2041  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2015, 04:15:05 PM
My worst mistakes are lot of them  Cheesy, first i invested in HashProfit.com site but given instruction for reinvesting instead of withdraw after six months the site got deleted. second time i used to play gambling in lot of sites, with strategy and guessin, but same thing at the last lost my full bankroll above 1btc., which i earned hard through faucets.

wait what. you earned 1 btc through faucets? I guess in the early times of bitcoin?

I guess so. It is very very hard to get one full BTC by faucets only. Doing 150.000 satoshis a day (which takes much fauceting) it would take about 1 year and 10-11 months to get just 1 BTC.

2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wtf is happening in the last days? Funding to da mooon! on: September 10, 2015, 04:01:23 PM
It looks hopeful, and certainly it should end in price raise.

At least, it means movement and hope in Bitcoin. This is not dying by any means!
2043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who of you uses btc in deep web (and how)? on: September 10, 2015, 03:57:46 PM
I do not use it either, and I think I will never use them.

Mainly because I have no intention to go to the deep web. I know that there are legal things there, but also many illegal and mind disturbing things, and think it would be harder to come in and stay "clean" of all that. For my own mind health, I prefer to stay away.
2044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sidechain whitepaper on: September 10, 2015, 03:54:06 PM

Nice article, although it does not look as "simple". I got mentally tired just by looking at the pics LOL.
2045  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: September 10, 2015, 03:52:30 PM
Yes, what hinders Bitcoin from being used by girls, or by anyone, is more sites providing product in Bitcoin.

-Girls: beauty products, fashion, etc.

-Geeks: technology, gadgets, etc.

-Film lovers: dvds, movie posters ...

2046  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2015, 11:38:12 PM
For now, the worst has been investing 0.02 in a HYP then the site dissapeared.

Also have lost some (but less) investing on cloud mining sites.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keyboards Should have the Bitcoin symbol Already on: September 09, 2015, 02:29:25 AM
There is a post around with a proposal to include the symbol in ANSI, I think. From them, it will be included in keyboards.
2048  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SIMPLE Earning BTC method for Noobs on: September 09, 2015, 02:25:52 AM
Very nice miniguide. I did not know of some of the methods. Thank you very much.

I would include buying some bleutradeshares in bleutrade exchange. They pay some dividends, very few satoshis, but it is quite safe I think.
2049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: September 09, 2015, 02:13:01 AM
It can be far from falling still.

The actual ROI is quite low, and Marcelo can easily sustain it with some trading or perhaps even investing in real mining. If we add to this that he is not paying all people, this can go on forever and ever.

2050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposal to add Bitcoin symbol to Unicode on: September 09, 2015, 01:55:10 AM
Will be really nice to see it in the keyboard when it goes mainstream, and then to remember "I was there when that guy in the forum posted the proposal"...

Hope they prosper a lot so there are many places that copy their success  Cool
2052  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Tragedy of the Core on: September 08, 2015, 06:36:15 PM
Definitely most people want a block increase. But I think that that it is for no particular technical reason, but because they perceive that raising the block limit will settle things.

2053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Pulls Out of Puerto Rico; Huge Opening for Bitcoin on: September 08, 2015, 06:31:10 PM
Perhaps a startup focused in people in puerto rico to send money through Bitcoin would be a great opportunity. Something like "Send money from Puerto Rico faster than paypal". People would be looking for paypal alternatives and keyword match would be good.

Then some will learn that they can send the bitcoins themselves.
2054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block size increase status! on: September 08, 2015, 12:53:22 AM
It is refreshing not to see that much XT-blocksize increase posts anymore. I also think that people perhaps do not have much more to say.

But we can consider this post to be about the issue again, no?  Roll Eyes
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency Social Media Network on: September 08, 2015, 12:49:58 AM
Social media is great for promotion. I only use facebook to promote blog post, wisdom quotes and things like that and goes great.

It is cool to have a crypto related network, as you can do the same (promote your faucets, your bitcoin startups, selling/buying things with Bitcoin etc.) that is, much like a forum, but without restrictions to promote your things, as that is what a social network is much about: promoting oneselve's thing and interests.

2056  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Instead of using a mixer on: September 07, 2015, 10:45:43 PM
Xapo is good enough for someone that does not have anything to hide.

I would be stressed if I had to hide every movement or to maintain Bitcoins in my own means. Yes, it is safer, but would be a pain for me to do that.
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korean Law Enforcement to Launch Investigations on Altcoin Pump-and-Dump on: September 07, 2015, 10:04:07 PM
Well, perhaps smart scammers will hide themselves. But dumb scammers not  Grin

The fact that the government is pursuing scams will disuade a lot of potential "not so smart" scammers, I think.
2058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in Panterra Bitcoin Blitz Fund serious? on: September 07, 2015, 05:45:47 PM
I have not received that offer, but I think it is possible. Risky, but possible.

2059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much transactions fees? on: September 07, 2015, 05:37:28 PM
I use coinbase, so I do not care much about the fee. But it surprises me that it is so high. I did not know.
2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: September 07, 2015, 05:28:47 PM
I have paid in bitcoins for cloud mining services (genesis mining) but not for physical goods really.

Hope I can do it soon.
