Read my thread on Marshall Long: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1303147.0

I first met ML late last year at a Bitcoin conference held at SLS in LV. Before I go into what was relaid, first let me bring you back to the first of the year 2017 when I met Jim Blasko at a Bitcoin meetup, also in LV. Prior to meeting Jim, I was on record in stating that Jim purchased a new ride thanks to his nefarious token. Upon meeting Jim, he declared that his "new" ride was really a used Mustang, and that he and ML have split ways, going as far as dissing ML. Fast forward to meeting ML, I asked him how he and Jim were doing, whereupon ML stated that their relationship is fine (paraphrased) and in fact Jim was in attendance at the conference (though I never saw him), ML further stating that he saw Jim's ... wait for it ... Lambo (new or used unknown) in the parking lot (strange, for valet first came to mind, perhaps staged to be parked).

Leo, ML's partner, is a scumbag whose nefarious actions date long before the advent of Bitcoin, all revealed to the community thanks to my efforts. How did Paul and Marshall hook up, you ask? This ...

Or is that a butterfly? Think: Sonny Vleisides and Josh Zerlan of BFL.

Was crytpsy a front for BFL?

Your guess is as good as mine, but if you recall, Jeff Ownby of BFT once worked for BitJohn's dad.

On a side note, here's the pic that's been makin' the rounds ...

Complete resizable image here: https://i.imgur.com/BRdom0Y.jpg

Further recall that Jeff Ownby and Sonny Vleisides were, and perhaps still are active in the online poker and sports bettin' scene(s) as, too, Marshall Long dippin' his stinkin' toes into the latter.

BTW, that's Roger, hence his clever Twitter tweet. If it were Paul, the dudes wouldn't be huggin', they'd be a ball cappin'.

I'm curious as to who took the pic and where is that marina in Antigua and Barbuda?

No, the imdb link is correct, created when BFL was hosting a podcast reality show. Hey, why didn't Cryptsy have a reality show?

As for your last link, in case you're not versed, that was created with my original user account on this forum, currently on hiatus while advancing my Gleb account, this account mostly saved for venture-related posts (see sig, with apologies for the solicitation). Yes, cumulatively, I have the most posts on this forum, ALL informative and thought-provoking.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Okay, maybe not all of them, but surely most of them.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Okay, maybe not most, but some.  Cool Cool Cool Yes, I'm a legend in my mind, bastardizing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_TbovyVOzs.

Let me know if you're having trouble hunting down the Ownby/BitJohn connection, bud. Taxing my memory, it's likely in this thread, thus search for Ownby in the search bar above the fold, scrolling down the results to the earlier replies.

Here's the vid when Jeff was doing consultant work for BitJohn's dad, circa the same timeframe he was partnered with Sonny Vleisides scamming with their online sports betting sites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KuRDb2OZaE.

Don't forget, if you missed the Cryptsy Lawsuit you still have a chance with the Coinbase Lawsuit....

Those who got accepted on the settlement do they need to apply again?

Agree to rid the crypto world of marshall long, but this OP writes like Garza!

Quote
He was commissioned by his buddy Josh Garza to resulted the initial development of Paycoin. He and his developer objective up merely transcript/ pasting Peercoin and changing a few lines of code.

Where is our money from the settlement?

The last event mentioned on the settlement website was a court hearing on June 2, 2017.

I can't find any information about its result on cryptsyreceivership.com. Maybe I missed something because I haven't been keeping tabs on this thread.

http://www.cryptsysettlement.com/FAQs

26. When and where will the Court decide whether to approve the settlements?

The Court will hold a Final Settlement Hearing at 10:00 A.M. on June 2, 2017

<snip>

After the hearing, the Court will decide whether to approve the Settlements. The Court also may consider how much to award Co-Lead Counsel and the amount of the service awards for Plaintiffs. We do not know how long this decision will take.

Did the court approve the Settlements?
