I will not trust that PSU, it is too small for 1800watts anyway i cant say it for sure until i take it and open. Man you got so expensive GPUs and getting cheap psu not logical. Get proper PSU for those beast, good luck

Solid advice those cards cost over 1k each.

He simply should do 3 card 1000 watt psi mobo's

and run 2 mobos.

I have six slot mobos that will do 3x 3090 at 275 watts each I use a 1000 watt seasonic focus.

He could do 3 on a six slot onda board every other slot and use a 1000 watt psu easy peasy build.

or do 4 and 4 on two of these

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BTC-37-Computer-Motherboard-8-PCI-E-16X-Slots-with-Integrated-CPU-DDR3-Memory/143982166579?

these will even use cheap bitmain apw3+ psu
I saw burned corsar, seasonic, superflower, evga. Of course i sw burned chinese PSUs and server PSUs. I cant say, that the was 1 top PSU for 10 chinese - it was same, and i have to say that even top-PSU can burn and cheap PSU can work year by year.
it is better not gamble with 6 rtx 3080 on board. You saw burned psu because many people dont know what they are doing.nearly all psu are chinese but there is good china psu too. I can tell it if i open it and see what is inside. For this ximatek it is gamble there is no review what inside and power test. Server psu gets burnt because 1: they are very old and most of them are used many years.2: people load them too much. in my collection i have thermaltake 1200w people say it is bad psu but it is good for many years i dont know how people burns them. i have server psu from dell hp working many years, i have 2 chinese psu 1600w and its bigger than this one 1800w, if i pull more than 1000w from it transformer gets extremely hot (80-90) thats why i keep it 900w and it working many years. people think ooo 1800w ok then i can pull 1800w and use it then problems.on my free times i load psu before mining and test it and measure temperatures if it is cool then its good. but people have no idea how transformer gets hot really hot Smiley also coil can get 100C it is serious temps for components near that.

hehe 44g memory nice. Try another driver, or windows again try dirvers also try another miner.

Greed kills man dont forget it. 65mhs is very good result in 2021 for laptop.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-61) on: March 25, 2021, 03:33:59 PM
People looks like you are on windows. Just add more virtual memory.6gpu=60gb 8gpu =80gb maybe this it too big but for make sure Smiley it has been told many times.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH shares per minute on: March 25, 2021, 03:31:20 PM
Dont forget every share is not same, pay attention for example share found at difficulty : 1000mhs and 10Ghs. The share you found at 10Ghs has 10x more reward than 1000mhs.

768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why low mining result? on: March 23, 2021, 09:58:46 AM
Binance has real problems even you got good ethernet is not enough. Tried all only you get better result if you add letter (v) in the beginning of the pool but still shows rejected shares.
Try ethermine it will show you 90mhs hashpower but ethermine pay treshold is 0.1ETH now which can take long time to pay out.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH-Mining: is 4xGPU in one PC the same as 4 PCs with one GPU? on: March 23, 2021, 09:48:57 AM
Hello mates,

I have a couple of RX580 and would like to know if it is the same if I equip 4 computers with one GPU each, or is it better to create one "beast-machine" with 4 GPUs? The latter would cause significant extra-cost, but if the hash-rates are significantly better, that might be an option. I´d go for pool mining, and I do not mind the overhead I am having with 4 computers vs one big in terms of power and space.

Thanks for your help
roat
1 machine is better that running 4 seperate. 4 machine will consume more power 100-150w each pc. Second you will have better chance find shares with 120mhs instead 30mhs alone.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help with a mother pls! on: March 23, 2021, 04:26:54 AM
hi all, i really noob in mining, im try to create my first rig, but i dont know some mother that i can use to 5 rx580
i have this options to buy: Motherboard Msi z270 1151
                                       Mother Asrock B450 Pro4 ATX AM4
Mother MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II AM4

in case of amd, i can use a Ryzen 5 1600 AF Zen?

Thanks to all!
go with z270 and get chip cpu like clereon g3900 or g3930
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: March 21, 2021, 07:16:43 PM
Running a eig with 6× rx580's aorus on the Asus  prime 270-a and after managing to detect all 6 cards i get a restart everytime i start the miner.
No error message. It justs restarts after 15 seconds of running the miner..
I have changed risers and psu's. Switched some cards as well.
Any idea?

Ps: Running the 5.5c version on 20.11.2
If you mean the computer is restarting you got a power problem. Try using the slow dag creation command, maybe all your cards are generating the dag at the same time and activating the PSU failsafe.

How do i do that exactly?
I pasted -lidag command in the start miner file but it still restarted when initiating the dag.
Seems like a power issue yes but i cant figure exactly what.
I have switched psu's as well..

Also.. i know this might not be relevant..i tried using another miner and the pc restarted the same.
So if it is a psu failsafe issue how do i configure it in phoenix?

Tried to read the instructions but to no avail...
Anyone help? I ll be gratefull as im fighting with this all day now..

did you tried 1 by 1 gpus? is it restarst if you run only 1 gpu? you can add this -gpus 1 it will run 1st gpu
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MoreEpochs mod v1.9 [Claymore ETH miner 15] Epochs 385+ work. Vega/Polaris works on: March 21, 2021, 02:46:52 PM
Just reporting back with hashrates.
GPU's are 2 x EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3090's.

Both are capable of roughly 122.5 MH/s using roughly 350-360 watts. I can probably get that lower but haven't been able to do much tinkering yet. It's been a really hot week where I live in Australia and my memory has been getting thermal throttled on the 1st card after it hits 110c. Once we get some cooler weather I should be able to mine at a steady 122+ MH/s but for now even at night, the primary card gets thermal throttled and I can't be bothered replacing the pads, I'll save that for if I decide to watercool them haha.
If I force P0 power state they'll do 125+ MH/s but crash after an hour or so.

Thank you for feedback, good results. Hope you will get cooler weather soon enough.

The miner is performing as it used to before it died. I'm very pleased with the results. Phoenix Miner is just as good to be fair but I love that I'm able to go back to Claymore with all my config and .bat files I kept saved in case one day he miraculously came back haha.

That's my goal to make miner perfom as it used to before epoch 385. For Nvidia GPUs goal is complete, I'd even say miner perfoms better because I've fixed issues with NVML and newer Nvidia drivers, so temp/fan stats works as intended on Win10 and with newer Nvidia drivers. For AMD GPUs I still have to fix crash with -strap command on newer AMD video drivers. After that I'll add support of Linux version of the miner and we can say that miracle happened  Cheesy

Yes please give us this future with strap option, waiting for it,

I have good news for you, it's 90% done  Wink
Perfect waiting for it

It's not true that i5 2500k never made money. I am personally with this CPU get some profit mining 3Dcoin. that was two or three years ago.
in 2017 even my 3930k was making 0.6-0.8$ per day, 3770k was 0.4-0.5$.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using double power input with riser 009s on: March 17, 2021, 08:42:44 AM
Hello, I'm having problems in finding an answer to this question: can I use both of the 6 pin PCI-E connectors plugged at the same time? I'm asking that because I hope to have more voltage stability by doing that.
Thank you all!
That will not change much maybe you will get worse if you are using double psu and mix up power cables. Gpu draws from riser 50-80w which is 6pin cable ALONE can handle well enough. no need for that. there is bad risers always whatever you connect they can fail, usually buy riser like this 10 risers and 3 risers for back up.

Hi @phoenix it is nice to read your posts,
Waiting new version with straps for polaris cards. By the way 5.4c more stable than 5.5c.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with 2 HD6970 2GB on: March 17, 2021, 05:24:49 AM
Your video cards are useless in mining even with free electricity.
If you want to mine, then sell them and buy at least 2 used rx470 video cards (4GB).
When installed into a motherboard without using raisers, the hashrate can be from 18 to 25 megahash from each card.

With free electricity it's worth mining with hd69** series because these cards can do 3.47H on BTG (Zhash) and that's equals to 2.68$ per day presently, it's because these cards are old that's why most mining calculators don't show them up presently
Wooow hd6900 doing 2.68$ per day. must super duper coin that giving.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on old CPUs is back on: March 16, 2021, 01:10:21 PM
If you have any of these cpu at home it's better to star making money out of them right now before it's too late, I owned 5 different desktops and I'm making 12$ per day with free electricity

1. AMD A10 6790k 1.19$ @ 479H
2. Core i5 2500k 2$ @ 830H
3. Core i5 3470 x3.  2.99$ @ 1200H

If you have even XEON or Opteron CPU now is the right time to put them to work

Your calculator is completely wrong!
No he is right if it randomx. but it is spam i5 2500k never made money.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: March 16, 2021, 05:00:20 AM
Hey all, I have a problem with Phoenix Miner. Every time it gets to the devfee part it gets stuck and won't do anything at that point anymore and I'm forced to manually restart the miner to get it working again. I'm using Phoenix Miner on Windows 10 and Nvidia 1000 and 2000 series cards with the latest drivers.

Not sure if this is important, but my .bat-file only contains this basic info (excluded the addresses):

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool <pool address> -worker <worker name> -wal <wallet address> -pass x -proto 4 -stales 0

And this is what's typically the latest on the miner window when it gets stuck:

DevFee: Connecting to ethash pool us2.ethermine.org:14444 (proto: EthProxy)
DevFee: Connected to ethash pool us2.ethermine.org:14444 (172.65.226.101)
DevFee: New job #060677c5 from us2.ethermine.org:14444; diff: 4000MH

Otherwise the miner is working fine without any problems.

EDIT: There's one other thing. It also does the devfee process very often, like every 15-20 mins or so. It varies, but much more often it's supposed to do it. I think it was 90 mins. intervals it's supposed to do it and for like 30-40 secs.
Looks like you got fake version, delete all you got get real version try again.
