1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: help with My rig on: November 24, 2017, 05:26:56 PM
all gpu fans and leds work until Windows 10 start.

I have GPUs that dont run the fan unless the cards are under load.

Also, you need to get rid of Windows. It is the number 1 cause of mining issues. Read through the posts of people asking for help with their rigs, its 90% windows users that have problems.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gigabyte-GA-H110-D3A Mining board SUCKS! Can't get 6gpu up and running on: November 24, 2017, 05:22:04 PM
I am stuck at Windows logo screen and the loading circle keeps circling.

Found your problem. You are running Windows.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rig with 6x 1080Ti reseting - Need help on: November 24, 2017, 05:20:52 PM
You can get a server PSU that runs that whole rig for under $200.

P.S. those add2psu things are a total waste of money. Just make sure you turn the GPU only PSUs on first then the main one and you wont have any problems. Also you dont need to reset all 3 PSUs to restart the machine, just the one connected to the motherboard.
1084  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ebit e9 miner with 6.8Th/s from Ebang company a new rival for existing producers on: November 24, 2017, 05:16:01 PM
I've also asked multiple times in skype for root password - no luck too

I have confirmation from ebangs executives that they have no plans to ever give the SSH password out.

Maybe the keylogger would work lol
1085  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Do they sell power supplies that can power MANY antminers? on: November 22, 2017, 05:59:01 PM
1. Good luck finding an 9500 watt power supply.

2. You would need a 50 amp circuit and some heavy duty wiring to even try and run a PSU of that size.

3. You are introducing a single failure point for multiple units.

4. Imagine the rats nest of cabling required. You are talking a single PSU with 50 PCIe connectors.

5. It is cost prohibitive. Any PSU with that kind of output would most likely cost thousands of dollars even on the secondary market. Or you can buy 5 $100 PSUs....

etc

etc

etc

1086  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Halong Mining ASIC on: November 22, 2017, 05:52:25 PM
I know of 2 other companies that will be releaseing info on their new miners in January. Let the mining arms race begin!
1087  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Minerwarez official Canaan Distributor on: November 22, 2017, 05:15:20 PM
I got the same email. Very disappointing. I feel like the the KNC neptune fiasco is replaying itself. smh

So one short delay on one batch and the sky is falling? Typical bitcoiner logic.
1088  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PDU choices (switched) for Antminer S9's on: November 22, 2017, 05:14:17 PM
Yea almost all of my PDUs have way more receptacles than we need. It will be much harder to find smaller PDUs than just using the standard datacenter style with a ton of plugs.
1089  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PDU choices (switched) for Antminer S9's on: November 22, 2017, 04:32:17 PM
There are dozens of PDU manufacturers that make smart PDUs.

Tripp lite
Geist
APC
HP

etc

The list goes on.
1090  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Do they sell power supplies that can power MANY antminers? on: November 22, 2017, 04:29:04 PM
Trying to run all of them off of a single giant power supply is a bad idea on so many levels.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Work with BitMinter but balance always zero on: November 22, 2017, 04:25:40 PM
Scroll down to the alt coin section of this forum and you will find all the answers you need on how to use your video card to mine coins.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are ethereum mining calculators online reliable? on: November 21, 2017, 11:39:12 PM
I am not sure you understand how to mine.

1. This is the bitcoin forum, please post in the appropriate section.

2. Mining ethereum requires video cards, not sure what 1800hz of processing power is supposed to be.
1093  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Question pn the APW3++-12-1600 power supply on: November 21, 2017, 11:36:45 PM
It is auto switching, it will sense the voltage on its own.

1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Work with BitMinter but balance always zero on: November 21, 2017, 10:32:33 PM
You will never make any profit trying to mine bitcoins with your PC. It is normal that you have not received a payout because you never will without an ASIC miner.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig freeze shuttoff etc. :( on: November 21, 2017, 05:53:29 PM
The solution is to buy an ASIC miner? This is a bitcoin forum, not sure why you are talking about PC parts.
1096  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: People are so concerned about hardware... It's the algorithm that matters. on: November 21, 2017, 05:43:42 PM
That's the difficulty.  And again, I haven't released full disclosure and now yet you still haven't really answered my question.  I know mining through your server; The blocks are generated at your address and then you send them to my username, my address, after removing your 1% fee.  Which is very just.  I'm sure solo miners would be happy with a 3-5% fee.  As a lottery it could even be a 5-8% fee.  But again, people still have a general understanding mining alone is a lottery.  It is not actually the size of the bitcoin, it's currently difficulty is still making it a solutions to a mathematical problem that is only about 1.1MB.  1 ACIS (to search) and a MacBook Pro (to solve) ... the MacBook can solve in 10 minutes one of the equation.  I reality with the upgraded chip and the ability for my computers to communicate within my internet network 1000X the data per M/H.  I don't have the time to go through this with you or not.  Did the blocks generate through the CK solo pool or not?  3 times this direct question has not been answered.  but if you want to talk to me privately I will explain to you better.  If you withhold information from, I will know.  And, I will act accordingly to release such information.

what the fuck are you even talking about? Nothing you say even makes sense.

1097  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Farm with "Hot Room" and "Cold Room" on: November 21, 2017, 05:38:00 PM
If you are air conditioning your miners you have already made the biggest mistake in mining.

You dont use a fresh air intake in the HOT side of things. The point is to bring fresh air in on the COLD side and exhaust all of the heat on the other side.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: D3, L3+ Received with no PSU on: November 21, 2017, 05:36:03 PM
Sounds like yet another person blaming bitmain because they made an assumption that had nothing to do with reality. They have always shipped different products at different times.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what to mine with an old avalon 200gh/s (from 2014) on: November 21, 2017, 05:25:33 PM
Nothing, just throw it away.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (20/11 update available!) on: November 21, 2017, 05:18:59 PM
Yeah that's just too much man, bitmain must think we have free electricity.  I live in the mountain west and our electric bill averages about 9 cents kWH because of cheap coal, but still 1221 Watts is just too much.

No, bitmain thinks these will be run in datacenters by professional companies. The only miner they designed for home in the last 3 years is the Antminer R4 and it was a disaster. These machines are not meant to be run at home.
