1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more popular than forex! on: November 20, 2015, 11:13:35 PM
I find it interesting. At the very least it reveals a possible higher interest for Bitcoin in a site that is not only about Bitcoin, and that seems like good news. It might attract people from other chats just to have a look.  Roll Eyes
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eliminate the need to hold dollars, legalize the use of BTC to pay taxes!!! on: November 20, 2015, 11:10:15 PM
I am not a US citizen and cannot sign it honestly, but I think is a good idea to do it. However counterintuitive it is, it will help Bitcoin adoption in some way, and that is good.
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which is the fastest staking POS coin that is still tradeable? on: November 20, 2015, 03:03:47 PM
I have been trying to find a POS coin that is easy to stake and tradeable on market, and still does not have a loooong maturity period (not days or weeks). I have found Netcoin, that roughly begins to stake at 6-8 hours after holding it for the first time, but I would like to hear about other coins that are POS and give their first stake in hours, not days.

Can anyoen recommend a coin (or more than one) with those features?

Thanks in advance
1524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of Bitcoin and Mining Profitability on: November 20, 2015, 02:48:38 PM
In my understanding, if some miners give up due to price drop, there'll be more market for other miners to sell their coins and also the lack of supply will produce a price raise too. It stabilizes itself somewhat.

1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Day Trading Platform for Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 02:26:50 PM
Any of that is free or has free trial period? Perhaps it would be interesting to try them.

I use to trade directly on the exchanges, but the different menus and links in each of them are a little confusing...
1526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins with SMS on: November 20, 2015, 02:20:21 PM
Well, I did not know this was even possible! thanks for sharing those sites. Sending an SMS to get Bitcoin is like the fastest method to exchange fiat for Bitcoin without using a transfer that I have heard about now!
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin issues on: November 20, 2015, 02:11:29 PM
For me the hardest thing have been:

Buying Bitcoin with fiat, and selling them back to fiat. I have done that through coinbase, but it has required providing personal data (scanning documents etc) and making international transfers with certain codes in order to link my account to that of coinbase. I highly doubt that a regular (not bitcoin enthusiast) person would do that, and think that hinders adoption.

Obtaining/earning Bitcoin. Faucets are not worth the time. Signature campaigns are ok, but do not provide that much. Banners on site also provide some, but not to earn a living or event a decent amount to pay bills. I know I can buy them, but then ... whats the point? I can also pay for my bills directly with fiat. More Bitcoin earning opportunities would be better.

1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIG NEWS: Europen Union Cracking Down on Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 02:05:56 PM
I will be happy to see Bitcoin disappearing if that stopped terrorist. But it won't stop them. However, I think that this kind of news or articles are more likely looking for views and exaggerating.

I do not think that stopping Bitcoin is a priority in the war against terrorism
1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 10 bitcoin traders you must follow on Twitter on: November 19, 2015, 01:11:50 PM
Thanks for sharing this, it is a very useful piece of info. I doubt they share their best trading strategies, but sure we can get some useful info by comparing their different tweets.

Nice post

1531  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money by spreading the word about Bitcoin on: November 19, 2015, 12:52:38 PM
you can buy at a discount in purse.io using bitcoins too. Then you can sell the purchased items at a price higher than your purchasing price.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In which countries bitcon success the most ? on: November 19, 2015, 12:26:22 PM
China and USA are the most successful in my view. I really have not seen any stats on that, but that is the impression I get by reading forums and using Bitcoin services (which are mostly from these two countries)
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: November 18, 2015, 07:33:03 PM
So it is not paying right now? I have achieved a 0.002 waiting a lot of time through halvings and stuff, but would not like to withdraw and have half of it spent in fees. I was waiting to get a little more before withdrawing.
1534  Other / Politics & Society / Re: is ISIS really using Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2015, 06:08:51 PM
It is very likely that they are using it. They prize to be able to move around any country by infiltration of yihadist among normal citizens, so How come they would not use a kind of money you can transfer from a country to another with almost no fees, without banks intermediation and with no question asked? The logical thing to think is they are using it.

1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook: “Your kids will not know what money is” on: November 18, 2015, 06:02:35 PM
Yes, he is talking about apple pay, and I agree with the original poster. If companies like apple are interested in creating a centralized currency system, they will surely try to stop, promote legislation etc. to stop decentralized ones. I do not think that they can really stop Bitcoin, but it does not hurt if Bitcoin goes even stronger for the ordeal to come.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity Charitable joins the bandwagon on: November 18, 2015, 05:57:05 PM
Good news. Charities are one of the best uses for Bitcoin, and I think it will prove very useful as it allows micro-funding (sending small amounts) without much problem.

And well, to tell the truth, Bitcoin has been used by criminals. Although it is biased info: regular fiat has been much more used.
1537  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Paris Attacks will Affect Digital currencies in Europe on: November 18, 2015, 04:49:28 PM
I do not really see any reason to change the point of view in Europe. Bitcoin is just money, as it is fiat or transfers. Perhaps it gives some plus or anonimity, but it does not greatly impact the difficulty to make terrorist attacks.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And the Black Belt in Bitcoin News Plagiarism Goes To Cointelegraph -NewsBTC on: November 18, 2015, 03:27:29 PM
There are copies/plagiarism everywhere around us. Movies, tv series, etc. It is just some people are more clever than others when hidding its sources.

Very interesting tutorial / collection of bitcoin earning methods. I earn most by posting things in my blog and earning from ads. It is a very good alternative for earning some BTC.

Close to that are signature campaigns.
1540  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MICRO CHAT on: November 17, 2015, 10:43:44 PM
yes IRC is quite alive. In fact I think it has somewhat of a revival due to crypto. Bitcoin channel is very populated.
