I am kind of hoping for a shake-out event. Perhaps too late though. Definitely not inclined to undertake or support any manipulation. But when it happens, I will definitely seek to exploit it.
Moneroj will be shaken out at a higher price. Right now this is a mere flashback for those holding since last summer. It provides validation to keep the mental strength to hold for longer, not to cash out.

If you guys REALLY want a wooden engraving of the XMR logo and "Monero", I could maybe make it happen with the couple of CNC machines I have access to Hand carved?

Mac download doesn't work on my notebook.
Be more specific please. (osx problems) I could never get the binaries to work on my Mac either. Do this: Ensure Homebrew is installed, it can be found at http://brew.sh Add the repository to brew: brew tap sammy007/cryptonight Build Monero: brew install --HEAD bitmonero

Saddam bids 230 on bar #7.
You see, being the 7th character in the Kingdom, I really want this bar.

Will current version of simplewallet continue to also support restore from the 24 words, or would you have to use an older version?
I.e. if one has a paper wallet using the 24 word seed, do we need to move those funds?
When you open an old wallet in the new version of simplewallet (0.8.8.6+ i think), it update the deprecated wallet file will give you the new 25 word seed.

RIP to the Marquess of Arda. I regret not knowing him well, though I feel his indelible mark in the Ancient era will live on throughout time. Item 4: 65 gold coins. Includes 3 TH sets that were sold at 10 mil/set. See The Marquess of Arda line in the /CKG_COINS. Minimum bid 100 million.
Saddam bids 100m.

I hear that in the new version Gold balances will be private, so I took a few minutes to preserve this transparent time in history (1600). This is a chart showing the distribution of CKG per character in the year 1600 (the end of the Ancient era). Out of the 99 characters with a balance of 10 CKG or higher, the largest demographic is the 1000-2000 CKG group with 22 characters. Raw Data:Quantity of CKG # of Holders ≥ 200,000 1 ≥ 100,000 1 ≥ 50,000 1 ≥ 20,000 4 ≥ 10,000 6 ≥ 5,000 11 ≥ 2,000 21 ≥ 1,000 22 ≥ 500 6 ≥ 100 8 ≥ 50 4 ≥ 10 14

an ugly situation to put someone in.
Have you heard of Monero? It's the situation of a lifetime, Mister.

I also emailed everyone I (personally) know about Monero in November when MyMonero launched. Offered them free monero if they signed up but nobody did it. Now I followed up again the other day, and this is the only response I got. (from a a smart professional person) "I'm moving to the desert to do drugs and leaving all technology behind." Monero is still a difficult pitch for the average person that doesn't care about privacy, doesn't use bitcoin yet, etc.

I sent my mom some bitcoin in early 2013, she enjoyed the run.
Now she asks me, "is Monero better than Bitcoin?"

Only 9 more spots left to get 10 free CKG + 1 gold coin (SA1600J) for new players joining the game!
Gold midprice is holding strong at 462,000 moneritos/CKG (or 0.462 XMR each).

Right now other than speculation and potentially using xmr.to there are even less use cases for Monero than Bitcoin. Not that it's a bad thing (we are just early in the game), but it speaks to its upside price potential being much greater than it is now.
There is this game that is only playable with Monero too...with over 100 players spending thousands of XMR there. I don't know of any game that accepts only Bitcoin and uses it as its in-game currency.

Beware, this site looks just like the recently disappeared Cryptocoins-Dice.com. Take a look at the screenshots in the thread and tell me it doesn't look just like it. Sorry to the owner if this site is legit and just happened to have a similar layout, but the similarity is too uncanny to avoid mention. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=929949.0
