1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Proposes Jail Sentence for Bitcoin Activities on: October 28, 2015, 02:56:05 PM
The thing is about control IMO. Russia has a lean to control everything in their citizens lives. Bitcoin is not easy to control, so better to ban it.

http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#incakoin

https://tatica1.wordpress.com/2010/01/23/como-registrar-el-nick-en-irc/

¡A ver si llegamos a los 100 usuarios del chat y todos salen ganando!

Un saludo

I've tried to gain substantial amounts of BTC from endless faucets but havent had any luck thus far...are they're any good ones out there to make a fast come up or is it all pointless?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, Im new!

Best time-effort fauceting I have done is through rotator Lets get crypto (just google it). They offer a very high paying list of faucets, a firefox plugin to claim a little faster, and free referals for using it.

It is not worth the time still, but you can work your way to get many referals and then get some BTC passively from their commision.

That is a lot of work, you really deserve the referral claims!

Thanks for putting up that list. It always requires lots of work to do that!
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading site for trading and obviously not scam + Best technique on trading on: October 27, 2015, 04:18:12 PM
There are many sites out there, and we cannot be 100% sure they will not be a scam or close sooner or later. As for trading technique, most people will say "buy low, sell high", but I will give you some more tips.

-New coins use to raise in price fast, then go down. You can buy a new coin and inmediately put a sell order for around 2-5% more and might get some profit (not everytime but sometimes). I guess Yobit is a good site in which many new coins show up from time to time.

-Look at the chats in trading sites. You can perceive there the interest in some coins and act accordingly.

-Check transaction volume. If a coin has no volume, you probably do not want it.
1687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the original Satoshi account on here? on: October 27, 2015, 04:07:47 PM
I would love to see satoshi here too. But is that account really from him?

1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World's First School to Issue Academic Certificates via Bitcoin Blockchain on: October 27, 2015, 01:15:01 PM
Whenb I first heard of storing other things (not Bitcoin) in the blockchain, I thought it made no sense. Sounded me like using a screwdriver as a hammer to drive a nail. However it is beginning to make sense when I see news like that. I hope this furthers the usage and adoption of Bitcoin too.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: October 26, 2015, 10:53:19 PM
For me is not as real as fiat money. I know it can convert to real money very well, and that it has a lot of potential. But it is not secure, it is risky in itself, and as other users said, it is not really that easily spendable. This put it somewhat in another category.

I heard that casino chips are used in order to disconnect players from the fact that they are using real money to play, and this is a little the same. Best thing would be to really be concious and think deep that it IS real money.

1690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So... what really happened to Satoshi? Who was this person? on: October 26, 2015, 10:49:19 PM
For us post-satoshi fellows it is really fun to investigate and speculate about him. The post about FED moving in and Sathoshi moving out is a very nice possible explanation. I think that something related to that is what really happened.
1691  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: xapo new faucet paid every 30 minutes! update on: October 26, 2015, 06:38:43 PM
Claimed just a moment ago, got 600 satoshis (which is not bad at all) and they arrived safely to my xapo account. Thanks!
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Georgia’s UniPAY Brings Bitcoin to 55,000 Active Users on: October 26, 2015, 06:01:55 PM
Bitcoin is going forward. Much news like these. I think we tend to tie price raises with Bitcoin being more widely adopted, and perhaps it should not go hand in hand.

Perhaps it is moving forward more than the price reflects.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Photo Contest and Art on: October 26, 2015, 05:58:43 PM
Liked the ones in orange https://bit4coin.net/bitcoin-photo-contest/photos/543 and https://bit4coin.net/bitcoin-photo-contest/photos/544 mostly. They are more lively and more wallpaper-usable  Grin
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of Circle, Bitpay and so on? on: October 26, 2015, 05:43:50 PM
Payment processors for bitcoin do exist because there aren't that much merchants willing to receive bitcoin as is for payments on their merchandise.

Exactly this. Payment processors ultimately exist because Bitcoin adoption is not bit enough yet. Once everyone uses Bitcoin, they will not be much needed.
1695  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Yannik`s +1000 Faucet List | Daily checks and updates ! (66 Faucets) on: October 26, 2015, 02:55:07 AM
There are few xapo faucets in the list, and only the well known classic ones (bitcoinker, Bitcoinzebra etc.) still, it is not a bad list.

1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friendly warning: the SEC is all over these boards. Don't break any laws. on: October 26, 2015, 02:39:20 AM
It is true that one needs to be careful about this. You start by buying and investing, then you try trading, then begin to think about creating your own coin with no real purpose other than to make money... or to lend money to others for "investing".

The advice given by OP is good. Keep your senses and not go illegal.

1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with coins that are no longer supported? on: October 25, 2015, 01:05:07 AM
You can also create a new small community (a forum, facebook or group) and use it as a token for that.
