When the BTC price 10K$ do mining is easier than now 7k ?
Compare the difficulty mining between BTC 10k dollar before few months , and BTC 7$ now Which best mining time ? ?
isn`t when BTC dropped that better mining ?
note : i already using Ryzen 1600 and 1060 with mobo b350 main pc since 2017
i`ll upgrade soon to ryzen gen 3 soon with mobo x570 < so i will have free mobo b350 and cpu 1600 for mining but there something like PCIe to make more than 1 gpu ? i have 1 slot gpu
1660 and 2060 not so good choice because they are expensive. rx480 and rx 580 smarter choice they are cheap and draw 90watts and also brings nearly same as 1660TI, BTC 10k worst time was to mine, i really liked mining when it was 3.2k,. but honestly it is not worth because it pays pennies now,almost every card just pennies.rx 580 at 32Mhs paing just 35cents for a day,minus electricity you do the maths. even with free electricity it brings 10dollars for a month. i have rx470 4gb msi armors and xfx 470 4gb.
Armors performing best in its history giving 30.5-30.9Mhs samsung memory. im amazed now.with modded bios i never saw this speed.
showing around 77w-85w depends on different cards.
rx 480 8gb giving 32.5Mhs
so sad 4gb will die soon.

I've heard something in a reddit mining post that if you have a rig full of 4gb cards and at least 1 8gb card, the dag would read everything as 8gb and allow those cards to mine, same would be true for 2gb cards. I never tried it so don't take my word. something interesting to research into though. That would be great if it works.I want to believe that and of course i will try it when time comes to it.i have some 8gb cards. |

Amazing to see Claymore still powering through miner updates. I can only imagine how much money he already has from all the dev fees. I wouldn't be surprised if hes already retired.

$36 million a year - this was back in 2017-2018 year!!! Currently all the mined coins are $2M USD/day. Infact 40% use claymore and his real fee is 1.3% so he earns just about 3.8 million per year. Poor Claymore. Both v14.2 do BSOD with Vega and 19.5.1 when I use -strap.

V15.0 has some bugs like gtx1060 crashing after a while and many share rejects.

Hi claymore and everyone else.
I need help with this timing straps and OC.
Im using nicehash.there is claymore 15 on it.
1st problem: i use -strap 1 into settings (extra lunch parameters) it works if i OC gpus from after burner.gets 29Mhz for rx 470.but after while every time after new DAG settings happens my cards starts use more power(wattman same result) so every time i need from after burner move slider low or high and hot apply.then again anda again happens.im tired of this, what is the problem? when it drains more power more hotter my gpu are get.
2nd problem: i cant lunch rxboost. on nicehash in extran lunch parametrs i write -strap1 -rxboost, strap works but rxboost not.
Help guys in this difficult days

update mobo BIOS Thanks for reply. mobo bios is up to date.it is ga-h110-d3a.bios ver F25.there is no other version released. my other mobo older which is msi x79a-gd45 plus has old bios working fine with gminer 1.62. What else can be problem? |

Because i read this all and i will say to you guys why you not telling the secret?instead telling 1 or 2 word you can help if you are really want to do that.
Ok let me put it right with this mobo.mobo is ok doing it is job.Big secret is CONNECT 12V TO MOBO BOTH OF THEM MUST BE CONNECTED to PSU other wise you will have problems.maybe gigabyte economy on pcb and didnt take care good supply from 24pin.
After that you can you mining mod enabled or disabled it doent matter, you must configure correct what you will use.onbord video or pci 1 video.choose what you need and start mining freely.and connect your monitor onboard or pci1 which you prefer and dont tell there is no video.
