1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP IS A SECURITY, LITECOIN HAS ‘NO REASON TO EXIST,’ ETHEREUM IS THE BEST — SAY on: July 01, 2018, 05:53:09 AM
when you are bagholding some shitcoin you will obviously be defending it blindly because your profit is at stakes. that has been the case with the ETH bag holders who are getting more desperate every day for recovering the huge amount of money that they have lost so far.
the Multicoin Capital that is saying this bullshit is heavily involved with ETH and the ICO scams that are taking place using this token which is why they are so pro-ETH here.
by the way ETH is the worst long term play because of its inflation and the fact that it has no cap.

LTC has no reason to exist but it does and it has been existing much stronger than ethereum had ever existed!

Ripple is nothing. it is shit in fact. because it is not only not a currency but also it is  heavily centralized. no one in their right mind will ever choose a centralized coin issued by a company when there is government issued centralized  currency and also decentralized currencies like bitcoin.
in fact i would say Ripple has no reason to exist.
1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do you think Altcoin can last for next 5 years? on: July 01, 2018, 05:33:34 AM
define what you mean by "last"?

there are altcoins that have lasted for many years now. they have no usage, rarely a transaction is happening on their chains, there is no hashrate anymore (some aren't even being mined anymore), their price has been  falling and now they are worth less than 1 satoshi!
but they still exist, they are being traded and pumped and dumped.
with this definition all the altcoins will "last" for next 5 years.

but if by "last" you mean they go up in price, increase their usability, adoption,... then no 99% of the altcoins you see and possibly hold will die by the end of this year let alone next 5 years.

come clean (with yourself) about what you really want. if it is profit you want then bag holding shitcoins for 5 years is not going to give you any profit.
1843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a renounce yet? on: July 01, 2018, 05:27:12 AM
in order for a rise to start we first need to break some barriers (resistances) and some say it is about $6400 but i think it is about $400 above that market and closer to $7000 before the rise starts. i reckon if we reach $6700 the price will shoot up to $8000 like last time and that will be our rally. mostly because of the large number of people who are waiting to FOMO buy bitcoin with the smallest green light.
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it ok to convert my BTC savings to Tether when the price is high? on: July 01, 2018, 05:07:25 AM
wow wasn't expecting this much replies, thank you every one.
I guess I'm late into this... anyway looks like this is a normal practice and FUD about tether is wrong. Now I have to wait for ATH and god knows when it will come hehehe

FUD about Tether was not completely wrong. there are some good points in there too, some real issues with Tether and the company. but the FUD added other stuff to both exaggerate it and create panic among investors to crash bitcoin price using that panic.
you still need to be cautious when using USDT since the fact that it is shady doesn't  change.
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this is Bull trap on: June 30, 2018, 05:14:08 AM
= most are predicting 5000$ is bitcoin lower so ready for it.

a lot of people are "predicting" a lot of weird shit. if you want to believe whatever others are saying then you will end up with your pockets empty. there are a lot of others saying price will fall to $3000. there are a lot of others saying it will fall down to $1000. and there are a lot of others saying it will rise to $10k,.... and so on.

=accumulation period also now

it can not be both an accumulation phase and a bull trap at the same time!!!

for most altcoins this most probably IS a bull trap because they are still at least another 40-50% above their real value and they need to go down before the dumping ends.
1846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons To Collect And Hodl Bitcoin At Current Price For Long Term on: June 30, 2018, 05:07:05 AM
these honestly don't seem like valid reasons for the long term rise and some of them are probably not even correct like the Big investors coming in. if they wanted to come in they have already done that without anybody noticing. they won't cause any rise because they want to buy cheapest possible.

the price will rise because bitcoin adoption in general is growing while its supply is still limited. bitcoin is a revolution in financial systems and it consequently will take a long time to reach its full potential. the price we are currently seeing is nothing but a small fraction of that.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Triple bottom: yes or no on: June 30, 2018, 04:58:38 AM
i think yes, mainly because this seems to me like the last squeeze to get the last drops of blood out of the market and since there aren't that any weak hands left to panic sell and there has also been a lot of good news and lot of buys we may see a reversal.

but the problem is with the unpredictability. we have seen time and time again a lot of analysis that pointed to end of some trend (both end of rise and end of drop) but we saw it be defied and broken again.
1848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s brutal bear market isn’t yet its worst crash in history on: June 30, 2018, 04:50:13 AM
this is all just drama to create panic among the weak hands at this point and try to squeeze the market as much as they can to get the last drops of bitcoin out of the investors hands and into their own whale-y pockets.
it is up to you to decide when it is too late to sell and when it is a good time to sell to prevent losing money and having the money out to buy back at the bottom. those who sold in the past couple of days have lost a lot of money because the drop was the "last squeeze".
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ALTs are worthless on: June 29, 2018, 07:05:06 AM
unfortunately i don't think this is going to change.
ethereum is the best example of it too. it is built on 100% hype and no usage and gained a lot of price while having no real value.

and it is too easy to create shitcoins these days. they may not be able to because as big as ethereum but they certainly are capable of generating a lot of money for their  creators and the traders who know how to make profit from pump and dumps. and being easy means there will always be a lot of them around.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto future from July on: June 29, 2018, 06:48:25 AM
i don't think this bear market is going to end this soon. it may take until the end of the year before we start seeing any rise in most of the altcoins.
and right now the bitcoin price is being pushed even lower and we all know that means even bigger dumps in altcoins. and altcoins on their owns are still in bubbles and until they get out of these bubbles you can not expect any kind of rise from them.

and like always we still have a lot of opportunities for making profit in the altcoin market with a lot of pumps that are still going on every day.
1851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: June 29, 2018, 06:35:32 AM
you should NEVER regret anything in your life. instead you should learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them anymore.
it doesn't matter if you make mistakes such as bag holding an altcoin because they told you so. what matters is that you dump the bags you have and learn from the mistakes you made in the past and try to next time hold altcoins for a short time while they are getting pumped instead of holding through they dumps also.
1852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to touch $5500? on: June 29, 2018, 06:26:03 AM
since now everyone is waiting for the drop i think it is safe to say that $5500 will occur and price will probably go even lower. you see before price may not have gone that low because people were still denying the manipulation but as they start believing in it they stay out and wait for the bottom to happen and even root for it. so it is more likely to happen now.
there still is no logical explanation for the drop though.
1853  Economy / Speculation / Re: TETHER 'PRINTED' 250,000,000 USD, WILL BITCOIN PRICE RISE? on: June 29, 2018, 05:31:41 AM
how many more times bitcoin price has to go down for people to stop believing in the Tether FUD?

don't get me wrong, Tether is one of the shadiest coins out there but the FUD that i am talking about is the FUD that kept telling people that bitcoin price was rising because of Tether and it printing new coins every now and  then. it had nothing to do with that and for the past 6 months we are seeing this with undeniable facts.
1854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook removes/Unbans Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Ads on: June 29, 2018, 05:26:53 AM
Well, there is no surprise in this news because banning entire crypto related ads is like banning ads for the companies using fiat currencies just because some companies were involved in the scam. This logic doesn't make any sense in fiat and so that in crypto. This is something that I said 4 months ago,

it actually makes perfect sense if 99% of the companies were scams.
and so far what we have seen from ICOs have been 100% scams. you may think only a couple of them were scams but you would be wrong. they were obvious scams. the rest are non-obvious ones where they lie and deceive people into thinking they are an actual company they to think they are actually doing something when in reality they just create a token, receive the money and stop doing anything else... that is scam.
1855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook removes/Unbans Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Ads on: June 28, 2018, 04:57:21 AM
that still wouldn't change anything about the cryptocurrencies though.
the ban  that happened a couple of months ago was used as an excuse to speed up the dumping process of the altcoins and that process has not yet ended. we are still witnessing the altcoins getting dumped nonstop because there is still a lot of money left to leave the market and the altcoin bubbles need bursting before we can see any meaningful rise.
1856  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's not too late to sell on: June 28, 2018, 04:50:26 AM
hmm, lets see. price was $20000 and currently it is a little above $6000. that is a 70% drop so far and we have been more than 6 months into a bear market.
everything points to the end of the drop since the market is squeezed to its max. this means it is the worst time you can sell your bitcoin! price may go down but you have to basis for assuming that.

This is not financial advice, just a thought.

this is not a thought either. it is just your guess and i doubt you even believe it.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Nano a good project? on: June 27, 2018, 05:50:48 AM
you are asking the wrong questions, unfortunately!

sadly if you want to invest then being a "good project" won't help you in earning profit. being a "shitty" project usually helps more. the shitcoins get more pumps and bigger pumps and they usually go into top 10 coins which is currently filled with shitcoins. you have to look for pumps and learn how to use them if you want profit.

if you want good projects then it is a different discussion then. NANO is a good project. it is innovative and has good features. it is one of the DAG coins which are pretty interesting and fast. it also has 0 fees for all its transactions. but none of them can make it a good investment.
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued tokens/coins to hold for a year on: June 27, 2018, 05:33:59 AM
you should never hold any altcoin/token for a long term like a year. there is of course always a chance that you get lucky and they go up in the long run and you make a profit but the  chance of them falling hard and you to lose a lot of money is much higher than anything else because you can easily get buried under the dump of the whales who are pump and dumping these tokens/coins.
so it is best to use short term strategies such as day trading in altcoin market to maximize the profit while minimizing the risk.
1859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market? Will NEVER HAPPEN because of tether printing. on: June 27, 2018, 05:21:49 AM
your problem is that you took a glance at a bitcoin chart and then started this topic. you are basically saying that bitcoin had NO bear markets so far in the past 9 years although you think you are saying it had 1 (2014).

if you look closely you will see 2 things:
1. this bear market that you glanced lasted 1 year from 2014-1 to 2015-1 and then the accumulation was from then till about Sep. then the rally aka bull market started.
2. there has been many other bear markets in bitcoin, each lasting a lot less than 2014 one and some of them were much bigger than it.
1860  Economy / Speculation / Re: At least waiting for good and not waiting for nothing! on: June 27, 2018, 05:08:59 AM
hearing about how "bitcoin is dead" and other things like it such as how "bitcoin is scam" and... are inevitable. it just shows how the bitcoin world has not changed that much all these years. there are still the same idiots who have been here 5-6 years ago and they are still trying to buy more and more bitcoin every day by pushing the price down and forcing the newbies to panic and sell their coins so that THEY can have a higher stake in bitcoin when the price reaches $1 million by the time mass adoption happens.
