Yes it should be, there should be a strict law pertaining the use of gun. The regulations and implementations must be strictly observed not only by the citizens but strictly uphold by the government. i agree with this, because if someone have a gun without license, that person can harm people around him and could make someone to get killed. although in every country the laws about gun control is different, but the government should make a statement or constitution to explain that having a gun without license is prohibited and can make us get arrested.

i think the control of having a gun can make limitations of having a gun privately and can control crime in every place.

Sorry, if I didn't make myself clear, but I didn't mean that the willing to have a gun to protect yourself can be somehow interpreted as a mental illness. I was just saying that only people in their right mind should be allowed to have guns. I think it's an obvious thing, we don't want armed lunatics on our streets.
