1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...bitcoin is now a national currency on: December 14, 2015, 12:38:04 PM
It is more a curiosity, but is nice it get some advertising and discussion. If it gets people talking about Bitcoin, that is something.

As for other countries taking notice of it to change their points of view about Bitcoin, it does not seem it is going to be so  Grin
1402  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 7992 satoshi/hour! on: December 14, 2015, 12:32:50 PM
Too much popups for me. Got tired on the second one and did not get past them to do the claim. Thanks anyway.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we leave satoshi alone? on: December 13, 2015, 08:47:53 PM
Just imagine all hype and media crap around Satoshi when Bitcoin reach five digits. I agree with OP, man should have his peace but mystery of his identity will sure attract more and more journalists to dig.

I agree completely with this. If this is know, when Bitcoin is not known as much, just imagine the tv documentaries, rumors, articles on magazines etc. if Bitcoin gets to be a mainstream currency.

1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arcade machine? on: December 13, 2015, 01:18:25 AM
Confirmations will really be a problem. I remember people in the arcades using coins of less value, dropped in the slot with an impulse in order to cheat and play less for their games (it worked in some arcades), so people would definitely try to cheat it and double spend.

The idea is cool nevertheless. I like it at least.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the Return of Satoshi (aka Craig Wright) really means? on: December 12, 2015, 03:24:26 PM
Well, Craig has said pretty interesting things. If he continues to back them up (i.e speaking about the results of their models and that) we can have some info that can be helpful with a discerning mind, even if he is not Sathoshi.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Scam on: December 12, 2015, 03:17:09 PM
you are totally right. Even to recover deleted files in a computer may be a matter of just some minutes or take lots of hours, trying several different recovery apps.

I know it by experience.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you define "early adopters"? on: December 12, 2015, 03:13:43 PM
As of now, early adopters would be the people who managed to get Bitcoin when it was just a curiosity with almost no value. If Bitcoin goes mainstream with mass adoptions, then "early adopters" could be us, who use it when not everybody knew about it.
1408  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: December 12, 2015, 03:26:18 AM
Any news of why is site down guys? I was considering investing in this but I cannot even enter the page. Any of you received some help or info from support?
1409  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: We are against shit faucets. on: December 12, 2015, 03:21:28 AM
Yes, it is very annoying to wait for a faucet to load, fill the captchas, and then get a message that there are no funds or something. Grinding faucets is already quite bothersome and not very cost effective even if they are good, so it is much worse to find those kind of sites.

1410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: exchange question (newbie) on: December 12, 2015, 12:06:29 AM
Seems like you are focused in localbitcoins and several electronic money. But from my (not very expert) point of view, the best margins and trading opportunities are in the BTC/USD dolar pair in high volume exchanges. You can make some profit even with small ups and downs.
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How have you helped spread the adoption of Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2015, 09:27:24 PM
I have told some friends I use it to earn some income, and also have explained it to my brother in-law in more detail. He got interested somewhat, but that (I think) is mainly because he is a computer scientist and it does not frighten it so much.

Most people look at you as if you were talking about toy money or something illegal.
1412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: December 11, 2015, 03:13:27 PM
Faucets will help. Go to faucetbox.com and do the list of faucets there. It is true you do not end earning much, but you earn something and get motivated to try better things.

Also, a good inversion is to post here until you get a member account and can begin earning through signature campaigns.
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Christmas and Bitcoin on: December 11, 2015, 03:04:42 PM
Probably is the block halving. We are coming nearer and nearer to that point, so there are ups and downs, with the downs ending at a higher price while we approach that.

Some people get scary when they see a price over 400 and begin to sell and that is why there are downs to, but the general trend is to go up.
1414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trade based off emotions? on: December 11, 2015, 02:53:18 PM
I have traded based off emotions quite a few times, just because I really do not have that much info or the ability to interpret it correctly. So you just think "it will go down from here" or "it will go up from here" and trade.

Of course, having in mind I can be mistaken and establishing a "B" plan (buying more or not if it goes lower, holding or selling if it goes higher etc.)
1415  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $435. Is it sustainable? on: December 11, 2015, 02:49:39 PM
With the last raise and after going down again, price stabilized in a higher ranger than before. Probably this time is the same, it will go below the 400 in days when some of the people buying will cash out profit. But then it will stabilize probably in the high 300.

Up and down but with a nice ascending trend. That is my sentiment.
1416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decent strategy? on: December 11, 2015, 02:45:43 PM
That strategy is pretty decent because it follows the old advice "buy low, sell high". Problem is, you have to have patience and wait for the price to go low then selling high and all. The risk is price staying low or going much higher than you expected and then not knowing which would be a low price again.
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many lost Bitcoins are out there? on: December 11, 2015, 02:38:07 PM
So the lost of coins means more value for the ones who actually have manegeable coins? That is another good motive to just hold. Lots of coins are lost everyday, adding to the value of the coins we own. Grin
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 simple things about creators of bitcoin on: December 11, 2015, 02:33:27 PM
Well some thoughts on this...

1) When you invent which we could name a "math game" that ends being worth million of dollars, it is not at all strange that you choose to be anonymous. There are lots of lotto winners and other millonaires who prefer to be so. However, it is strange that none has achieved to discover who satoshi is despite the efforts. That is true.

2) Perhaps precisely due to the big finantial crisis, some techy people just came up with the idea that the problem was centralization and ended creating this experiment which then became the Bitcoin we know.

1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 11, 2015, 02:27:48 PM
Imagine all the people.... being satoshi in peace oh, oh....imagine there is no fork, is easy if you try lol
1420  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 nakamoto's ? 1 dead -> bullish? on: December 10, 2015, 10:43:11 PM
Nakamotos appear due to Bitcoin price raise. Price raises, BTC gets attention, journalist and others find about the mistery of Nakamoto, and then they begin to invent stories or to listen to people who invents them.

No surprise really.
