why the heck are all big movements happening when I'm heading to bed or already sleeping  Shocked Cheesy
1) Conspiracy
2) Selection Bias
3) Your timezone is off the most active trading times of the market

Pick one. Or maybe all. Cheesy

This has never been a billion dollar market to begin with. Triple digit, billion, those are things of a faint past.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd say it's something of the future. But for now, it's premature.
Definitely, we can see about that again in 2014 or 2015. Hopefully.

Hopefully at least some ASIC miners were able to take advantage of this brief donation.

And someone just made 200k...
You just know that there are several people with 10-20k BTC each hovering with their cursor over the sell button before their profits are eroded.

Look at this daily candle's wick (not closed yet though). The Great Dollar Extraction is on.
1985  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 12, 2013, 08:25:02 PM
I apologize to all the people who have been tricked into panic buying and are now making up stories how Bitcoin is worth well north of triple digits and going into denial mode again. Sad
1986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 12, 2013, 08:14:07 PM
No more triple digits for 2013. Enjoy your double digit coins. Grin

Remember, $99 coins are expensive and $101 coins are cheap.
1987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 12, 2013, 08:11:36 PM
After this week, I'm not sure we will see triple digits in 2013 again.
1988  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 12, 2013, 02:57:14 PM
Goodbye, triple digits. See you 2015.

Hope is the prerequisite for despair. Cheesy

Check out what we did in 2011 after a bounce from 5.74 to 12.1. That's more than a doubling.

1990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 12, 2013, 02:12:55 AM
In 2011, we rallied off 5.74 to over 12 in a massive bull trap before we descended to 2. So why not. Cheesy

That "prediction" was already invalidated briefly after it was made I remember. I should probably modify it to "No more sustained triple digits in 2013" whereas sustained could refer to either time (maybe 2 weeks?) or volume. I honestly don't see us trading above 100 for anything more than a spike.

Triple digits is a thing of the past.

100->65->100 flushed out all the "weak hands"
Weak hands are those who fail to hold on to their USD. Cheesy

Short buy everything below $70.

Daily sma 200 should rebound.
Safely closed this short buy with profit 21%.
Well done. Smiley

There we go, 61.8% retrace. Plus, the recent negative sentiment is all cleared. You guys think we will be able to sustain triple digits in 2013? Suit yourselves. Cheesy
1995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 09, 2013, 01:34:17 PM
You know what time it is? Time for the next wave of millionaires to extract their filthy fiat dollars. Cheesy
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sentiment in 2011 on: July 08, 2013, 11:30:25 PM
Thanks Maged, always good to hear your opinion. Smiley

I'm not sure how long it will take, but generally I don't think we are going to reverse before around Halloween. Either way, before we make a bottom <50 on high volume (capitulation), we're not done yet in my view.

We're tracing out yet another bull trap right now to clear off the negative sentiment that has built, and then we're ripe to go down and challenge 50 imo.
1997  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally time! We hit bottom, time for trend reversal. on: July 08, 2013, 01:39:46 PM
Bull traps are guaranteed. Watch as sentiment reverses as the pigs buy in and get slaughtered. Cheesy

Quoting for posterity.

I'll either be laughing at Blitz or myself by Friday. Good luck!
Why Friday? Bull traps can take a long time and they can be quite violent. Typical 61.8 fib retracement is in the high 80s alone.

My point is that at the end, the bulls declare victory and then it goes on to make new lows.

Furthermore, I don't short Bitcoin and I don't trade actively. There's not really anything to laugh at since I could care less about the wiggles in between. Cheesy
1998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: July 08, 2013, 01:26:51 PM
Good job on overcoming your bias then, enjoy the ride until we hit capitulation station. Cheesy
1999  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: July 08, 2013, 01:06:43 PM
This bear market isn't over. We'll be returning to the 50s or lower within the next few weeks at most.

this.
WTF, you're bearish? Shocked
