With the new size of dag 383 there is some way to have full hashrate on 4gb cards or to improve my hashrate?

--4g-alloc-size 4080 --keepfree 5             Epoch 382: 385MHS
--4g-alloc-size 4080 --keepfree 5             Epoch 383: 358MHS

All this on a 13 RX570 4GB RIG

Just want you to know, that --keepfree 5 is not needed any more when 4G alloc size is set  - at least not in Linux, only for Windows it would make a difference (but Eth is pretty dead on Windows already)
The decrease to 93% of original speed is pretty normal here for epoch 383 kicking in, since 382 did fit perfectly to the memory, but 383 does no longer. Thats the fate with Zombie mode, it will decrease on every further epoch - at least on the 4G cards :/

thanks for help. Driver crash? what can be done to fix this? 1.15 works ok no crash.

No, pretty sure this is no driver crash. Rather something in pool communication that went wrong, because it did crash exactly the moment where it did submit a share and was waiting for pool response. I will compare the code to see if there is some bug in (but this should not be changed for 1.17 ... hmm ... anyways, I will double check it)
Lolliedieb thanks for looking. on post  #1742 shared screenshot this exactly same error i get too. i have to restart miner then again stops.

I got to ask. Is it true that all cryptos are contributing to mass global warming in the world? just wondering..  Huh
1 car can deliver to atmosphere more than 500gpu heat can.and also car has co2 exhaust too which adds more heat

my lolminer stops mining on this screen, I have to close it and open it manually to return to normal, and the cycle is repeated ...
Can someone help me?

https://ibb.co/093wCfC

That's a driver crash. I do the following  in you bat file

:loop
Lolminer lane as you have now
goto loop

This will auto restart

would my command line look like this?

lolMiner.exe --coin BEAM --pool beam-us.leafpool.com:3333 --user 2ebaa3bd8b37f6022eb787fb5e9c671752faa1700687eb333e7b4f29e329c73d882.telker
loop
Change it too:
:loop

lolMiner.exe --coin BEAM --pool beam-us.leafpool.com:3333 --user 2ebaa3bd8b37f6022eb787fb5e9c671752faa1700687eb333e7b4f29e329c73d882.telker

goto loop
thanks for help. Driver crash? what can be done to fix this? 1.15 works ok no crash.

hello people.
I have small issue. after 2-4hours mining there is no crash nothing miner says press any key to continue and exit. then i press again bat file conitune mining. why miner stops? or is there any way i can restart it automatically? thanks

hi guys,
Can anyone share kawpow and beam oc setting for rx 470-480-570-580 cards on lolminer for best result? thanks
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any results for RX 6900 XT ? on: December 17, 2020, 07:41:51 AM
Since all these 6000 series giving same hashrate can we count on upcoming rx 6700  Grin i mean for cheaper same 60mhs

Safe to assume depending if they keep the 256bit bus or go for the 192bit bus like the 5600xt.

That would be super lousy of them if they decrease to 192 bit.

They have cache, they will go for lower binned memory for maximum profit on their side while that cache keeps up in gaming, amd is focused on gaming, not mining this time.

yep 192bits. so it will be around 50mhs?
https://www.igorslab.de/en/amd-radeon-rx-6700-xt-as-a-real-time-beat-monster-exclusive-leaks-first-board-partner-biose-sample-beat-rates-and-tgp/
it is very stupid from AMD because gamer will buy 1 card but miner will get min 6cards.

There are plenty of alternatives like this Trexminer Lolminer Gminer Phoenixminer don't panic people, hopefully the developer Claymore is not dead, but if anyone knows the source code of claymore it would be good to upgrade it to a better version.

yeah could be very nice if someone continue claymores work.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I built my first mining rig and it cant mine ANYTHING, please help :) on: December 16, 2020, 06:54:29 PM
gtx970 will mine beam no problem, but if you are paying electricity then it is not profitable, assuming you are using win10.
if you have no idea go with nicehash.
1, go nicehash and sign up, you just need email address.
2,download nicehash miner.
3,run benchmark
4,you will see alots of algorith may not work, but some of them will work, just dont forget turn of firewall and add exeption to windows defender.
5,also download msi afterburner set power limit to cards otherwise you will end up high power usage.

Hi guys whats up?
Can someone tell me please how to choose GPUS. for example i want to mine on gpu2 and gpu5. thanks

You should try:
--devices 2,5
Thanks  Cool

@Claymore, any plans to support new ETC algo?

Russian mafia killed claymore and stole his millions of coins. He hasn't logged on in over a year...

Is it a joke? or real news based on some proofs/evidences?
is is a joke. if mafia killed him then why his devfees are untouched. wouldnt they get all money?
2options left since he has not been posting anything around 1 year now.
1.he just left abounded us.
2.he is dead. i wish it is not true.
What other options can be people?

I doubt that 5700 will stay stable at 90w giving 54mhs ok lets say it is stable at 90w giving you.

Enough proof?

https://imgur.com/a/Gyv7gko

Could you please post all your clock & voltage settings? TIA
he will not post that. also he has bios modified. Dude i said ok lets say it is stable. besides i dont believe wattage that miner and gpu-z shows because one of my rx480 shows 62watts and hashing at 31mhs which impossible 62w.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining vs. buying ETH analysis using Bitinfocharts raw data on: December 13, 2020, 07:29:46 AM
in crypto investment shouldnt be in 1 direction. lets say you want invest 2000$, 50/50 you should invest example 1000$ for mining gear 1000$ buying coins,
with coins also same as soon as you got them you play with them. when eth goes down you buy, when it goes up you sell by the time 1000$ gets 2000$ just selling and buying Smiley

Hi guys,
Does any one know how to set core memory speed and voltage on bat file?thanks

Hi! Sorry, we don't support setting clocks/voltages/timings in the miner, we're relying on mining os distros and tools like OverdriveNTool or MSI Afterburner on win. We do have it on the roadmap, but it most probably won't happen before the ongoing crazy 4GB period has slowed down.
ok understood. will be very cool if you can add this. thanks for your time

what about stpraps for polaris cards?

is this miner faster than Claymor or phoenix for nvidia 1070  ?

Claymore and Phoenix are know to "inflate" their hashrate. Also with Claymore you will not be able to mine very soon ETH, and now you are not able to mine ETC for example.

At the end you should try to see Shares at the pool... you are payed for Shares at the pool always. With Phoenix is true that you will see a higher hashrate at the client, but this is not the real hashrate. You should check the shares you send to the pool. When you make this test, you will see that the shares are lower with PhoenixMiner. Why?.

1- Highrate is nearly 3 inflated with Phoenixminer
2- DevFee, with Phoeneix you are loosing lot more time in the DevFee, because he generated another time the DAG. In a 1070 that is nearly 10s, each time he makes the Fee + Fee + Regenerate new DAG to continue mining.

At the end this is a high time less mining. So Shares at the pool are lower at the end with Claymore or PhoenixMiner

i tried phoenix for eth mining and i didn't see another dag generation when devfee starts, dag was generated only one time at miner's start. Will try to check your info about shares, thanks

What is devfee percent in lolminer? i can't find any info about how high is devfee ?

0.7% you can see it in the Github too.

About the difference... There are others post more detailed, but a simple example I made in a small rig with 4 Cards... More than 24hours running. Same server same cards, same OC...

212.97 Mhs Software lolMiner vs 217,12Mhs Software with PhoenixMiner... that mean I should earn nearly 2% more with PhoenixMiner...

The reality is:
2159 Shares with lolMiner vs 2092 with PhoenixMiner. Difference 3% between numbers of shares, 3 %more money with lolMiner, we are payed by shares in the pool not for the Mhs...

I know we all like to see lot of Mhs but the reality is other... Also the Watts are more in PhoenixMiner compare to lolMiner too but that is another point, to talk about.
results are good thanks for sharing. 1 question how can i set core memory voltage speed on lolminer?
