bitminter has my bitcoins/namecoins and site staff/ owner is ignoring me

I was a little behind on support messages.

I wasn't ignoring you or trying to steal your coins. Don't you think it was a little early to assume so?

Do a reset on CGM.

Should help but pool shows alive for me even though I use BitMinter as a failover.

To be decided...

    Hi DrH,

I've just had a question to which I can't remember the answer:

How come Bitminter is listed as Merged mining = No  ?

It says it right there in the post you linked to:

[...]
[/li][li]Merged mining - get namecoins for free while you make bitcoins[/li][/list]
[..]

Can you help me out here? I really can't remember that far back!

Happens we have all pushed that button once in a while when it comes to BTC/ Alt coins.  Myself included.

You say:

[...]
i have some antminers running on bitminterclient with no problems
[...]

So, if you have other miners running on bitminter, I doubt your problem is because of the pool uptime? The pool can not be "dead", if you can run other equipment on the exact same pool.

Also from the website description https://bitminter.com/ (scroll down to reward system)

and from personal experience: The pool list needs updating  Wink

that;s the weird part it only shows dead in cgminer
if i try to point it at bitminter it shows waiting for work from pool for a few minutes then black's out.
when i point it to btcguild there's no problem and starts mining within a few seconds

edit/ up and running again found it was a classic workername typo Roll Eyes

I thought Bitminter was listed with merged mining already.

Looks like the pools list needs updating. Bitminter is merged mining namecoins.

A buddy of mine had a similar problems for 3 days. He could connect n mine at other pool but not at bitminter, his mistake was... He fat finger the address "mint.bitmimter.com".  Instead of bitminter...
