1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: December 25, 2015, 04:09:22 PM
Yes, it has happened to me at a small scale. People say "How may Bitcoins did you get today?" in a joke tone, or make weird looks when I tell them I earned some bits (because they think it is too small earning).

But let's just keep on.
1302  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchanger? on: December 25, 2015, 02:08:23 AM
I like cryptopia too as an exchange for altcoins. Has a really wide connection of altcoins you cannot find in other sites, and often there are huge gaps between ask and bid offers due to lack of volume (which creates opportunities). I have withdrawn many times from there, and the withdraws are carried out in seconds.
1303  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New faucet without time limit - GetYourBitco.in on: December 25, 2015, 02:04:52 AM
The faucet is awesome. It's also pretty clean and doesn't have annoying popups or infinite ads.
With the "x3 bonus" after every 4 claim, earnings can become really huge....still i tried a payout and didn't get satoshi.
I got an error message about "Faucetbox error: disallowed IP"

Yeah, I have been claiming all morning long and withdrawing without problems, but right now, I get the same error message.

Maybe faucetbox establishes a limit on claims from the same faucet and this one has surpassed it? Waiting for it to fix, as the faucet is really great.
1304  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Weakest hardware to hit the lottery recently on: December 25, 2015, 12:27:53 AM
Wow that is so nice for an 'old' miner. Thanks for the data. Who knows how much will it take for that same S3 to hit it again...
1305  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Eadsy.net Advertising Network | Advertise easy and efficient! on: December 25, 2015, 12:17:07 AM
Do you pay for unique clicks or for impressions? I had a blog with several thousands visits a day, but prefer impressions, not clicks. It is hard to monitor if users do click or not, but one can monitor the impressions.
1306  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is as good as it's going to get on: December 25, 2015, 12:12:38 AM
After the 2 year bear market, after the meteoric rocket rises, we've entered the stage of mediocre growth. As evidenced by the recent developments since October 2015, you can see that btc price goes up gradually, like 10% over a month's time. After these mediocre growth, profiteers come in and drive the price down a bit. The cycle goes on.

If you bought $1000 bitcoins, I pity you, we will never see $1000 coins ever in our life time.

Folks, this is the way it's going to look from now on. No more moon rockets, and no more steep crashes. Enjoy and have a nice day!!!

I agree that right now it is a lot like that. I think it will reach high prices again, but it will be more gradually as it is adopted and new apps come in.

However, even if you bought at $1000, you can sell in the 450-500, buy again at the 300, then sell again etc. until you cover loses. It is risky but can be done.
1307  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Christmas 2015 Bubble on: December 25, 2015, 12:02:51 AM
There was a nice pump with a down, and a repumping we are somewhat experiencing now. Movement is good, even if it is down sometimes, it allows to reenter at a better price if you are not holding at higher prices. At least that has been my case Cheesy
1308  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Givemecoins - 500-2000 - Claim once every 30 minutes on: December 24, 2015, 11:57:45 PM
Reward seems good for a 30 min faucet (500 minimum) claimed without any issues, quite clean without any bot links or something like that.

Thanks for this faucet man.
1309  Other / Off-topic / Re: How old are you? on: December 24, 2015, 11:51:25 PM
Seems like most people is in his twenties or early thirties. So pretty young, I am older, but still young in the Bitcoin world lol.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why israeli people love bitcoin so much? on: December 24, 2015, 11:49:27 PM
They are people that like technology and computers a lot, so it is not strange that Bitcoin is more widely know and used there, just as tablets, smart watches, and things like that.
1311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping again? on: December 24, 2015, 08:52:41 PM
Did not reach the 350 and it is pretty high right now. Perhaps the question would be if it will reach the 500 hundred, not if it is going down to 350 Cheesy
1312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who will be selling at 450 range (today) on: December 24, 2015, 08:27:55 PM
I have sold some too, but not because of the price, but because I tend to buy/sell in all ranges. Just put buy orders and sell orders a little above that. When they fill, I repeat the proccess, getting a small profit whenever two orders fill.

1313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: December 24, 2015, 08:23:19 PM
I do not think it will go below 400 before january either, but I do think we will see it below 400 again in not much time, which will be a good buying opportunity!

For now, expect it to raise to sell some before the down!
1314  Economy / Exchanges / Does coinbase exchange have no fees for non-instant orders? on: December 24, 2015, 08:18:02 PM
I have been operating on coinbase exchange (BTC/EUR pair) for some weeks now. I have noticed that if I make an instant buy or sell, a small fee is charged.

However when I make a bid or ask and put a limit order, no fee is charged (at least I do not see it). Is it really so?

1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2015, 08:10:42 PM
Because it is a good turn to the past in the sense that you own your money in your pc, not banks. Reminds me a litte of the time you paid always in cash and bank accounts were not that popular.

Also it is fast and allows for micropayments (tip people for giving advice, good articles in blogs, etc. becamos more doable)
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much had you lost with bitcoin and before it?Did you won? on: December 24, 2015, 08:07:10 PM
I have had luck (or blessing by God) as I have invested in several HYIP sites, about 8 of them. Lost money (about 5-10 $ in btc) in 6 of them, but managed to do about 1 full bitcoin of profit in two of them before they closed. To earn that I had to invest about 0.45 BTC, and sites closed and run away with about 1.30 BTC more, but still I got 1 BTC of profit.

1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just hit the 15,000,000 mark! on: December 24, 2015, 08:01:52 PM
Which means I am currently owing 1/1000,000 part of Bitcoin. Great, round number. Only 6 million more to go!

How much will it take to go to 20 million?
1318  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New faucet without time limit - GetYourBitco.in on: December 24, 2015, 06:42:19 PM
Very good faucet. It is the first time a see one of this faucets that claims directly to faucetbox without a minimum. Keep on the good work and do not lower rates !
1319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hahaha. Bitcoin barely went up this holiday season on: December 24, 2015, 03:46:59 PM
I did not expect that really. People want to buy things, but they want to do so without being too costly. If bitcoin goes up too much, it ceases to be a good way of buying things cheap.

That is a lot what happened, raised a bit (people buying bitcoin perhaps to get some discounts) but not a lot (people stopped buying bitcoin when the discount did not compensate).

1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin, dogecoin, and litecoin the same ?? on: December 24, 2015, 03:14:39 PM
They are not the same, they are different cryptocurrencies, although LTC and Dogecoin are based on Bitcoin. However, LTC and Doge are quite trustworthy cryptos that are likely to survive for a long time, not the typical coin that appears and disappears only a few months later.
