you can stay calm and just try to earn some bitcoins with faucets or micro tasks (bitcoinget, signature campaign) while you learn more about it and become more secure to have a opinion.

I have been thinking for a while now on creating a faucet site and would like to hear opinions or tips from faucet owners (or very experienced users) about how to do it, what to expect, etc.

-Does it require much investment?

-Which ads to use? any tips?

-What has been your experience (if any)?

-Long claims (hours) or short (minutes)?

Well theoretically, I tend to think a miner will protect Bitcoin as their interest is in it. But if we think deeper, it would be interested only in Bitcoin price, not in Bitcoin gaining adoption or being more fast or secure. Normally all these things go hand in hand, but perhaps there might be a scenario in which they weren't

Agree with the meritocracy. Regular people proposing solutions are not good, as they do not know about all the risks and problems it takes to implement them

Cash is more anonymous. Computers always leave traces.

For me it's great news. At the very least, they show interest in a solution. And if they are going to listen to community (which I feel mostly proposes a raise in block size) it is a very good signal.

Well, it will be very hard to prove there is not a bug, as the only person that has access to the code is the admin himself. If you (we) are making a case with evidences, the autoenablement of autoinvestment testimonies of a lot of people would prove better, I think. Futhermore, I am sure that many investors do not even know that there is an autoinvest feature (I did not know until a month had passed since registering) and would just wonder why the system does not generate coins.

Also he has lied about the withdrawals being done in 48 hours (proof with screenshots and the blockchain payments), about the rewards being re-instated (proof with admin messages and actual rewards), lied about ROI (proof with site calculator screenshot and the fact that the rewards do not produce that much ROI, even after the hack that was months ago) etc.

Then you have also support tickets. Page reads:


Which is false. There are lots of testimonials that the support tickets are unanswered.

All this lies will mislead a person who is considering the investment. That person would get less ROI than what the page tells, would get less support (none) than what the page tells, and will get less frequent rewards than what the page tells (as page says it pays every 10 min, but this is false if reinvestment enables itself without you even knowing there is a reinvest feature). People will invest based on lies and not get what is promised, and that alone is a crime.

Now a bug in payments scrypt. A bug that never happened before the hacking. Have they changed the scrypts since then?

And still no explanation about the auto-invest enabled, or about reward reduction ... whenever a new problem arises, scrypt.cc gets the old problems sort of "covered".

I could have withdrawn 2 times if the auto-invest did not enable out of the blue. People with low khs cannot withdraw due to the high minimum cashout, and people with lots of khs cannot withdraw either because their autoinvest enables itself, or because they have a "bug" and the withdraws are lost.

Strange... so many bugs and never a bug that produces a triple balance withdrawal  

Gold will always a good value in my opinion, as it is scarce and is a useful metal (jewelry, conductive properties, ductile etc.)

I love Bitcoin, but it only has value because we agree that it has. Gold has intrinsic value (it is useful per se) just as potatoes

Exactly. Some websites or Bitcoin startups do not work in Newyork, but Bitcoin does work ... and you can get to the blocked websites through a proxy too

And Ukraine is pretty inestable now... so people there will tend to consider an altertante currency more. Could be a good advance.

That is good news. Perhaps we will se finantial funds in which Bitcoin has some part soon. Also, bank cooperation would make fiat to Bitcoin conversion easier

I am a little ashamed as there are many people that would think it is a game, or that I am crazy. But if you take your time to explain it, and warn about the risks beforehand, it does not have to be shameful.

Problem is when you say it is all the rage, and then people see they are not easy to spend or that its price is very volatile.

You can try a-ads.com too. These are anonymous ads, do not pay much, but tend to allow almost any site, even free hostings.

I haven't been in one either, and never heard of any meetup around where I live. But I guess I wouldn't go either, there are lots of info and discussion online already to keep up with.
