1661  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucets and Google Adsense ? on: October 30, 2015, 02:23:02 PM
I have a rather old blog with adsense ads in addition to 5 mellow ads ads, and one from a-ads.

No banning until now. I guess adsense passes by a little if site is good and with high traffic. However there is a risk of getting banned of course.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoins have started moving.. on: October 30, 2015, 12:56:28 PM
I was going to dump some litecoins I have earned these last days. From the posts here, seems like it would be a good strategy to hold them, right?
1663  Economy / Marketplace / Re: any Halloween promotion in Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2015, 12:54:00 PM
The only thing I have found similar to a promotion is Moon bitcoin faucet providing a 100% bonus in all claims.

1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Government Starting to Buy Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2015, 01:03:43 AM
For me I think that them buying Bitcoin is just common sense. I suppose they do, as they will surely know the impact bitcoin has had on population, and will get some to guard their own backs and not be out of the movement.

1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocoin. The best? on: October 30, 2015, 01:00:14 AM
There are too many altcoins, that is without a doubt. But I would not go as far as to say Bitcoin should be the only one in town. All great inventions have a rather successful copy that stirs some competition and that is healthy. Bitcoin does not really have competition right now, but could have in the future.

I think that litecoin will also survive as a more fractionary coin for smaller transactions.
1666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling Rate of BTC on Circle Higher Than Coinbase? on: October 29, 2015, 11:09:57 PM
Those discrepancies mean money if you are able to move fast. Some people earn money by buying in some exchange (the lowest price one) and selling in another (the higher priced one). Although it is getting harder every day as I have seen here.
1667  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New bitcoin faucet 800 satoshi on: October 29, 2015, 10:51:13 PM
800 satoshis to faucetbox. Thanks!

Faucet is pretty simple and easy going if you do not mess with the bonus button Cheesy
1668  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [HOW TO] use vpn to get higher rewards from faucets on: October 29, 2015, 10:46:29 PM
Thanks for this post. It is always good to have alternatives to navigate through different ips.

I use a vpn for privacy, and it is blacklisted in many faucets it seem. Perhaps this would do.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and its (eventual) evolution. A risk for BTC owner? on: October 29, 2015, 08:37:09 PM
Due to the potential for profit of Bitcoin, there are risks.

I think you cannot have profit potential without risks. Although you can certainly have risk without any potential benefit.

Fork can happen and people lose interest, there can be a massive government banning and people lose interest, there can be a error somewhere and people generating coins easily, destroying the coin, or there can even be other inventions and make bitcoin obsolete (as many pretend Bitcoin will do with money).

But also, all can go ok. Grin and there it is. The potential.

1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys... I'm having this feeling again on: October 29, 2015, 08:30:16 PM
I do not have much more than one BTC, but somehow I feel safer having it on coinbase than locally on my pc. My pc can be screwed. You say "do backups", but the backup may get stolen, you can apply many other security measures, but that makes holding your BTC rather messy and uncomfortable.

I would go through all that pain if I held 10 BTC perhaps, but not now... for the time being.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ashley Madison spambot extortion address? on: October 29, 2015, 08:22:07 PM
However they will not be able to do anything with that money  Grin Bitcoin is banned in russia LOL.

Oh, wait.... they are already criminals and won't mind it much  Roll Eyes
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: October 29, 2015, 08:17:25 PM
The total debt of the USA is about 20 trillion dollars. That's a ton of debt per citizen. With Bitcoin you know that you will never be under heavy debt for life, where your money isn't really yours because it's on a bank that may steal it from you. You know you aren't funding wars by supporting a goverment issued currency with secret agendas. You don't need to pay ridiculous fee for worldwide payments. More privacy..

Wow, I had not seen it that way. Really revealing and eye opening.

Thanks for sharing
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at risk. on: October 29, 2015, 08:10:36 PM
When we see that something can go wrong, we tend to worry. But many many times things go wrong even when we have no idea they could go wrong.

That is to say, even if block limit was increased tomorrow, still something could go wrong. I will take care of block limit, but not be too stressed about it while nothing is still happening.
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this comment ? on: October 28, 2015, 09:39:31 PM
It is scary if it is true. I got somewhat more calm after reading that there is no certain way to know about who holds whatever amount.

If we are going to a world with much Bitcoin significance, rich people will be richer than ever.
1675  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: List of IPS to blocked on: October 28, 2015, 09:35:36 PM
I know that there might be many that use VPN to get more from faucets, but also there are some that have to use it for whatever reason (privacy for example) and it is really a pain to log out only to make faucet claims that are worth fractions of a cent.

Are really the damage from those IPs that big?
1676  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Don't use Bitcoin.Town extension on: October 28, 2015, 04:11:47 PM
Well, thanks for informing about it. It is certainly bad not to tell the extension is inserting you as a referal, but personally I would not mind making some other person earn a little money while I earn mine.

1677  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 28, 2015, 04:08:16 PM
When BTC started, nobody had any and it was worthless, so it was right to give away thousands of BTC to make it popular. All that has changed. Now that BTC's worth something, now that companies are building on BTC, now that serious business transactions are made with bitcoin, it's about time for faucets to adapt.

BTC is real. It's money, and you've got to work to earn some. I hope all faucets will disappear in 2015. Faucets are hurting bitcoin by making some people believing you can get it while doing nothing sitting in your home. No, BTC isn't like that, and it shouldn't be any easier to get than any fiat currency. Even for small amounts.

Believe it or not, My Referrals make me around 60 K Satoshi a week, Me without even logging into my account, Once a week i go and withdraw what i have earned. If you take in real longterm consideration, of about 10-20 years, Just like back in the day, 5 bitcoins were given each roll. These 700- 800 satoshi per roll may become 70-80$ or may be even higher. Its not bad to have the additional income which in future may be life changing one. Bitcoin will create new elites thats for sure.

Completely and fully agree with this. I am a little tired of hearing many people say faucets are not worth it and are bad, while at the same time many other people say they are expecting Bitcoin to go up a lot.

Perhaps they are not worth it now. But maybe will be worth it later. Futhermore... you do not have to lose that much time when using faucets. I have an online job and manage to claim from faucets here and there while I am doing it (for example, when I am waiting for my email to load or a weighty page to show). It adds up.

1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 03:37:18 PM
Cool adresses. It is amazing to see what some people do to entertain themselves.

1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: October 28, 2015, 03:34:56 PM
Porn is not perceived as very positive by a lot of people. I doubt that it is good for Bitcoin that porn industry is one of the first to adopt it.
1680  Other / Meta / Re: End the negative appearance of Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. on: October 28, 2015, 02:59:18 PM
I like the forum. Learnt a lot of things about Bitcoin and altcoins here, and have not noticed much strife between users. There is much more in other more generalistic forums.
