this error occurs when miner switchs to DevFee mining and can not connect to the pool
Is it any idea how to fix it?
It is virus. You probably downloaded miner from another source. If you have make fresh windows install or try clean and download miner from 1st page from developer. |

hello all ,
for the past few weeks, I have had a very low hashrate! 15mh / s and before I shot around 32mh / s.
the problem is that msi afterburner cuts itself off after 10min of mininig. and once msi AB is off I have 15mh / s.
impossible to keep it on, I don't understand, am I the only one in this case?

On the Windows operating system, the hash rate has dropped. Do not use windows 7 and windows 8. It is better to use Windows 10 and install old drivers (2080), on new drivers the hashrate is worse. Set the default settings in the MSI Afterburner, and then change the power limit to 75%. Test in this mode, you must have at least 25 mh, and then increase the memory frequency Hashrate drop off nvidia cards has nothing to do with windows -> it is a bug on Nvidia Pascal GPU´s for all OS -> but 1070ti is the only Nvidia Pascal GPU without this bug -> confirmed by Nvidia -> i posted the statement from nvidia many times!!!! No hashrate don´t drop for 1070ti!!!! All other pascal GPU´s slow down -> the 1070ti not!!!!!! 1070 ti can run to 35mh. Don´t use powerlimit to reduce the power -> reduce vcore and let powerlimit at 100% (this is the new way and better way) -> stable hashrate -> stable power consumption Hashrey is decreasing not because of Windows, but because of the installation of new drivers. These video cards mine worse on new drivers. I use hive OS because nothing is updated there without the user's permission, and in the Windows operating system, after any update, new problems constantly arise. So nvidia not only in mining also messed up with driver even in gaming. My laptop was running very smooth until i updated latest driver. laptop started very slow and game loads very long time. i used driver which was realesed in october 2020. I installed that driver back and laptop runs fast like used to be. |

yes never underestimate any altcoin.i understood it with etc. I was so surprised and very sad. because i had lots of etc and sold them cheap  i sold them 16$ sold them at 30 never thought it will pump so high.it was more profitable than eth. |

It dont need any rest. At high temperatures your components will get old faster thats why if you can keep cool then it is fine. Also you must change thermal paste every year for cpu and gpu.

which miner are you using?
phoenix miner 5.6d ok. It is better start with afterburner for newbies. aplly 1st 75 power limit dont touch clocks yet. then add in bat file in phoenix this : -straps 1 -nvmem 1 After this run bat file then on afterburner increase memory clock slowly slowly until it crashes write down all speeds and hashrate then repeat same for straps 2 and 3 find best for you. Also you can increase -vmr manually later. good luck |

You are good go if you can find cheap gpus. if i were you i will wait little bit for prices go to normal.You have limited power so it will be good choice get low TDP gpus like 3060-3070.
Well it's a kind of gamble at this point. Nobody knows when the price will go to normal (if that ever happens). Some people predict that 2022 is probably when the market will get better. At that time, crypto market might changes a lot, either being more profitable or more bearish. So that's that. yes i agree it is gamble it happen or not thats why plan B  if market turn green again and there is no gpu then plan b is buy coins. in green market 1k coin will make much profit than rtx 3060ti mining all day months. i never paid overpriced gpu till now and i will not. why support those scalpers. |

A youtuber got himself 24 pieces of RTX3060ti for MSRP price and I still find it hard to believe, left him a message to get 10 pieces of this if possible but he never replied, anyone knows how to make this happen? I know GPU mining reward is going down but I'm in for long term purpose

rx5700XT have problems with overheating memory, so you need to buy the right model. The rx5500 8gb has a worse hashrate than the rx580
I'm running on solar panels and I'm getting 1200 watts when sun is up for 9 hrs and also battery backup that can last me till the next day, I don't use grid at all, what about the Asus rx5700XT? I think that there are no coins for mining for ASICs on the ETHASH algorithm. Ethereum classic will not withstand the addition of new ASICs and the profit will be minimal, and the owners of video cards will need to look for other coins for mining.
But these ASICs continue to be successfully sold, which means that buyers have other information.
ETCHASH seems be not seriously changed ETHASH. I think it will be possible to reconfigure ASICs from ETHASH to ETCHASH. And lots of ASICs were pre-paid. May be buyers want to return their money back but will get ASICs. Ethereum(ETH) hashrate 600Tx Ethereum Classic(ETC) hashrate 28Tx ASICs will have no choice for mining after changing Ethereum to the POS algorithm. They definitely won't go mining dubai coin  100 terahesh will come to Ethereum classic and make the life of GPU miners horrible  Surely. Such mining power will destroy any coin. The own chance - if the price of ETC will grew up in 10 times or higher, but i don`t see any chance for this. It will not destroy it will like btc unprofitable to mine with gpus. You all know that it will take time to balance between miners. No profit miner stops mining. Im sure china asic miners also will stop as soon as 2.8Ghs=5$ until gets it balance between miners. If im not wrong any cpu will mine monero using randomx algorithm but profit is very low. i used to mine with my i7 3930k long time ago now it was paying good. maybe again there is alot asics on network that makes profit so low.
randomx algorithm is an asic-resistant algorithm, and it is not profitable to produce ASICs for it, because the developers will change the algorithm in a month. Developers are trying to make sure that their washes are cleaned only on processors and video cards. FPGA also poorly mine this coin. I want to believe that but when profit shows for 2.5khs=20cents per day it makes me thing it is not profitable ecpesially when monero prices are high. So who is mining this coin with so big hashrates? |

Well ETH was actually suppose to go POS back in Summer of 2016. Now 5 years later and still no POS. One thing that ETH dev team is great at is missing deadlines. So there is no concrete answer when it will go POS.
You bigger issue is that ETH sustains its >$2500 price and that the difficult stops growing. Apparently there are many high tech ETH ASICs out there and it will keep increasing the hashrate for the near future, not good for GPU miners.
POS is your last worry right now.
Good thing diff is not growing anymore im following etherscan it highest hashrate was recorded at 650TH now it is slowly going down today 600TH.So far we know eth dev team will do nothing about asics so we all need prepaired for low profit. The latest asics will make profit way too low this time i think. Last bearmarket there wasnt so powerfull asics but now they are serious. When 160Mhs asic deployed it was low but now people talking about asics at 2-2.8Ghs it 20x more powerfull than it used to be. |

Download proper bios from techpowerup and flash it back. You dont need any bios mode to get 30mhs.
After that turn compute mode on and apply on amd driver fast memory timing 1 or 2 then make your oc and be happy, there is no need mess with bios for polaris cards anymore. good luck

I understand you want to learn but for this you need proper gpu like gtx 1660s or rx 470 480 570 580 with 6g-8g. Why you need proper gpu? Because you can run many tests and learnt other wise with gt 710 nothing. |
