That's what I thought, I just haven't been able to find any adapters or cables that are rated for 220v. If you remember where you got your cables/adapters let us know. thanks
I buy 14AWG cables in bulk from China. I have a company that will custom make any cables I need, I dont order them from normal distributors.

hey lightfoot ,
that's a good idea, will try swapping them around to see if it makes a difference.
Currently I am running my miner at 575M , the boards have a small stickers which says 525M , I would love to overclock them , how ever have noticed that the hash rates start to decrease at 600 and above, any pointers in that direction ?? i have been to a max of 650 and the hash rates still are not as good as they are at 575 . should i try going higher like 700 and 750 ... the temperatures at 600 range seems to be stable .
Thanks,
The 54 chip boards have stock frequencies of up to 650 depending on the batch. (650mh makes the miner run at 5.67TH, they only ever had internal batches like this and none released to the public. ) I would probably not push the machine that hard if you want it to last for an appreciable amount of ttime. Another thing of note, while you do have one board running hotter than the others, even that board is so far inside the safe range I wouldnt even question it. These boards will run to 80c before shutdown.

I have been trying for months to get help setting up their new version of AMS. The instructions from their own github are incomplete and I have yet to receive a single answer in their official IRC support channel.

The APW3 is a terrible power supply. In large bulk orders I have seen 30%+ failure rates. You need to verify the PSU is putting 12v out of the power plugs. Just because the fans running does not mean the PSU is actually putting the power out.

So looking at your screenshot your RPi is not seeing the AUC adapter that goes inline between the RPi and the miner. Until you fix that part, your Avalon will never be seen.
In the CGminer status page, just under the pools section you will see "Avalon Devices" This is where you should see your AUC adapter, if you do not see the adapter there, you have a cabling or an AUC problem.
Which AUC controller do you have? The smaller shrink wrapped version or the one with the hard plastic outer shell? They react differently so it is important to know which one you have.

You will want to run them on a separate controller anyway. If they are all on the same controller you can never update the MM firmware because it is miner specific and the update process happens to all miners on the RPi at once, there is no way to selectively update.

Yea heat in general rises but you will be dumping out much more heat than that natural rise can account for. On days with no wind you will still heat soak the general area. Ducting it to dump elsewhere is an idea but the landlord might not want a steampunk looking warehouse.

I have checked the log, but when the miner quits working, I can't access it to get the log to see WHY it quit working. The ip address for the miner just times out and I have manually reset the miner. I have tried several times to flash the new FW with no luck. Is this a common problem? How long does a typical flash take?
If your machine is fully shutting down there is some other problem. Most likely a PSU issue.

I just bought a Trip-Lite 3' SJT power cable with +60C printed right on the jacket. I also just bought 250' of 10/3 from home depot with +60C right on it. I'd say it's very common in residential applications.
I use 90C and 105C in commercial applications.
Your last post mentioned 105F and 60F as the temp ranges. I think thats the confusion.

If you are exhausting on the same side as your intake you will just be drawing hot air back into the facility and defeating the purpose of the fresh air intake. I have tried a setup like this before and it did not work so well. Cant you add fans and hoods on the roof to exhaust the heat?
