I feel amazed of people doing things like that  Shocked

How did you come to detect it? I guess you saw the post and realized it had nothing to do with the topic... or was it anything else?
1442  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: December 07, 2015, 01:55:51 PM
If you speak of being a millonaire in the strict sense (having just 1 million dollars) It might be, if the dollar ends losing value and BTC ends getting a lot of value. But I see it very difficult still.

I think that BTC would be very different by that time. Perhaps it would have changed its name and technology several times.
1443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Thinking of downloading Bitcoin Core on: December 07, 2015, 01:46:18 PM
Advantage: help to support the network. Which is a kind of "altruistic" advantage

Disadvantage: time consuming, space not used for other things, harder work on your hd (which lowers its life span), slowing your machine on the operation...

1444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Catastrophic Solar Flare Erases All Soft Memory on: December 07, 2015, 01:42:10 PM
I think it is not bad if someone dedicates time and effort to create a hard copy of the blockchain. Many people spend time and effort in other matters that are still less helpful.

However, it is likely that if an event erases all electric copies of Bitcoin, restoring Bitcoin would not be a major concern.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain disruptions on: December 07, 2015, 01:37:45 PM
Personal fitness industry. You could track your workouts using the blockchain.

Personal planning. Track time studying, working etc.

Orders in a store. Track the number or value of orders, the days in which they were dispatched, etc.
1446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin 1.0 & Crypto 2.0 Indexes (vs BTC) on: December 06, 2015, 10:57:21 PM
Great thread. It takes a lot of hard work to do what you are doing here man. Do not get discouraged for the apparent lack of responses. I am sure many are reading it and taking good note of it.

Thanks.
1447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be sure, this will drop hard soon... and here is why... on: December 06, 2015, 10:31:06 PM
I hold some btc (about 1.5) so to take advantage of price raises, and trade (buy) when price is lower (currently a buy order at 330 €, do not know how much it is in dollar). I hope to buy some more, so the drop will be in my benefit...

I hope you are right.
1448  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: hacking bitcoin transactions on: December 06, 2015, 08:42:18 PM
Do not understand it much, I am not hi-tech into bitcoin... but it is likely that your hacked transaction would not be the one accepted because other nodes will get the transaction and confirm it before you?
1449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: automatic price quoting on: December 06, 2015, 08:40:57 PM
is there a way how I can import BTC + Commission directly on a webpage, google form ?

You mean BTC prices? most exchanges provide public apis and usage examples (just look for <exchange name> + api in google to get some info). Then you have to get data from the apis and import them to other pages. Do not know exactly how to do that, but I think it is the way to go to get where you are aiming.
1450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2015, 08:30:01 PM
As the forum thread title says, I am interested in your Bitcoin story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin?  Smiley

I was looking for ways to earn some dollars online. I used a auto viewer named hitleap in which I used to pay the premium option to get a better service.

One day, when I was going to pay my monthly suscription, I noticed they allowed payments in Bitcoin, so I researched what that "Bitcoin" was... looked some videos and created a wallet.
1451  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How much would you trust trezor? on: December 06, 2015, 01:22:31 AM
I would not trust it very much. Nor trezor, not any other thing. At this point right now, I would prefer to use bitcoins to pay my bills (mortgage etc) before accumulating too much. Maybe I would go as high as 7-10 BTC, then use to reduce debts if there is any excess to that.

Trezor may break, and whichever other method too. Most safe saving is reducing debt/recurring payments on one's life.
1452  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: need advice in bitcoin advertising 0.30 BTC budget on: December 05, 2015, 04:56:57 PM
Have you tried mellowads? I am a publisher on that one, and for what I get paid, I guess advertisers should be getting good results (if not, the payments would be very much reduced and that is not the case).

Signature campaign would be a nice idea too. If you have done it before, you could change focus. Perhaps offering more satoshis for posting in the microearning section. In other parts of the forum faucets are not so popular.
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of the bitcoin will jump again? on: December 04, 2015, 06:50:31 PM
This december i think the price of the bitcoin will jump and reach $500 on this month.
because it's nearly christmas and i think some people sell/exchange his/her bitcoins to use it in christmas.
What do you think guys?

Maybe. I think it will jump to 500 again soon, but I am not so sure to say it will jump before christmas. Could be, due to the effect you mention, but it might well be that people lose interest for a while as they celebrate holidays.

Any of both can happen IMO.
1454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any ways to buy bitcoin using mobile credit? on: December 04, 2015, 06:45:21 PM
Do not know any service like that, but it would be really cool to have one.

Phone companies usually offer credit for free also, which would mean some free pieces of BTC.

1455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Exchanges for BTC/USD with lower minimum and fees on: December 04, 2015, 06:42:09 PM
Hello everybody. I have been trying several exchanges (coinbase, bitfinex, cryptsy) but they have a somewhat high minimum trading amount (for example it is 0.1 in Bitfinex). Do you know any exchanges with lower / no minimum?

And what about trading fees? is there some with lower fees than 0.02%?

Thank you very much in advance.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: December 04, 2015, 06:34:12 PM
IS there any Bitcoin Bank that really works like bank that provide interest for customer that available in this world?

The closest thing to that I have found is haobtc online wallet. It provides interest on your savings there and also allows for deposit for more interest. Online wallets are not that trustworthy though, but CEO has posted several pics of their mining operation and all.

Interest come from their mining, I think.
1457  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: December 04, 2015, 06:30:35 PM
I mainly use it as an investment vehicle. Trade and earn it and when I want to use it, mainly I exchange it for fiat and use it to pay my bills.

Although currently are more saving, not using it.
1458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now and buy again at $1300. on: December 04, 2015, 12:14:29 AM
I think this guy is somewhat joking. I think he means many people sell for low profit and then want to get in again when price is too high.

That is why he says ...  sell now buy again at 1300.

1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why The Bitcoin Price Going Higher Means Bitcoin Will Fail on: December 03, 2015, 06:52:16 PM
I have to agree. It would be great if the intention of Bitcoin was helping the poor, but it is the first time I heard someone telling that.

As far as I know its intention was to create a decentralized currency, that can be used in many ways (not just helping the poor).

1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the solution to the block debate already be here? on: December 03, 2015, 06:31:12 PM
I am quite a newbie and already seen a lot of block debate, but I barely can remember someone advocating small blocksizes. I have seen a lot of people telling that blocksize isn't still an issue, but almost none saying "let's keep the block size the same".

My feeling is that almost everyone supports bigger blocksize, difference is someone say we have to do it now, and some others say it is not a matter so urgent, so we have to debate more and wait for a solution that is agreed.
