61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling: Modern entertainment or highly addictive game? on: April 11, 2024, 03:19:21 PM

What is online gambling in your personal opinion? Are your feelings different from when you play traditional gambling? Does it affect your gambling habits when you play online? Please share your experiences here.

Gambling has always been highly addictive, especially when people feel the winning streak, we get the feeling that we can win all the time... even after losing a bunch of times we still believe that "our moment" is very close.

I will not force the difference between traditional and online gambling, each of us has some preferences. Slots nowadays are much more interesting than slots from 20 years ago, traditional games are still here, but many of them have different versions with some add-ons. So we can definitely say that gambling games these days are much more interesting than games from before.

The majority of people here on the forum are only online gamblers, and I believe that many of us will never stop gambling online.

I don't see that happening anymore as well. Sometimes the first thing to do upon waking up is check whether our bets win using our phones. We log on to our laptops and then we also log in using our phones so wherever we go our addiction comes along even when we commute the train, we browse our phones. Our phones are fueling the addiction as well.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Church Business on: April 10, 2024, 04:53:23 PM

Church are successful businesses as they are not taxed as well. This makes it a big opportunity for a person who is looking for ways to make money. As we can see there are hundreds to thousands of Churches already every town I think has its unique church names different from Catholicism but still teaches Christ.
63  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Illegal in Nepal? on: April 10, 2024, 03:34:05 PM

There are still a few countries that made crypto illegal even at this age. You can already tell how many people are going to be left behind in this technology while the rest of the world is moving on. I'd be surprised if they have CBDC yet skipped crypto. No chance of getting freedom in those countries.

Someone should protest for this and put a Bitcoin Flag up there on Mt Everest.
64  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBet Biggest Scam and Violation of Terms on: April 10, 2024, 03:06:39 PM
1xBet and 1xBit have been known scams for years now on this forum. There are hundreds of affected and innocent players that have lost their money there and have not received their withdrawals because of reasons they invented.

However, when it comes to gambling from restricted countries, it's also the player's job to make sure that's not happening. You knew that gambling in Iran is against the laws of your country, and you did it anyway. You knew that 1xBet doesn't allow Iranians on their site, but you played there anyway.

Both the casino and yourself are at fault here for different reasons. It might be hard for you to hear that or I might sound unfair, but that's the way it is.

Some say they are two different companies but some people linked both are the same. They anyhow have been known to have scammed people so whether they are one or two different companies, they are both scams still.

But OP already admitted he is an addict and lost 1.4M USD in 2 nights. Seem like there is nothing else that can be done here but for him to find a lawyer.

You forgot to add a referral code for users to register, it's required info for someone to be able to register. I was trying to register to look what's inside but it looks like it's an invite-only website. Is this a pyramid thing?

From what I understood those who register will market the platform and the products from linework.online? It should be easy if you post all the information here.

66  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I own Bitcoin from 2009/2010 I know my seed phrase I need help loging in pls hlp on: April 09, 2024, 03:29:33 PM

His inbox must have been full already from the users volunteering to do it for him taking half of the amount. Easy to believe those scammers really until you give that dat file of yours.

$20 worth of BTC during that time, must be really a lot. I think the value was less than $1 at that time. But this could also be a scam that OP is orchestrating. We just have no idea whether OP is also a scam, its too good to be true indeed.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 09, 2024, 03:19:01 PM
@Baofeng. I reckon Inoue should not fight against someone without a big name. This thread is only 4 pages, however, the scam ICO fight of Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is more than 5 pages already hehehe. Why is this? This certainly implies that Inoue has not yet reached the same type of popularity like Pacman. Also, Inoue's fight is in Japan? He should begin to fight his championship defenses in as Vegas the fight capital of the world. There will also be more money in his purse if he will fight in Las Vegas.
But who he will fight, in his division when he is the king of all the organizations, the closest one so far is Nery, but when he steps into the Featherweight Division things will be interesting and exciting, as the featherweight is loaded with tough fighters.

I agree, Inoue has face the best of this division has to offer, Fulton, Tapales and now Nery. He just needed Casimero in his hitlist and then he complete cleaning up this division. This thread is only 4 pages before the OP has put this very early and we must have forget about this fight because there are big fights that is coming as well. But I do agree that Inoue should step out of his comfort zone and fight in the US.

If he decides to go further like Manny Pacquiao did he will be on the biggest challenge, the Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight will have a lot of challenges so the biggest question is can he hold on to these divisions?

It will be a big test for Inoue at 126 lbs if he decided to move up. Still there are news that him and Tank Davis is possible for 135 lbs but let's see. I think this could still be considered as a great fight for Inoue.

Tank vs Inoue will be one big fight I think the whole of Japan will fly wherever the fight will be. And this will really be a big money. At 135lbs, Inoue will still be a fast fighter and can fight toe-to-toe with Tank. However, they will not likely make this fight happen until there is a good reason for one to be thrown out the window.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dana thought he lost $80k one night and his advice for gamblers on: April 08, 2024, 06:04:53 PM
When it comes to gambling, the mixture of money, drugs, and alcohol is undoubtedly dangerous. It can impair our judgment, resulting in bad decisions and even dangerous situations. Even if people don't have millions of dollars to lose, they can still make rash decisions and lose more money than they can afford. It's like an endless loop: the more we lose, the more we feel compelled to recover our losses, which can lead to even more rash decisions.
Which is what we should keep from this story as a lesson: anyone who's combining anything that was mentioned earlier during gambling is bound to eventually lose all their money. As I already mentioned, the most important part of this story that concerns us isn't that he actually lost $3 million, but what habits and behaviors to avoid during gambling. You don't need an abundance of money to lose everything, and I'm guessing that the majority of us here cannot afford to be as reckless as Dana.

This must be a big lesson not just for him but for everyone here who are fond of drinking while gambling. Just like Dana said, drinks are offered for free but it does not mean that you need to drink while you are gambling. So it’s actually having your own discipline so you won’t get drunk and will stay focus on your stake. However, I believe not everyone is good enough not to drink but the fact that alcohol will create a dizziness effect and will get you off from your consciousness, then it’s a must to avoid drinking while your are gambling. Otherwise, you will end up making worst things out of your consciousness and eventually regret in the end.

Let put it this way mate, you don't drink alcoholics that have high chance of getting someone drunk, because when we use the word Drinking it can be water, fruit juice, wine ,whiskey, etc. So the best opinion as you have given is not getting drunk while gambling.
It normal as the big guys are fond of drinking while they gamble but you the low guys only get drunk when they lose. In essence the message Dana was passing out but seems most persons didn't really get, is for gamblers to build discipline so as to avoid Ill situations from gambling.

Imagine it was someone else (poor, middle class) that was in such situation it would have resulted  to  suicide, depression, emotional disturbance. So by all means Moderation and Discipline is needed as a gambler. Because it takes only  a system to conquer another system, so as to make you the master of the game and not been played by the game.

He is rich and from what I have heard, his message is that losing and winning is part of gambling. This is for the rich, middle class and poor who are trying to gamble, they have to understand that this can happen to all whether they lose or win regardless of whether them being drunk or not. And so if you are not ready to accept you lost a hundred and you wanna come back for it, then you are going to start a bad habit, that is the crossroad right there.

70  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not forget your Bitcointalk account password!!! on: April 08, 2024, 08:05:00 AM
What I am saying is that, those of us that are using an email address that we have forgotten the password or don't have access to the password, should go and create a new emails address and change it with the old one, so that incase you forget your password or don't have access to your bitcointalk account, you will not be worried, as you can just use your email to login to your Bitcointalk account with ease, because a link will be sent to that email from the admin here, which gives you access to change your password and login.
The challenge is that for some users, the email address used in opening the forum is invalid, so whenever they lose or forget their login details (password), their account goes dormant because they are unable to log back in. Tell newbies who are interested in opening forum accounts to always use a valid email address that is active to avoid future problems.

Try not to save any password in your head, because it is a big risk but write it down in a notebook, and back it up so that when you misplace wherever you wrote your password down, you can reach out for the back ups.
An easy password can easily be kept in memory. You do not have to use complicated passwords that you think will make your account more secure.

Yep I bet people can still grab an account in here just trying each off the account with a password Bitcoin123, if you hear someone bragging they have an account hacked in here, I'm sure that account must have just the same password.

The forum though doesn't ask for email verification during registration that's why some will just register Jeberish email and instantly have an account.

You ain't gonna get 40ETH for that shit. They know it is another scam, just ask yourself whether you will buy your own token and if the answer is yes, gotta be high. Just list it in UNI and see for yourself if the volume reaches 0.001ETH you're already lucky to have dumped them the max supply.  Your username speaks for itself.  Grin
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 07, 2024, 04:14:01 PM
Legendary boxer vs Clown, You made me laugh so much when you said this, hahahah. But it makes sense, which I also think is true. Is that the type where you fight the black belter against the yellow belter? That's how it used to be for me that the gap is so far.

I can't imagine that you are going to fight the former heavyweight world boxing champion in the ring if you know that you are not a heavyweight. It's like what I'm still seeing there: steel vs. wood.

How come that clown was able to knock out more experienced opponents if was a «yellow belter» ? That clown had a fight against a professional boxer (if you would say that other opponents were not boxers and were retired), and he did not looked bad. Lost by split decision, but he wasnt knocked out, humiliated or destroyed. The clown has been training boxing for 4-6 years already, and you still call him a «yellow belter». Do you think that during last 4-6 years Mike Tyson has been frequently seen in the boxing gym or in regular gym? From your post it sounds like it will be a beating, but there is always a chance for a sudden knockout.
@kingvirtus09 must be living in the past, he didn't know that Mike Tyson is already old, while Jake Paul though he looks like a clown but he had proven himself as he had more wins than losses, and even fought real pro and able to win. Mike Tyson is old, that's it, even if he is a legendary boxer but he isn't actively fighting anymore, so it's too risky for him to all out in the ring with a younger boxer as his mind might say yes but his body will not cooperate.

We have our own personal opinion here, we respect each other but my stand is Jake Paul are going to win the fight.

AFAIR, there will be no winner if no knockout, so I'm expect he could knock out an old Mike Tyson.

That's the rule no KO no winner and they are also wearing huge gloves for sparring. If Jake KO Mike, this is really something to disgust about this clown. This fight is an exhibition and it is meant to be a DRAW. Those videos showing Mime to have amazing agility are just for the PR.

But it's possible that he will actually KO Mike, he tried it against Anderson Silva.
73  Other / Meta / Re: Can a lost account be recover? on: April 07, 2024, 03:37:38 PM
If it is your personal wallet then you can recover it if you had created a backup of your wallet. If it is an exchange wallet then you can get access only through contacting the exchange. If non of those are your issue then plase explain the reason for creating this topic.

I'm also not sure what he is asking whether its a wallet that he is asking. Which normally a newbie will be asking for as well.

But if he means forum account then yes as long as he can still login to his email he can recover. But most newbies that come here asking for password actually meant his wallet password.

75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 03, 2024, 03:51:47 PM
I read the rules or supposedly rules and the only way to end this fight is through knockout, so that will be vicious and we will see if Tyson still has the power, (I believed so as this is natural to him).
I can't remember since when I've seen this kind of rules but I doubt it that this is going to be a natural one but I'd like to see how powerful still Tyson is. He might be that old but his experience and his body is still being trained continuously but with his speed, that's what Jake can see where he's got the advantage. But we still have the discussions about Mike being on his prime and he'd surely be easily knocking out Jake if they both live on the same era. Let's stop with that argument because it's not the kind of thing that we'd see in our lifetime.

I have not read the rules but I don't believe such a rule exists. Although this is an unfair match, this is still under the regulations of concerned agencies. And I don't think an agreement that says the only way for this match to end is through a knockout would be approved.

In the end this is more of an exhibition match than a real fight. Of course this is Jake Paul, he doesn't really fight. He just boxes against anybody he thinks he has an advantage. If possible, he wants the opponent to be interesting enough to make money. Tyson will probably just play along and earn.

I'm not sure if you have read @hilariousetc posted regarding the rules.

But as stated, it could be a hybrid between pro rule and exhibitions matches that's why you will not find it any any boxing rules as it is not exist and maybe they just made it up for this fight because they also take into consideration Tyson age that's why they said it's 2 minutes.

Not final yet and not official, so we will have to see what will be the rules.

Perhaps if there is such a leak they maybe it might be as close as what the rules might be in this fight. And it makes the fight very interesting as we have said.

The fight is a joke in the beginning so it's not surprising anymore when it comes to how funny the rules are.
It's just like Royce vs Mike which means this is exactly an exhibition fight. 2 minute round will only result in a decision which is absurd because it also says the only way to win the fight is by way of KO. But good luck with that because they are wearing sparring gloves.

But this is on Netflix, nothing is lost when you already have an account.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30,170 BTC worth $2B sent to Coinbase on: April 03, 2024, 01:59:26 PM

I'm sure there will be a lot of people interested in buying those coins in an auction so it's a wonder why the government has to send it to Coinbase but I'm speculating these coins are meant to be sent for Blackrock to buy.  And I mean Coinbase is the custodial of Bitcoin ETF.

I'm sure they could really be dealing in secret if they should but it's in blockchain so let it be public.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affilate programs work in casinos? on: March 28, 2024, 03:45:52 PM
Its simple. The casino will give you a link. If any person signs up using your link and deposit into their account, you get a commission. This is the simplest explanation. It's no different from regular affiliate programs. It's a lot of work because you need to have a large social media following if you want to earn side cash this way. Having a large following on social media and making interesting posts that will get engagements then you plug the code underneath it.

I think this is a referral program.

Casino offers specific programs to potential targets like VIP programs and affiliates are given specific links to make people sign up to this link. Most affiliates will only be approved if they have a website with a high flow of traffic.
78  Other / Politics & Society / National Guard to be deployed on April 8 during Solar Eclipse on: March 26, 2024, 05:38:05 PM

Quote
It’s not uncommon for events with large turnouts to require heightened security, which is exactly why the state of Oklahoma will be deploying its National Guard to help with crowd control during the upcoming total solar eclipse. The solar eclipse will occur on April 8, and the city of Idabel is among 13 of the best locations to witness this celestial spectacle. Idabel, which is located in McCurtain County, stands to be overwhelmed by as many as 100,000 tourists and spectators whose presence will most certainly overwhelm local resources if they don’t have any additional support.

Solar Eclipse Deploys National Guard To Deal With 100,000 People By Robert Scucci | Published 6 hours ago

We have been watching the eclipse since we were kids and it will last only just a few minutes and nothing special about it anymore actually.
So what exactly is going to happen on April 8 that they need to deploy the National Guard? It looks like something is going to happen.
79  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boeing whistleblower John Barnett murdered on the day of his testimony on: March 26, 2024, 05:32:26 PM
There I was thinking that it's only in Africa, that you'd find corruption in government and the untouchables, now it's clear that it's human nature for the powerful to oppress the common man and conceal the truth if it'll go against them. In the Boeing whistleblower's case, it could be that the pressure of the case got him emotional and he took his own life or perhaps some illness, but we can not rule out the possibilities of murder, because he had already opened up a can of worms, and heads were going to role at the end of the case, so silencing him will was their best option.

Don't speak too much of it also. Remember we are commoners also.

The media plays an important role in what they are doing though. The issues are going to be buried down when more terrible stuff happens. Boeing is bankrupt but forget about that becuase Moscow attacked by terrorists is more gruesome to talk about, that's what the media will feed the people.
