1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic on some hodler and sellers on: November 24, 2018, 06:19:50 AM
When is growth?

as soon as useful cryptocurrencies start being created. otherwise we have all these shitcoins and shittokens that are being created every day and the only way they can go up in price is if they are pumped by fooling a bunch of kids into putting their money in those useless coins. and that kind of rise/pump obviously can not last long.

in other words this "growth" you are looking for, based on current market situation will only come when they start pumping altcoins again and to pump them they first need to dump them.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP outperformed Ethereum in capitalization on: November 24, 2018, 06:09:12 AM
it is only because ethereum's situation is that much worse compared to XRP otherwise they are both getting dumped and they are both centralized and shitcoins. the problem comes from the fact that ICOs have been dying and the old ones have been making their exit by dumping their free coins they received when they raised funds. and that means a massive dump.
and when an altcoin is in a bubble still and starts getting dumped, the dump is always big like this and unless ETH reaches 2 digits numbers, it won't become stable and will continue going down.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing is believing on: November 24, 2018, 05:54:28 AM
if you really think that then what you are doing is not really investing, it is gambling.

investing is investigation, experience, analysis, timing, planning and finally a tiny bit of luck. none of it has anything to do with silly things such as "believing" and basically putting your head in the sand.
if you can't do that then you should not invest at all unless you like losing money.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: crytpto hedgefunds are shutting down massively on: November 24, 2018, 05:43:33 AM
that is what happens when newbie idiots enter a business that they have no understanding of or experience in and then claim to be "experts" in it. obviously their business fails and then they have to blame it on something else like bitcoin price!
the thing is, all these hedge funds nonsense were useless to begin with and majority of them would have failed and shut down eventually even without bitcoin drop.
1325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jaime Dimon, Warren Buffett have the last laugh? This article will make you mad on: November 24, 2018, 05:34:30 AM
maybe i have seen too many FUDs that this one doesn't matter at all but it didn't do anything to me when i read it. this is yet another nonsense written by someone who either has zero understanding of bitcoin or has some hidden agenda for spreading this kind of nonsense in his article. in either case it doesn't really matter! idiots have been calling bitcoin "ponzi" and worse over the years and it is still growing stronger despite all that.
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation? Laws? Bans? on: November 24, 2018, 05:23:47 AM
What are your concerns when I comes to Cryptocurrency and?   Regulation?  laws? bans?

Rules?

I have no concerns about regulation, laws, bans, or rules. The world can't ban cryptocurrency. Likewise, users of cryptocurrency shouldn't do so solely to evade tax laws. If we (as crypto users) plan to break the law to evade tax laws we should expect governments to break the laws to ban this "project".

The only thing that worries me about cryptocurrency is the market...the demand. That's it. That's all we should care about.

something that can't be banned, restricted,... will always have demand. in fact a demand that is only increasing so your concern is not logical in my opinion. and we should not confuse the real demand with the price movement. it is not the whole indication. price moves based on speculative demand, but the demand as in adoption of bitcoin is still ongoing even when price falls.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BTC crash is good news for Altcoins on: November 22, 2018, 07:37:15 AM
"...the alternative cryptocurrency market could take its own direction getting rid of the BTC influence.
the only way altcoins can stop getting dumped each time bitcoin goes down is IF they start having real usages apart from being pump and dump coins and purely be for speculation. and until they change that, they will remain the same.

Quote
The big caps altcoin response has been amazing so far."
with a quick look at the charts you can clearly see that it is pure nonsense. any altcoin out there got dumped the same whether they had big market cap or low market cap. for instance ETH got dumped a lot more than bitcoin percentage wise!
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is back green, are these signs of a bull run? on: November 22, 2018, 07:30:40 AM
if you mean pumps, then the pumps have been happening all year long and the pumpers don't sit around waiting for you to notice them. they pump shitcoins all year every year. but the thing is, last year the top coins like ETH, XRP,... got big pumps but they never got completely dumped so they still need to be dumped some more but the smaller coins that you never look at got even bigger pumps than the top coins with the difference that they easily got dumped and finished reaching bottom so they have been ready for pumps and they got pumped this year too.
1329  Economy / Speculation / Re: CSW's "hash wars" impact on BTC price? on: November 22, 2018, 07:25:57 AM
...
It showed that users mattered in Bitcoin during the proposed 2X hard fork by signers of NYA which had the biggest mechants and, I believe, by the people who controlled more than 50% of the hashing power. Bitcoin Cash does not have that philosophy.

the biggest thing that the 2x shenanigans proved was that everyone who is involved in bitcoin (users, nodes, miners, businesses,...) care too much about bitcoin and they don't want to destroy it by splitting it into two because of some nonsense argument, and ruin it forever.

in comparison you can see nobody cares about BCash so they easily split it into two and ruin it even more that it already is.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will everything change? on: November 21, 2018, 05:40:44 AM
first of all ranking on coinmarketcap.com does not matter at all. only newbies care about it because they don't understand how the market works and have to cling to anything meaningless to justify their actions. and now the market has so few newbies as the dumps have flushed mot of them out.

secondly XRP is also a shitcoin just like ethereum with a huge premine and centralization. they are completely similar when it comes to investment too with the difference that XRP has a much much lower price which makes pumping it a lot easier.

nothing is going to change. they both remain pump and dump shitcoins and will eventually reach bottom and start getting pumped after a while. and then again get dumped. if you want profit then learn how to use the pump and dumps to your own advantage.
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?) on: November 21, 2018, 05:29:31 AM
for ETH i am mostly concerned about the fork that it has. it is a hard fork to basically kill mining and the miners have never looked good upon these actions and they may act out. we will either see them dump a very large amount of Ether on the market can crash the market or we also end up seeing two chains coexist with the PoS chain having trouble and that would make a total of 3 ethereum chains because of 2 forks!
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with ETH? My theory. on: November 21, 2018, 05:17:10 AM
you are wrong because you are missing the math which is the only reason why this ranking exists and keeps useless coins on top and is in fact the only reason why market capitalization is a wrong and fake characteristic to be used for ranking cryptocurrencies!

fact #1
it is always easier to pump a coin that has a lower price than to pump a coin with higher price.
XRP is worth <10k satoshi while ETH is worth 2.9 million satoshi.
the dump of a coin with higher price is also more severe than a dump of a coin with lower price.

fact #2
market cap is price * supply
XRP has 40 billion useless tokens in circulation while ETH has 103 million useless token in circulation so XRP should have a bigger market cap! and that is one of the main reasons why it is meaningless.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you buying? on: November 21, 2018, 05:11:32 AM
at $6k!
i know we are below it but that is the price where i was buying because everything pointed to it being the bottom and i still refuse to believe this drop is natural and not manipulation.
as for more buying, i would wait until the market calms down and it becomes clear that the manipulators have stopped manipulating the price and then i will restart buying bitcoin again.

my goals are long term so it doesn't matter that much for me at what price i buy.
1334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why does the Bitcoin price keeps nose diving? on: November 21, 2018, 04:55:26 AM
the drop started only because of the FUD and panic of the altcoin fork called bitcoin-cash and that has been harming the stability of bitcoin price ever since. and when the price enters lower values by breaking a strong buy support the drop becomes bigger because the support below that line is no longer strong and the panic is also added to the mix until it reaches another strong buy support. that is why the drop has been like this so far.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WITH OVER 2000 COINS/TOKENS DO YOU STILL TRUST CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTMENT?? on: November 19, 2018, 07:11:33 AM
if i tore out a piece of paper from my notebook and write a number on it, that piece of paper doesn't become a currency. the same thing is true with cryptocurrencies. they may carry the name "currency" or "coin" but they are not a real currency. that is where the term "shitcoin" comes in.

as for investment, you have to decide what project you think is legit. for me it is only bitcoin.
or you have to decide whether you are looking for profit only. in which case you shouldn't care about how many shitcoins there are, you should only care about how to detect the pumps before they occur and make the profit you want fast and get out.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-11-17]What We Know About Bitcoin Cash’s Two Rival Blockchains on: November 19, 2018, 06:59:06 AM
To me it looks like SV hasn't been fully acknowledged as BCH since some exchanges aren't listing it and others like most notably Bittrex have dubbed ABC as BCH.

that is always true about all the altcoins. people never take them seriously even if they use the name "bitcoin" in their altcoin names. and as for exchanges we all know that they only do what is best for them and always aim for making the most profit. not listing forks like this can mean a lot of money for them as they take the forked coins. additionally it is always about volume with exchanges. they will add coins with high liquidity to make the most profit not any coin with low volume.
in this case there is risk of money loss because of the war that is going on between the forks.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thai’s Minister Calls For More Crypto Regulations on: November 19, 2018, 06:51:02 AM
if the regulations can make crypto better, why don't we support it? I will do anything to make crypto acceptable to everyone and the government. even though you have to agree with even the odd rules.

because regulations will NOT make crypto any better.
but sadly sometimes they are needed to prevent scammers from running wild and scamming everyone that is in this market specifically newbies. and so far people have proven that they are incapable of regulating themselves and need government intervention so that scams such as ICOs can no longer rob people.
1338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we destined for Doomsday? on: November 19, 2018, 06:29:34 AM
if bitcoin died each time a newbie called for a doomsday then it should have died at least 5000 times in the past 10 years. each time price drops someone comes up with some reason to call for a doomsday and call it "end of bitcoin" as you did here and all the while the wise people continue accumulating bitcoin. next thing you know the topics shift from "is it the end of bitcoin" into "i am sad because i missed out on buying bitcoin, now it is too expensive".
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after ETH goes POS? on: November 18, 2018, 06:55:17 AM
just like any hard fork, this one is also very risky. that is why they are always undesirable in a system like this. i wouldn't touch ETH during that time unless i see some really big pump going on which means there can be a lot of profit in that pump. in that case i would buy some on exchanges, keep it there and sell it fast to get the profit out in case there was a big crash afterwards and the pump was an exit scam.

as for ETH-POW and POS, we can't predict what happens now. we may end up seeing miners remain on the main chain and keep ETH alive and say they don't want PoS. and since miners are controlling Ethereum you may end up with 2 sets of coins which you can sell and enjoy the profit.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May be a good time to buy doge on: November 18, 2018, 06:49:08 AM
nah, Doge doesn't seem good anymore with all these shitcoins around that can get pumped more than 500% in one day. how much can they pump Doge at this point anyways? 10%? that is not a pumping profit percentage that can interest me or majority of altcoin traders so i wouldn't really go near Doge unless i see some miracle happen and it gets a real pump.
