I think this is the year of the bitcoin due to the future it will create this year for sure, also due to the halving this is the year of the bitcoin.
The fact is also that the halving will let the price rise for sure.
I hope in this year, there will be no big pump and dump like we saw in 2013. The price rises slowly, may be 10% a a month. |

It sure will be a good year for bitcoin. The price is back up finally so now it's time for some new technologies integrated in bitcoin
do you think bitcoin prices will rise up to ? many people who say that. This year was a wonderful year for bitcoin, if the price does not exceed $ 500 I would not say that this is the year of bitcoin well if the price does not rise it does not mean that it was a bad year for bitcoin, as companies might still adopt them though i hope that this year will be wonderful because after halving the price will be pumped up and people will get interested into bitcoins That's it. Too many people are only focused on the price lately. Instead they should look how the infrastructure, implementations etc. are evolving, progressing and growing. This will help to increase Bitcoin's value in the long run what is much more important than just making a quick. |

I think there will be a big pump before halving and big dump also after halving. because I think a lot of people who will sell panic when bitcoin prices increase high after halving. |

With the block halving incoming and soon, I think the increase in the price is only reasonable, the new supply of coins will be halved so 2016 should be one of the record years for bitcoin IMO.

I think this year 2016 has great potential for bitcoin and it's price and generally the increase in media coverage and general interest about bitcoins and increase in attention and media coverage overall.

Completely agree, I think the price increased just because of the halving taking place this close, price seems to have risen much than before already. |

I'm not sure, but with the price of Bitcoin increasing since the beginning this year then it is a good sign, 2016 might be the year of Bitcoin or not regarding adoption but at least would be a year with high btc price.

if you really plan to buy yourself some bitcoins then right now is a great moment to do it. the closer we are coming to the block halving, the higher the price will be. waiting will cost you extra money for the same amount of coins you could have bought at todays prices. act now and profit later. |

That magic value of 1000 dollars i believe cant be achieved this year,we can reach the 700-800 dollars this year ,but well the market will show where bitcoin will stand,one thing is sure the halving is making people invest almost all if not all into it,expecting the fast increase of value ,and making the most get their profit instant.

I don't think so bitcoin price reaches $1000 in this year. it may cross at least 600 to 700$, I think if bitcoin cross 600 it will also a great achievement for bitcoin in this real, bitcoin also achieved so much this year. I agree, bitcoin price rising to $1000 is a bit to steep. $500/600 is the highest price of bitcoin this year maybe. We only could watch and wait. |
