the match is currently going on and it looks like India is going to win the match very easily.  India has already scored 123 In only 19.2 overs and they have only lost 3 wickets while doing so.  right now India Needs to score 118  more and the required run rate is not even 4 per over.  so it should be pretty easy for India to win this match from here.

Rohit Sharma outclassed batting scored 64 runs well deserved half century by 44 balls and Axar Patel also batting well scored 44 runs, unfortunately missed half century by 6 runs short and india lost the match after last hope Axar Patel got out. Now 3rd match of the series is remaining if India wins then they have a chance to level the series

But Sri Lanka sqaud made a strong comeback in ODi competition and second match, Sri Lanka squad has managed to collect 240 scores as a Defeating target which seem not hard task for Indian sqaud to achieve it but their batters displayed very slow innings after losing some main wickets like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Dube. Sri Lanka squad emerged victorious by massive scores 32 and also almost 8 overs remain to play but all wickets of Indian was wiped out.

That is great victory by Sri Lankan team. Sri Lankan team is becoming my favorite team because of their best performance in ODI matches. Indian International ODI cricket team is top of the World and openers of India are top of the rank and they always won due to their batting but in last two matches we saw tough competition between India and Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan gave tough time to top class batters of India.  I think now Indian team home work not good and they need more practice. And I always saw best bowlers from Sri Lankan team but In last few years, Sri Lankan team face many challenges and that team performance was not good but now they are looking in good form and they have capability to win against any team because they are full confident to win against India.

The irony is that Indians are the ones who used spin-friendly conditions for the maximum use, whenever SENA teams used to tour that country. IMO, a complete reshuffle is needed. Oldies such as Virat and Rohit need to be told that they need to focus on test cricket.

Some very interesting news coming in. It is confirmed that Mohsin Naqvi of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will become the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in a few months from now. He will replace Jay Shah, who is aiming for the post of ICC chairman. Greg Barclay, the incumbent chairman of the ICC is unlikely to get anymore extensions and Jay Shah may replace him once his term is over. But then, some uncomfortable questions are raised. What will happen if the BCCI refuses to send the team to any of the ACC events that are being hosted in Pakistan? What will Naqvi do in such occasions?

After that last third T20 match which goes to the super over finally the ODI series started and in the first match, once again the Sri Lanka did all the right things but they almost lost that match but waited for the twist when in the last 2 balls of the 47th or 48th overs, the two wickets fell and that match was tied too.

In the second ODI match, we found nervousness in the Indian team players because in the last match, they did not perform well. However, finally, the hopes of Sri Lanka were complete and they got the result of their hard work as they won the match. Then was the third ODI match between them which was also won by Sri Lanka and like this, they won the ODI series as they lost the T20 series. It was mixture of good luck and hard work for Srilanka that resulted in the ODI series in their name.

No doubt it is the teamwork effort of the Sri Lankan that created this historic moment. It is worth remembering the match.  
After the great and excellent effort of the Avishka Fernando and Pathum Nissanka , when Pathum Nissanka lost his wicket on 49, then Kusal Mendis (the vice captain) stabled the game in very good way but when Kusal Mendis and Avishka Fernando both has been out then we are looking to the Sri Lanka team that they are not under pressure that time because their middle order was not too good.

As they lost two to three wickets back to back in which the Charith Asalanka the captain also included, but the important thing was they were batting with a good strike rate and no matter what happened they did not let down their strike rate which was such a good thing and that mindset allowed them to make good runs.

In the end, the ACC chairman is the one who need to take the decision. And here, the ACC chairman will be the PCB representative, so he will be caught between a rock and a hard place. If he stays firm and ask the BCCI to honor their commitments, then Indian team will pull out and that will impact the revenue inflows. If he chose the other option, then he will be under fire from his own board. Anyway, since the India-Pakistan drama is not going to end anytime soon, time has come to think about a permanent solution.

Yes , you are right. Indian batting line up played very bad and could not complete 248 runs . Sri Lankan team won the match by 110 runs  and Sri Lankan team won the series by 2 in 0 . No body expected that Sri Lankan team will play that kind of matches . After winning the World Cup, that kind of performance is disappointing. Some very interesting news coming in. It is confirmed that Mohsin Naqvi of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will become the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in a few months from now. He will replace Jay Shah, who is aiming for the post of ICC chairman. Greg Barclay, the incumbent chairman of the ICC is unlikely to get anymore extensions and Jay Shah may replace him once his term is over. But then, some uncomfortable questions are raised. What will happen if the BCCI refuses to send the team to any of the ACC events that are being hosted in Pakistan? What will Naqvi do in such occasions?

Yeah I agree, ICC is surely doing their best for keeping things on track and having all cricket nations on single platform but sadly India-Pakistan tension is surely not under their control even recently we have stick order from the ITF and then Indian tennis team was in Pakistan for Davis Cup, but ICC is completely different story because here Indian influence is huge, and they are also having 80% market cap in cricket as well.

Exactly Mohsin Naqvi PCB Chairmen will be the chairman of the Asian Cricketer Council at the start of 2025. He will replace Jay Shah as the chairman of the Asian Cricket Council. who is ruling for the third consecutive time, he took a one-year extension at the start of 2024 which is his third year of the extension. Jay Shah is a candidate for ICC Chairman, but if Mohsin Naqvi is elected as the Chairman of the Asian Cricketer Council, then he will try his best to ensure that every event that is hosted by Pakistan will be played in Pakistan. The ICC has made it clear that India will send its team to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy otherwise, Sri Lanka will qualify for the Champion Trophy 2025.
