I want to make a pool for PPCoin, the exchanger and the stock exchange. Is there a source? I believe that the undivided hegemony coinotron.com must come to an end https://ppcoin.d7.lt/I used d7. so far so good...

Does PPC do anything differently than Bitcoin to address the blockchain size issue? I realize some do not consider the size an issue. But, I'm still curious to know how PPC handles it. *edit* Sunny answered my question in a PM. See below: Hi Quantum,
Not currently. There is a min output amount at 1 cent, to reduce 'dust' transactions. This would make ppcoin less prone to SatoshiDice type of usage, thus delaying the block chain growth to some extent.
There are proposals under evaluations to address block chain growth, the one I currently favor is a recycling/rolling block chain. I don't know if bitcoin team would choose to implement a similar feature, but if they don't, then eventually ppcoin could support it. Currently ppcoin block chain is about 70MB.
Best Regards,

Putting Chinese symbols there probably would limit its popularity. I don't know. Let's see how well it's received. Thanks to robotrebellion and Mjbmonetarymetals for contribution of graphics work Oh and a new term 'eco-currency'

Well my thoughts were china is a fifth of the worlds population so it's could be a good move, I've given the thread a bump as this altcoin forum is moving at break neck speed. Anyone else have an opinion on the logo , ........ We could end up with PPcoin up in lights too !!!!!

I think the green theme is a winner. Not too sure on the chinese element to it but it looks very professional.

My vote is for a sun or sunshine theme, along with a rename to SUNcoin. The coins would probably be referred to as "sunnies" by the community. That has a nice ring to it.
Come on Sunny, change the name already!

I don't get how other altcoins are priced higher than ppc, even FTC released a few days ago is worth more than PPC.

The other coins are repeatedly pumped and dumped, resulting in what appears to be a steady long term increase. I've heard its harder to do this with PPC. Not sure why. Regardless, the others are sitting on a house of cards and will plummet in value if and when the pumping stops.

Might also be related to the fact that those other altcoins have issued much smaller amounts of coins so far. Going by market cap, ppcoin is about on par with namecoin, and about 5x bigger than the next one (terracoin). About 10x as big as feathercoin.

Because there's a tons of PPC out there, the new coins are relatively scarce. The price on new coins should drop in a few months, if not weeks.

I think dustcoin's calculation is a bit off for feathercoin, it's 4x too low. FTC has close to 30k BTC market cap today.
