would recommend 1000-1200w good psu.

AMD announces Radeon RX 6600 XT at 379USD

"RX 6600 XT is equipped with Navi 23 XT GPU featuring 2048 Stream Processors, a full configuration for this GPU. The official game clock is 2359 MHz, the boost clock is 2589 MHz and 160W TBP is powered through a single 8-pin power connector.

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT launches exclusively through AIBs with their custom designs, there will be no reference design available. AMD promised that RX 6600 XT will be available on August 11th. In terms of pricing, the RX 6600 XT will cost 379 USD, exactly 100 USD more than RX 5600 XT."

https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-radeon-rx-6600-xt-with-2048-cores-and-8gb-g6-memory-officially-launches-on-august-11th

Miners say that the expected hashrate is 25-35MH

Looks like it is a better remake of the RX 580 only this time is is 8 GB GDDR6 and not GDDR5 and only because of this I think it should easily achieve that 35 Mhsh hash rate as a minimum. That is because GDDR6 is a lot more efficient than the GDDR5 memory at mining memory intensive algorithms like Ethash and the cores are not that bad compared to other higher 6000 series.
I wish people like you worked in AMD company Smiley
That would be much better rx 580 with gddr6 memory instead making this crappy cards.

rx 6600xt looks like another 30mhs card Smiley

You need ASIC to mine bitcoin. with gt740m you cant mine anything these days.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AC cooling in a farm is a bad idea on: July 27, 2021, 08:52:06 PM
Ac is best solution for cooling if electricity price low.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many riser version 009 are out there on: July 27, 2021, 08:50:55 PM
You see more capacitors because pay attenstion one has 6pin other must have only molex.
Molex has 5 volts so there is less capacitors on molex model
6pin has only 12v so there is voltage regulators and capacitors to make 12v to 5v

414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig on: July 27, 2021, 08:47:00 PM
Thank you very much for your answers and your advices.

@philipma1957 : I live in France. As suggested by @LostEcho, i will try to PM you.
@batsonxl : I watched videos on GPU mining and i am aware of the differents actions that needed to be done. The problem is that my computer isn't that powerful : i think that you are right, even if it has a very low configuration, i can try to do all the mining steps before purchasing a powerful rig.
You dont need powerful pc all you need is good video card. If you can find rtx 3060ti NON LHR or rtx 3070 NON LHR for good price it good point to start wtih them.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New GPU in China on: July 26, 2021, 09:37:29 PM
Every thing looks ok only price is not good and heatsink looks like aluminum it means it can run hotter.Well you can order 1 and test it.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Advice needed on p106-100 on: July 26, 2021, 11:34:06 AM
On ebay p106 3g was selling for 35$ and gtx1060 6g was for 120-140$ it was just 1 year ago.
it was because the market is not pumping and the supply of new cards are not terrible. but right now, and possibly a year later or at least until the next gen comes out (late 2022), i think the situation would be more or less the same.
Yes i know market was silent and price was always down. Right know we are in middle of 50/50. I never buy or sell when it is 50/50, there will be better opportunity.Of course it will not happen tomorrow or next week, this is crypto you dont know what happens next,in my experience always happened opposite what people want and believe(when people buy you must sell when people sell you buy. Right now people are buying gpus it means for me sell.Maybe im wrong so all risk people must understand.
If you have your gear then continue mining and be happy Smiley
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What should I mine on: July 25, 2021, 08:26:42 PM
Everyone keeps talking about ETH going full PoS by August but something tells me this ain't going to happen until mid 2022 but anyways I only care about making my ROI back no matter how long it takes so we have Ergo and Ravencoin
I also want the POS algorithm to start working in mid-2022 or later, but there will be problems with the difficulty bomb.
In December, it will start working, and in 3 months the miners will feel its work, and more commissions will be burned.
Therefore, most likely the developers will not postpone this event for a long time.
I came across a news this morning that the upcoming Ethereum upgrades might be postponed once again due to some issues in the system presently, ha this is what I was expecting anyways moreover it's same Ethereum team we are talking about, here is the link to the news

https://www.fxstreet.com/cryptocurrencies/news/ethereum-triple-halving-may-be-delayed-as-security-concerns-arise-202107241027
Thats awsome news mate Smiley
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's going to happen to the weak cards? on: July 25, 2021, 08:24:46 PM
Once ETH is out of the picture ( 100% on PoS ) few graphic cards like 1660 will suffer because they are actually very good for ETH mining only, unlike 3060 and those with HBM2 graphic cards which I believe are good for other algorithms

Eth will not go to pos very soon 🔜 My guess is not in 2022 but 2023.

The 6gb dag will be here in 2023 and I think 🤔 eth may finally go Pos around Oct 2023.
I just read on news this morning that the fork will be postponed 😂 due to some issues in the network, Ethereum is at it again they always do this in the past and it's still the same old them hahaha, I'm guessing they've postponed to next year, happy mining people
Thats sounds good, where did you read it?
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Advice needed on p106-100 on: July 25, 2021, 08:20:33 PM
Would you buy p106-100 or gtx1060 for ETH mining in 2021? If yes can you give me some reasons? The thing is these are the only cheap GPUs in my country right now, these cards are for 300$ each and after telling a friend he said 300$ is much for those GPUs
You have been waited until this time i think you can wait 1 more month. These cards are very old in my opinion 300$ for them is expensive. it is better wait another month for better prices.
On ebay p106 3g was selling for 35$ and gtx1060 6g was for 120-140$ it was just 1 year ago.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig on: July 25, 2021, 08:17:54 PM
Even you buy ready rig you must know basics, because you need connect and start OC stuff miners config wallet etc. For beginner you can start with your personal pc. then adding card by the time.
