Here, I altered the design just a little bit to connect the two P's at the top and in the middle so it doesn't look like it says IP anymore. What do you think?
Very nice. These designs are constantly improving to more beautiful and impressive direction. To this one I don't even have any suggestions to improve, it's out of my league in a good way

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Darn you guys are getting some nice logo designs done. Where were you designers when DeVCoin was giving out bounties for graphics? I thing we only have a few bounties left now to give out for such things. -MarkM-

Someone posted a very interesting pie-chart on mining revenue:
That would be me, here is an updated version LTC gained against all other alt coins broadly, but the BTC portion of the market remains roughly the same vs the alt portion. Also sal002 of coinchoose.com has expressed interest in reproducing this graph on his site. Also I was a bit unsure how PPC revenue should be calculated, are block rates for PoS and PoW created at different rates? I want to know the total growth in market cap for the coin from all sources so I took the numbers from http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency which says blocks are 10 minutes, rewards are 400 and valuation relative to BTC is 0.00225, did I miss the PoS generation and is their a way to measure it? http://dustcoin.com/mining lists a market capitalization for PPCoin so I assume it is possible to get a grand total. If I've made an error and a proper calculation can be provided I will try to see that it's corrected in any future graphs.

Sentinelrv I like that one. Made it into an icon. Not sure if I'll keep it but someone else might want it: 120 x 120 80 x 80

I actually like the P symbol more now that it's squished closer together. It looks better than the spaced out version we were working with. Nice work ! I believe sunny mentioned it's not IP ( the original ) whereas I do tend to agree without the "p" attached it has That look,Although I made the left p slightly narrower this time to indicate it was behind the top P.

Wired's math skills make mine look absolutely genius and we all know that's not true. ;o) "BTC-e and Cryptonit are two of the main exchanges that accept PPCoin. Its current value is around 0.002BTC (£0.01) per PPCoin." vs. "Freicoin is currently traded on Vircurex and Bter. The price per freicoin price is roughly 0.0006BTC (£0.04)."

^^ That is good. Here are the updated designs from the people I'm working with. Just so everybody is clear, I don't care in the slightest which logo is picked, I've not worked on any of them personally. If some definitive choice is made, however, then I'm going to stop working with them as it just cost my time ultimately.

If some definitive choice is made, however, then I'm going to stop working with them as it just cost my time ultimately. I personally haven't liked any of those designs, but thanks for helping out. The more we have to choose from the better. And speaking of choice, how exactly are we going to nail down which one to use? Should we start another thread with a poll in it or does Sunny have the final say? We should also decide on the slogan. "Currency Needn't Cost the Earth" is more obvious it's eco-friendly where "Redefining the Nature of Curreny" is more subtle. Not sure which one I like better. Also, I'm not sure if I like the updated design as much. There seems to be too much going on now, where the previous version was simpler and cleaner. I also don't like the ridges around the outside of the coin, though others might. I haven't seen Bitcoin or Litecoin use ridges before. I think we need to have more opinions on it.

Yes, there needs to be a lot more opinions, and personally, I think the designs are still evolving so let's not kill something prematurely. And FWIW my favorite is probably Monetarymetal's currently, though I'd like to see some depth to it personally...don't ask me how to do that, I am not a designer And sentinel, not liking something IS feedback, its what I need to steer designers.
