Extremely glad to hear that Cricket has been added to the 2028 Olympics finally. I guess the surge in interest in the sport in USA and other countries helped the IOC take this decision.

Seems like there will be a couple of T20 format games(Men and Women) which will provide valuable Olympic medals to various countries. Excited!

That is good for International cricket because that is good decision by America. USA cricket team participated in last World Cup and they performed very well in that tournament. So USA government is very happy because before USA had no cricket team but now they has reputation on International level due to the host of last World Cup and also players performed well against Pakistan and many other teams and they were also close to win against India but they could not win the match due to bad luck but all players have capacity to win against any team of World. That Pakistani team played 2nd last World Cup final against Australia but in last World Cup they did not qualify for super 8 due to USA win.

Washington Freedom is a very good and strong team proved in this season Hopefully they will continue to play like this in the future and in next tournament.San Francisco's unicorns lost the match by a significant margin and lost the final match. I was hoping they would win, but unfortunately they disappointed their fans.washigton freedom won the match by 96 runs. Washington freedom played very well and made their fans very happy by wining the match. Their team won the match with a lot of dedication and hard work. Washington freedom won by total runs for 207/5 and won the match. San Francisco's unicorns total runs for 111 and lost the match. The final match between San Francisco's unicorns and Washington freedom at the country grand Prairie stadium. San Francisco's unicorns won the toss and batting first. The best batting performance in the Washington freedom man team was by Steven Smith scored 88 runs and 52 balls hitting 7 fours and 6 sixs. Steven Smith very talented boy for Washington freedom team member.

I am really wondered about the performance of Washington Freedom sqaud in final match and I am familiar much from this competition Major League Cricket and I only watched some matches but I especially watch this final match among Washington Freedom against San Francisco Unicorns sqaud. Before start this match, I am not expecting that we see such massive differences in their performance. San Francisco Unicorns sqaud also did very hard work to reaching this spot in final match but their performance was really bad first in bowling and then in batting Inning. Washington Freedom sqaud posted such a big scores Defeating target of total 207 and this could be done by only the performance of this batter Steven Smith made 88 scores. But San Francisco Unicorns batters did not deliver such a good performance in their batting inning and just achieved 111 scores and faced defeat by 96 scores.

Including cricket in Olympics is a welcome move, but this could have been done at least two decades back. And even now the ICC is putting a lot of roadblocks on the plan. They want a 6-team tournament (can you believe the audacity?) and no qualifying tournament. I am not sure whether the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will even agree to these insane demands. Fans are pressurizing the ICC to get cricket included in the Olympics, but the administrators themselves doesn't have much interest.

If the sport is exclusively played by South Asians with a sprinkling of West Indians and South Africans, then it won't be able to grow. And this is required, as South Asians are just 1-2% of the US population. In order for cricket to grow in US, it needs to be more inclusive.

There is an interesting article in Emerging Cricket about the expansion of Women’s T20 World Cup to 16 teams from 2030 onwards. The upcoming edition features just 10 teams (and out of that only one is associate - Scotland). The 2026 edition will feature 12 teams, and there is a likelihood that at least 2-3 associates may feature in that event. For comparison, the 2024 Men's T20I World Cup featured 20 teams in total.

BTW, some news is coming in regarding the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup qualification. East Asia-Pacific has lost it's assured qualification spot and they now need to compete together with the Asian teams for a total of 3 spots. Europe (2), Africa (2) and Americas (1) together contribute for 5 remaining spots.

The problem with them is that USACA has a reputation for being extremely corrupt. ICC has provided plenty of funds to them in the past, but most of it was mismanaged. I would rather argue that funds should be spent on emerging nations such as Uganda, Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Scotland, where large number of locals are playing cricket.

Yes Brampton wolves played this game with outstanding effort but in today game, SB team showed excellent teamwork and struggle in full game and won this game by big margin of wickets and balls. This was 11 th game and played between MO team and SB team. SB team won toss and chose field first. MO team set difficult target of 116 runs in 100 balls by losing 6 wickets. But SB team effort was more good than MO team and chased this target easily and won game by 22 balls and 7 wickets.  Overton got a player of game award because he took down 2 wickets in 20 balls with 11 runs. Madsen batted with well effort and he made 43 runs in 37 balls and hitted four 4s but their team lost this game and his effort was wasted.

VAK Squad played first and made 149/4 runs. Excellent batting by Richie Berrington scored 38 runs and remained unbeaten and Asif Ali played 36 runs innings, both helped his team to posted the target of 150 runs for BRW. BRW bowling Brilliant Thomas Draca took two wickets. BRW successfully chased the total the loss of four wickets and 2 over spare in the game. Beau Webster played a magnificent 49 runs on just 37 deliveries, helping his team to win the game, while Nick Hobson, with 37 runs on the crease both players contributed good runs to the team total. VAK teams fought hard but failed to defend this average total and lost this game very badly.

Although India will win this match easily, not as we expected them to win. They will win this game but we had hopes to see amazing batting by Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer but we have see the opposite because they are the main players and they have to play amazingly but they all play so poorly except Rohit Sharma.

There is only Rohit Sharma who has given his best to the team otherwise others won't even reach thirty. Except Rohit Sharma no one is in the form and not playing well. Riyan Parag and Rishabh Pant are not in the team, also Hardik Pandya is not in the squad so I think it could be a reason but still the full team still has to bat well.

I think now the BCCI and the captain of the team Rohit Sharma should have to drop Shubman Gill  from the team and also the team have to notice him, he is not playing like he did in the World Cup 2023 and he was the main player there but now so poor performance by him.

Also in the IPL 2024 he did not play in good way and because of that performance, BCCI dropped him from the World Cup but still he has no improvement. He also did so poor bowling but that is ok because that is not his main role but in batting he has to play well but as we have seen his performance. Before the 2023 World Cup, he was looking an upcoming legend and now he is unable to sustain that performance.

Yes ,you are right. Uganda and Scotland and Nepal are good country because they struggled a lot for cricket. Uganda and Scotland played last World in which they tried their best to win match. I am especially impressed by Scotland International cricket team because they are hard working players and they did well for improvement and their confidence is good. Scotland team could play well in future if that hire good coach like Moen Khan and Waseem Akram. I am a big fan of Waseem Akram bowling and he is legend in International cricket and he trained KKR players for the bowling and KKR won most of the IPL final.Pakistani Cricket did not take advantage from that Diamond and that's why Pakistani International team is disrespected and they could not perform well in last World Cup and they flopped in all things.

Also Sri lanka did not win this game but they managed to level the match. India team just needing one run to win but all batsman wicket was out and also three overs left for play. India lose some good wickets in last over. Both teams showed great teamwork with determination with Sri Lanka successfully stopping a normal target of 230. Rohit Sharma and Dube both showcased amazing skill of batting but other batsman did not support. Well.. for that Wasim needs to be interested as well. Why should he abandon his lucrative deals with TV channels and focus on a coaching role? BTW, Pakistan can help associate nations such as Nepal and Scotland in a big way. The national team can play 1-2 matches when they tour England. These matches will act as warmups for the regular Pakistan team. They can also arrange U-23 and A team tours to some of the associate nations. Another suggestion will be to allow players from associate nations in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the T20 series between Sri Lanka and India, we saw that the Indians with a young team won the T20 series against Sri Lanka by 3-0. But we saw the opposite in the ODI series between them, because in the ODI series Indians drew the first ODI match against Sri Lanka with a full strength team. Sri Lankans really did a great performance against India in the first ODI they scored 230 runs batting first. Looking at these few runs we imagined that maybe the Indians will win easily with some strong batsmen added to their team. Then they failed to reach their victory point.

Anindu Hasaranga and Charith Asalanka bowled brilliantly for the Sri Lankan team with both bowlers taking three wickets each. Rohit Sharma is the only Indian captain who managed to complete his half century in yesterday's match. In other words, all other batsmen have failed.

In yesterday’s match between Sri Lanka and India, the team of Sri Lanka don’t had an amazing and good start. As they lost their one wicket on 2.3 over. There was a point when everyone was saying it would be won by the Indian team but after some time the game had fully shifted the momentum.



After the 10th over, once again the Indian team rose and they picked one more wicket after that, 4 overs later the Sri Lanka team lost a wicket once again and after struggling too hard they reached to 231 but their bowlers played amazingly to defend this moderate total and this match was drawn.
