how does this pumping thing work exactly? several users pumping a coin?

Gives some info that makes him look reliable (names of the team members with pics, a physical address) and the interest they are offering is not off the board (I mean is reasonable). Maybe it is a scam, but it does not scream SCAM! as much as other sites 

It took me about 3 months. And I was blessed as I got into a high yield investment that turned out to produce more than 1 BTC investing about 0.40 ... the 0.40 was earned through faucet, selling amazon gift cards, and publishing ads on my blog.

Advertising is needed. Many people would be interested in Bitcoin if they knew its possibilities. Telling friends and family could be the first step, teaching children how to get some (faucets etc) may be good too.

I did not buy ethereum when it launched. So it is a good time to buy it now?

Well actually it only took me some months  I am only 8 month old into Bitcoin, and less than that in other altcoins. Began posting in trading forum about 3 weeks or less ago.

I do not pretend the strategy to be revolutionary, I am only trying to get counsel from other wiser people, just in case I missed something.

 

I am kind of a noob and learnt today that to make a backup you only have to backup the wallet.dat. I was surprised that it was so simple.

To restore a wallet you only have to overwrite the wallet.dat then?

I use them as an investing/earning opportunity. It is fun, and somewhat you get to risk/be more adventurous than with old regular money.

Not a bad reward. It would be average in my view. I would use it in combination with many other faucets.

I ran into the same problem. You cannot sell them (even not putting a higher price) because apparently there are "spots" for every price. The only way I could place a sell order was putting a price much above the current price. Try that (a price above 100% higher than the current price) and you may still place them.

Lot and free are hard to find. But you can try slow and "free" with faucets. Cryptopia chat also rains some altcoins and satoshis. Signature campaigns...

I agree with this vision. I think bitcoin will perhaps get a too high value to be used for very small transactions/crowdfunding and other altcoin can dominate in that area.

I have withdrawn two amounts from two different investing sites that tend to work always, and did not work.

I am wary of sending anything until this is solved.

Buy some litecoin (5$ or so to begin with). Sell if they go up or buy some more (in 5$ increments) if they go down, say, more than 10%. Sell them when you have a profit.

It is risky, yes. But litecoin is not likely to sink much, and that way you can profit from its ups and downs.
