Bars of gold would never function as real tank treads, it is way too soft, it would just rip apart.

We'd also need to figure out how to get all that gold we sent to China back.  I don't see how it could be done.  Probably easier to transmutate some element into gold than to pry it back out of the Orient at this point.  Much of what China got was probably the gold we were 'hodling' for Germany I'll bet.  Hehe.

Anyway, for the reasons you point out, if tank tracks are to be made of gold bars it makes it relatively easy to figure out where to pan for gold and look for nuggets.  I think I've found exactly one fleck of color in the few times I've tried my hand at panning gold...and that well my have been iron pyrite.

California awards its delegates by congressional district so it could easily be proportional amongst all the candidates. Most likely Trump will win the few large Congressional districts in the big cities but Cruz and Kashsish could win a lot of the farmland districts throughout the state.

United under the U.N.  That's fine with me if that's what you want.

My best hope for Trump is that he will totally shit-can the U.N. and he seems to be making some noises like he is inclined in that direction.  A monetary catastrophe would be the time to do it since the very meaning or rich (e.g., those who control the wheels and gears of the U.N.) and poor will be up-in-the-air.  If Trump is a good leader he'll probably get 8 years and it is quite likely that there will be upheavals within that time-frame...if not before his first day.  Clearly the money behind the U.N. is jockeying to pick up most of the pieces and put them into their own pocket after a monetary detonation, and a populist and nationalist like Trump leading the U.S. could be a huge problem for them.

If I were Trump I would have the U.S. simply walk away from the U.N. outright (and kick them out of New York and demo their building there.)  We could volunteer to participate in a brand new cleanly done international organization with a charter limited to only what is necessary for international relations and no more.  We simply don't need an organization to dictate and micro-manage the lives of every person in the world or every last resource in each country.  And we absolutely don't need them using us as fighting dogs for their amusement and profit a-la the 'immigration' issues which are going on in Western Europe.
